Abstract

Anemia gizi besi merupakan salah satu masalah gizi utama di Indonesia dimana angka kematian pada ibu hamil masih cukup tinggi. Untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut maka pemerintah melaksanakan suatu program pemberian tablet zat besi pada ibu hamil. Salah satu program pemerintah untuk mencegah anemia kehamilan di Indonesia adalah suplementasi besi yang dibagikan gratis melalui Puskesmas dan Posyandu. Efektifitas program ini sulit dicapai karena sering kali dihambat oleh rendahnya kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam mengkonsumsi tablet besi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil dengan kepatuhan dalam mengkonsumsi tablet besi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki tahun 2019. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku ibu hamil dan motivasi petugas kesehatan dengan kepatuhan mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi pada ibu hamil. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei bersifat deskriptif analitik yang menggunakan kuesioner sebagai pedoman wawancara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil yang sudah mendapat tablet zat besi, memeriksakan kehamilannya di Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki. Pada Tahun 2019 mayoritas kurang sebanyak 32 orang (55,1%), Distribusi Frekuensi Motivasi petugas kesehatan Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki Tahun 2019 mayoritas tinggi sebanyak 30 orang (51,7%), Distribusi frekuensi kepatuhan mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki Padangsidimpuan Tahun 2019 mayoritas patuh sebanyak 38 orang (65,5%), Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku ibu hamil dengan kepatuhan mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi dengan nilai P value 0.003, Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi petugas kesehatan dengan kepatuhan mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi dengan nilai P value 0,45. Abstract

Soap is a material used for washing clothes, furniture, bodies, etc which is made from a mixture of alkalis (sodium or potassium hydroxide) and triglycerides from C16 carbon chain fatty acids through a saponification reaction or also called a lathering reaction at a temperature of 80 -100 o C. In this process, the fatty acids will be hydrolyzed by alkalis to form glycerin and raw soap. The application of science and technology from community service is to equip the younger generation in producing liquid dish soap for the students in Health Faculty Aufa Royhan University Padangsidimpuan and to attract students to be skilled and creative entrepreneurs. Activities carried out in the form of training with instructors from S-2 lecturers of the Pharmacy Study Program, Health Faculty Aufa Royhan University Padangsidimpuan include training in making dishwashing liquid soap as a creative and competitive entrepreneurial product. The results that have been achieved from this training activity in general are that students are very enthusiastic about participating in this training and they are able to make their own liquid dish soap for their own needs and market the dish soap as a source of income so that they can improve the entrepreneurial skills in Health Faculty Aufa Royhan University Padangsidimpuan

Abstract

Lip balm is a cosmetic preparation that is useful for moisturizing and shiny lips. The purpose of this study was to formulate lip balm preparations using Bit Fruit Extract (Beta Vulgaris) and to evaluate its effectiveness as a lip moisturizer. Beetroot extract (Beta Vulgaris) was formulated with concentrations of 0%, 6%, 8%, and 10%, as a blank used lip balm base. Tests on lip balm preparations include homogeneity test, pH measurement, irritation test and stability test of the preparation with parameters such as odor, color and pH during 12 weeks of storage. Bit (Beta Vulgaris) extract lip balm with a concentration of 10% can provide a moisturizing effect Lips are best at restoring lip skin after 4 weeks.

Abstract

Essential oil derived from the red citronella plant (Andropogon Citratus DC) is usually used as fragrance and other ingredients. This study aims to study the extraction of essential oil from red lemongrass by hydrodistillation method with the help of microwave heating or known as microwave hydrodestillation. In the microwave hydrodestillation method, water is used as a solvent and using a conventional microwave with a power of 300 W and extraction time of 3 hours. The results of the study using the microwave hydrodestillation method obtained a yield of 0.5704%.

Abstract

Facial cleansers generally have good cleaning power. Facial cleansing soap is also very necessary to keep facial skin clean and healthy. One of the natural ingredients that can help the cleaning process is guava leaf water. Guava leaf water contains several secondary metabolites, such as tannins, triterpenoids, glycosides and flavonoids. In addition, the selection of dosage forms also affects the cleaning power of a cleaning soap. Therefore, in this study, a cleaning soap was made from guava leaf water and a physical evaluation of the soap was carried out in accordance with the specifications and requirements specified. The principle of the saponification reaction is the reaction between oil and KOH/NaOH. The facial cleansing soap made in this study is solid soap. Based on the quality test results, solid leri soap has a pH of 10.3, the saponification rate is 32 water content 34 water content 34% and respondent tests on the aroma and foam aspects which show good enough results so that guava water treatment can be an alternative solution to prevent the use of water. Facial cleanser that contains harmful chemicals.

Abstract

Pada masa anak usia sekolah merupakan masa tumbuh kembang, sehingga membutuhkan nutrisi atau makanan untuk mendukung proses pertumbuhannya. Makanan jajanan memegang peranan yang cukup penting dalam memberikan asupan energi dan zat gizi lain bagi anak-anak usia sekolah. kenyataanya jajanan atau makanan yang ada di lingkungan sekolah terkadang tidak bersih dan tidak mengandung gizi yang cukup. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, diperlukan adanya edukasi untuk memperoleh pengetahuan tentang jajanan sehat. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan pada anak usia sekolah untuk memilih jajanan yang sehat. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode ceramah dan metode tanya jawab. Hasil pelaksanaan pada kegiatan ini yakni anak usia sekolah sangat antusias, aktif bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan serta mampu memahami syarat-syarat jajanan sehat. Kesimpulannya bahwa kegiatan ini mampu menanamkan konsep perubahan perilaku untuk mencegah mengkonsumsi jajanan yang tidak sehat sehingga tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini dapat tercapai dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan anak usia sekolah.

Abstract

Dry skin occurs when the skin lacks moisture. One practical solution to overcome this problem is to use a clay mask formulated with carrot extract and rice flour. This research aims to develop a clay mask containing carrot extract and rice flour. Carrot extract is rich in beta-carotene which functions to protect the skin from exposure to UV rays, and contains vitamin A and antioxidants which help brighten the skin. Aging in general is a natural process that no one can put down. The carotenoid content in carrots can be seen from the intensity of the color, namely the more orange the color of the carrot, the more carotenoid it contains. Almost everyone wants to have perfect facial skin, especially young women. Teenagers, especially young women, are familiar with skincare.

Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan keadaan yang harus dimiliki oleh manusia secara fisik ataupun mental agar dapat menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari secara ideal terkhususnya pada Lansia merupakan penduduk beresiko tinggi untuk terjadinya berbagai macam penyakit degeneratif, yang berkaitan dengan proses penuaan, seperti stroke, hipertensi dan diabetes melitus. Banyak dari masyarakat yang tidak menyadari akan perlunya memeriksakam kesehatan lebih rutin dan mengatur gaya hidup yang baik. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan agar masyarakat semakin sadar akan perlunya memeriksakan diri sendiri dan keluarga terutama pada lansia. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pengobatan gratis serta adanya edukasi kesehatan dengan penyuluhan dan dilakukan kegiatan pemeriksaan kesehatan seperti mengukur tekanan darah, cek gula darah, cek kolesterol dan asam urat. Jumlah peserta kegiatan ini adalah 40 orang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan berkoordinasi dengan aparat desa dengan jajarannya yang dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan dan pengobatan gratis dimana adanya edukasi kesehatan dengan penyuluhan dan dilakukan kegiatan pemeriksaan kesehatan seperti mengukur tekanan darah, cek gula darah, cek kolesterol dan asam urat yang dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan dan akrirnya pemebrian obat. Kesimpulan dengan adanya pengobatan gratis ini dapat membantu masyarakat khususnya lansia dalam mendeteksi dini terhadap status kesehatannya. Abstract

Soap is a preparation obtained from a mixture of fatty acids and strong bases used to clean dirt that sticks. Soap is part of the form of pharmaceutical preparations which are cosmetics used as body cleansers and also as non-natural protectors on the skin. The purpose of this community service is to develop public knowledge about making soap and the uses of soap. The basic ingredients for making this solid soap are coconut oil and palm oil. While melinjo seed extract is used as an anti-bacterial for soap. While NaOH is used as an alkali. From the results of community service, it is known that the community is very enthusiastic about the making of solid soap from coconut oil, palm oil and melinjo seed extract because the community can find out how to make solid soap and also the benefits of solid soap. Conclusion The community knows how to make soap and also the benefits of the soap that has been made.
