Abstract

Pelayanan dan kepuasan pelanggan merupakan tujuan utama perusahaan jasa, dengan fokus pada bagaimana memberikan pelayanan yang optimal kepada konsumen. Berfokus pada kebutuhan pelanggan dengan menggabungkan semua aktivitas yang akan mempengaruhi konsumen dan menghasilkan keuntungan melalui layanan yang fokus pada kepuasan pelanggan. Kualitas pelayanan merupakan kunci utama untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Meningkatkan  peran optimal kualitas pelayanan dari penyedia layanan atau karyawan dalam perusahaan. Penting untuk mempertimbangkan bisnis cara meningkatkan kemampuan atau pengembangan pribadi karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pentingnya soft skill yang dimiliki seseorang akan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, terutama pada penyedia layanan. Selain mengetahui hal-hal yang termasuk dalam kategori soft skill  yang tak kalah penting adalah upaya pengembangan soft skill penyedia pelayanan. Peran perusahaan  perlu untuk menjaga kualitas pelayanan yang baik dan menerapkan persyaratan soft skill.            Jenis pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitin ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dimana sumber data yang dipaparkan dalam bentuk angka. Penelitian ini difokuskan tentang pengembangan soft skill dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh  soft skill dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan memiliki pengaruh sebesar 88.2%  berdasarkan hasil koefisien determinasi/R2. Artinya soft skill memiliki pengaruh yang sangat kuat terhadap Meningkatkan  Kualitas Pelayanan.

Abstract

Primary bloodstream infection is a laboratory-confirmed bloodstream infection that cannot be attributed to any source other than a Central Vein Catheter (CVC) and develops 48 hours after placement. Central Vein Catheter (CVC) placement in critical patients is often necessary for measuring central venous pressure, fluid resuscitation, and administration of inotropic and vasoactive drugs. This study aimed to determine the correlation between CVC care and patient-related risk factors for the incidence of primary bloodstream infection in patients in the Intensive Care Unit of Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital. The study employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional study approach, and samples were selected using accidental sampling. Bivariate data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test, while multivariate data analysis used logistic regression with backward method modeling. The study identified age (p=0.018), underlying disease (p=0.017), and CVC care (p=0.019) as factors associated with the incidence of primary bloodstream infection. The underlying disease was the most dominant factor affecting the incidence of primary bloodstream infection, with EXP (B) = 23.293.

Abstract

Menggali potensi pariwisata merupakan langkah strategis yang penting dalam upaya meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pariwisata tidak hanya menjadi sumber pendapatan yang signifikan bagi suatu daerah, tetapi juga berperan dalam memperkenalkan budaya dan keindahan alam lokal kepada dunia. Sejak beberapa tahun yang lalu, rencana pembuatan tempat wisata di Sungai Cileueur sudah tercetus. Karang taruna setempat bekerja sama dengan Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Ciamis untuk mengelola tempat wisata ini. Namun, hingga saat ini belum terealisasikan. Tujuan utama penulisan ini sebagai acuan dari perspektif akademisis yang dapat dipertimbangkan apabila Sungai Cileueur akan dijadikan objek wisata. Tulisan ini diharapkan menjadi bahan masukan dan pertimbangan, selain untuk mengangkat daerah oleh objek wisatanya, juga diharapkan dapat mengangkat perekonomian daerah.Kata Kunci : Potensi Pariwisata, Objek Wisata, Sungai Cileueur, Kabupaten Ciamis.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the environmentally friendly concept is implemented and what must be improved to raise the awareness of eco-friendly behavior of the food stall runners at the culinary center of Kreneng night market in Denpasar. Environmentally friendly behavior or eco-friendly behavior refers to behavior that is not harmful to the environment. In terms of products, this means everything from production to packaging and marketing must be environmentally safe. Business activities that are not environmentally friendly can cause global warming. Furthermore, global warming means increasing the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere, sea, and land. The impact of global warming results in sea level rise, climate change, damage to organisms, and effects on water availability. The impact of environmental damage will chain if there is no effort to anticipate it. One way to anticipate ecosystem damage that needs to be done is implementing environmentally friendly behavior. An environmentally friendly lifestyle needs to be implemented in order to minimize damage to the ecosystem. Environmentally friendly business activities are currently being promoted throughout the world. Ecosystem damage affects economic, social problems, and even socio-political stability in a country and even the world and will have a direct or indirect impact on human life. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data sources were obtained from library studies and direct interviews with business actors in the restaurant sector. From this research, it was found that several large restaurants, especially those located in 5-star hotel environments, have carried out business activities that indicate they are environmentally friendly by carrying out green actions, green food, and green donations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa Hampir semua industri hotel saat ini mensyaratkan adanya kombinasi yang sesuai antara hard skill dan soft skill, pada setiap tugas dan posisi karyawan tersebut. Di kalangan para praktisi sumber daya manusia, melakukan pendekatan hard skill saja kini sudah mulai ditinggalkan dan mulai untuk meningkatkan soft skill karyawan dengan memberikan pelatihan serta motivasi secara berkala. Hal ini bisa dilihat pada iklan-iklan lowongan kerja berbagai industri hotel yang juga mensyaratkan kemampuan soft skill, seperti team work, kemampuan komunikasi, dan interpersonal relationship, dalam job requirement. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hard skill merupakan faktor penting dalam bekerja, namun keberhasilan seseorang didalam pekerjaan biasanya lebih ditentukan oleh soft skill yang baik. Kualitas dan kepuasan tamu berkaitan erat dimana kualitas memberikan suatu dorongan kepada pelanggan untuk menjalin ikatan yang kuat dengan industri hotel. Ikatan seperti ini memungkinkan jangka panjang sehingga industri hotel harus memahami dengan seksama harapan tamu serta kebutuhan mereka, dengan demikian industri perhotelan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan tamu serta pengalaman pelanggan yang menyenangkan dan meminimumkan atau meniadakan pengalaman pelanggan yang kurang menyenangkan.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dan perkembangan zaman telah mendorong meningkatnya minat masyarakat dalam bisnis kuliner, baik dalam bentuk bisnis rumahan maupun outlet besar dengan cabang-cabangnya. Fasilitas makanan dan minuman yang berkualitas memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung bisnis kuliner online, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan pendapatan pengusaha kuliner di daerah tersebut. Pertumbuhan pendapatan ini sejalan dengan permintaan masyarakat akan inovasi dan kreativitas dalam produk kuliner di Desa Sipangan Bolon. Studi kasus di Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon, Kawasan Danau Toba, menggarisbawahi pentingnya pemanfaatan inovasi dan kreativitas dalam semua aspek bisnis kuliner online, dari pengolahan hingga penjualan. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap produk makanan dan minuman, baik melalui lokasi fisik maupun aplikasi. Hasil penelitian mengenai pemanfaatan inovasi dan kreativitas terhadap kualitas makanan dan minuman di Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon, Kabupaten Simalungun, menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden merasa puas dengan inovasi dalam bisnis kuliner online, dengan nilai rata-rata 3,61 dan persentase 72%. Namun, perlu diperhatikan bahwa inovasi yang tidak memadai dalam bisnis kuliner dapat mengurangi daya tarik masyarakat terhadap makanan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas dan kreativitas dalam olahan produk makanan juga perlu diperhatikan, dengan persentase 68% atau angka 3,68 sebagai target yang diharapkan.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of using English as the sole medium of instruction in teaching English to non-native speakers. The main goal is to evaluate how this method improves language proficiency, particularly in terms of fluency, comprehension, and confidence. The study adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing observations and interviews with both teachers and students from secondary schools that implement English-only instruction. Data were collected over a six-month period, followed by thematic analysis to uncover the key advantages and challenges of this teaching approach. Findings reveal that students exposed to exclusive English instruction demonstrate better fluency and listening comprehension compared to their peers in bilingual learning environments. Moreover, increased interaction between teachers and students in English was observed, creating a more immersive and engaging learning experience. Despite these benefits, the study also identified challenges, such as initial student discomfort and difficulties in grasping complex instructions. In conclusion, while teaching English exclusively in English is an effective strategy for enhancing language acquisition, it requires thoughtful support to accommodate varying levels of student proficiency. Future studies could explore the lasting effects of this method on students' academic performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine tourist satisfaction when visiting Aan Tourism Village and to find out what factors influence tourist satisfaction. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument which was administered to 20 tourists who visited Aan village in November 2023. The results of the research showed that tourist satisfaction was dominated by the accessibility factor to the Aan tourist village destination which was easy to reach, then followed by the availability of internet access, and tourist engagement with local culture and people. Apart from that, tourist satisfaction is also determined by good service from the manager, the cleanliness and beauty of the tourist village, as well as the friendliness of the local population.

Abstract

This study examines the interplay between language structure and social relations in hierarchical interactions, focusing on the speeches of religious lecturers addressing street food vendors. Using a qualitative approach, the research employs direct observation and audio recordings to capture the linguistic features and social dynamics within these interactions. The data were analyzed through pragmatic and sociolinguistic frameworks to uncover patterns in language use and relational positioning. The findings reveal that religious lecturers utilize distinct linguistic strategies, including simplified language, contextualized examples, and persuasive rhetoric, to engage their audience effectively. Moreover, the social relations within these interactions are characterized by hierarchical, paternalistic, and authority-based dynamics, reflecting broader cultural and societal structures. This study highlights the role of language in shaping power relations and provides insights into the pragmatic and sociolinguistic mechanisms underlying hierarchical communication.

Abstract

The rise of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) represents a transformative shift in the global financial landscape, challenging traditional financial models and offering new possibilities for a more inclusive and efficient financial system. This study aims to explore the opportunities and challenges that DeFi poses to the conventional financial sector, focusing on its impact on banking, credit systems, investments, and payment systems. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including secondary data analysis, expert interviews, and first-hand experience with DeFi protocols such as lending, borrowing, and arbitrage. The findings highlight the significant potential of DeFi in creating alternative financial models that can increase financial inclusion, enhance access to capital, and reduce transaction costs. Recent data indicates that the Total Value Locked (TVL) in DeFi platforms has surged to over $50 billion as of January 2025, reflecting growing adoption. Additionally, daily transaction volumes across major DeFi platforms have reached approximately $10 billion, with active users exceeding 4 million globally. However, the research also identifies critical challenges, including regulatory uncertainty, security vulnerabilities, and the complexity of DeFi platforms, which pose barriers to mainstream adoption. This paper contributes to the understanding of how DeFi can reshape the financial ecosystem, offering insights into its future potential, the risks involved, and the steps required to address the existing challenges. Furthermore, it underscores the need for ongoing research into the regulatory aspects of DeFi and its collaboration with traditional financial institutions.
