Abstract

ABSTRAKProgram dan layanan pendidikan kesehatan bagi siswa usia sekolah dasar sudah mulai lebih banyak melakukan pembinaan dan pemberdayaan sejak dini disekolah. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan pembangunan kesehatan difokuskan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, kemauan, dan kemampuan setiap orang untuk berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Anak usia dini harus diajarkan bagaimana cara hidup bersih dan sehat, dan salah satu tempat untuk memulainya adalah di dalam kelas. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui proses edukasi yang meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi yang diikuti oleh siswa SDN 014 Muara Badak, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Materi  yang disampaikan  meliputi pengolongan obat, penggunaan obat yang tepat, tempat memperoleh obat yang baik, menyimpan obat yang benar, dan memusnahkan obat yang sudah rusak atau kadaluarsa, serta pada pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat cuci tangan dengan benar, makan jajanan sehat, olahraga teratur, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, dan melakukan kerja bakti bersama dilingkungan sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat. Diakhir sesi pengabdian siswa antusias memberikan jawaban kuis terkait pengenalan obat serta berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Dari hasil pengabdian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan dapat menambah pengetahuan siswa terkait pengunaan obat, perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS). Kata kunci: pelayanan informasi obat; PHBS; sekolah; penyuluhan. ABSTRACTHealth education programs and services for elementary school-age students have begun to provide more guidance and empowerment from an early age in school. Therefore, the implementation of health development is focused on increasing everyone's awareness, willingness and ability to live a clean and healthy life (PHBS) in the family, school and community environment. Early childhood should be taught how to live a clean and healthy life, and one place to start is in the classroom. Community service activities are carried out through an educational process which includes counseling, discussions which are attended by students of SDN 014 Muara Badak, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The material presented includes drug classification, proper use of drugs, good places to get medicines, store the right medicines, and destroy drugs that are damaged or expired, as well as participants' knowledge and understanding of clean and healthy living behaviors, washing hands properly, eating healthy snacks, regular exercise, disposing of trash in its place, and doing community service in the school environment to create a healthy environment. At the end of the dedication session the students enthusiastically gave quiz answers related to drug introduction and clean and healthy living behavior. From the results of the dedication it can be concluded that activities can increase students' knowledge regarding drug use, clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). Keywords: drug information; PHBS; school; extension.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perilaku screen time yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan kurangnya aktivitas fisik pada anak usia sekolah. Kondisi ini dapat meningkatkan risiko gangguan status gizi pada anak. Tujuan: Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan IMT dan perilaku screen time pada anak usia sekolah. Metode: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional design. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SD dan SMP di Kota Samarinda yang berjumlah 70 responden. Penelitian menggunakan google form. Hasil: Responden dengan nilai IMT status gizi obesitas sebanyak 3 siswa (4,3%), status gizi berlebih sebanyak 24 siswa (34,3%) dan 43 siswa (61,4%) status gizi normal. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara IMT dan perilaku screen time pada anak usia sekolah (p value=  0,809). Kesimpulan: Perubahan IMT pada anak usia sekolah dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Perilaku screen time berlebihan dapat menyebabkan pola makan anak berubah sehingga dapat berisiko mengalami penurunan atau pun peningkatan berat badan. Pembatasan dalam penggunaan gadget perlu diperhatikan oleh orang tua dan bekerja sama dengan pihak sekolah.

Abstract

COVID-19 was declared a national disaster on February 29, 2020, the government recommends that all health services focus on and prioritize handling COVID-19 and other health problems that are considered medical emergencies. Changes in health service priorities decreasing Sexual and Reproductive Health (KSR) services that are not included in medical emergency services. This restriction certainly makes it difficult for adolescents who need direct services such as STI checks or other reproductive health complaints (Sutrisna, 2020). Problems regarding menstruation are a problem for most women in Indonesia (38.45%) (Damayanti, 2013; Yunita et al, 2021). Service activities carried out online using an application attended by 90 junior high school students were health counseling activities regarding health education for young women: premenstrual syndrome. At the end of the activity, it was found that the majority of the levels of premenstrual syndrome experienced by 43 participants (47.8%) were moderate.

Abstract

The group of elementary school age children is a stage of life where children experience rapid growth and development. Imbalance between nutritional intake and daily needs can cause nutritional health problems. This community service activity was carried out as an effort to promote health in groups of elementary school age children. Balanced nutrition education using picture guessing game media. Participants in this community service were 70 students from grades 1-6 in one of the elementary schools in Sungai Bawang Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The final results of this activity show an increase in the mean value of knowledge from 5.96 to 6.23 and the p value (0.000). Health education using games can increase children's interest in learning about efforts to maintain health

Abstract

Hand washing is very effective in preventing disease and reducing the spread of bacteria when eating. Correct hand washing behavior is influenced by the level of knowledge possessed by the community, especially elementary school children. The importance of knowledge about PHBS, especially hand washing during school-age children which is considered to have the potential to be an agent of change for the community and the surrounding environment. Community service activities for health education PHBS hand washing through the role play method were carried out for students in grades 1 & 2 of Elementary School 014 Sungai Bawang Cultural Village. The results of the activity show that there is an increase in knowledge about hand washing in students so that the knowledge they already have can be maintained and improved through application in everyday life through the supervision of teachers and parents

Abstract

PMS menimbulkan tanda gejala tidak hanya secara fisik namun juga secara psikologis. Beberapa penelitian menemukan adanya keterkaitan antara gangguan psikologis seperti depresi dan menstruasi yang dialami oleh seorang wanita, Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan metode survey menggunakan instrument berupa Kuesioner yang digunakan untuk pengukuran skala PMS adalah “PING” pra menstrual syndrome scale dan DASS 21 digunakan sebagai alat ukur kesehatan mental remaja putri, 90 siswi SMP mengisi kuesioner yang dibagikan melalui formulir google. mayoritas responden dalam penelitian ini berusia 12 tahun sebanyak 42 orang (46,7%). Sebanyak 61 responden (67,8%) remaja mengalami depresi sedang, sebanyak 46 responden (51,1%) mengalami tingkat ansietas sangat berat dan sebanyak 23 reponden (25,6%) responden mengalami tingkat stres sedang.  Mayoritas tingkat sindrom pra menstruasi yang dialami 43 responden (47,8%) adalah sedang.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara sindrom pra menstruasi dan masalah kesehatan mental pada remaja putri terutama pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan variasi rentang stres yang dialami adalah normal sampai dengan sangat berat, bahkan mayoritas responden mengalami tingkat stres normal dan ringan hal ini disebabkan pandemi COVID-19 yang telah berlangsung lebih dari satu tahun memungkinkan para remaja putri telah memiliki koping sendiri untuk mengatasi tekanan atau perubahan yang dialami misalnya tetap berkomunikasi menggunakan media sosial, mengganti aktivitas luar rumah menjadi aktivitas membantu ibu dirumah, menemukan hobi baru misalnya berolahraga didalam rumah atau belajar memasak, dengan kata lain mereka berusaha menyesuaikan diri mereka dengan perubahan yang terjadi.

Abstract

In Traditional teaching methods for chemical molecules, which rely on textbooks and physical modeling tools, face challenges in providing an engaging and comprehensive learning experience. This study introduces "Magic Boom Chemical," an augmented reality (AR)-based educational tool utilizing marker tracking to display three-dimensional molecular structures. A quasi-experimental method was employed, involving two groups of high school students: an experimental group using the AR application and a control group using conventional teaching methods. Pre-tests and post-tests were conducted to assess the effectiveness of the tool. Results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding and engagement when using the AR-based media, with the experimental group achieving higher average post-test scores. The study concludes that integrating AR into educational materials can enhance learning outcomes and increase students’ motivation. These findings highlight the potential of AR technology as an innovative solution for improving science education and suggest further research to refine and expand its applications.

Abstract

The Ministry of Health (2015) conducted monitoring of nutritional status with the result that EastKalimantan had 26.7% of children who were stunted, of which 18.3% were classified as short and 8.4%were very short. Stunting is closely related to low nutrient intake due to inappropriate feeding behavior,this is influenced by maternal nutritional knowledge and local wisdom. This study aims to see therelationship and implications of local wisdom and knowledge of mothers on nutritional status and diet inpreschool age children. Using analytical observational methods with a combination of quantitative andqualitative methods with a number of respondents 50. Logistic regression test revealed that the dominantoccurrence of stunting is influenced by the mother's knowledge of nutrition with a value of p = 0.027 andOR = 3.801. Meanwhile, the qualitative data reveals that there is a misperception regarding growth anddevelopment in preschool age children. This analysis informs that the mother's mistaken knowledge andperceptions of nutrition have a close relationship with the incidence of stunting in preschool children.

Abstract

Personal ownership of gadgets among teenagers can be a risk factor for eye health problems. This condition can cause gadget addictive behavior, especially in young women who live in the same community. One effort to increase knowledge is through health education. This community service activity aims to increase teenagers' knowledge about how to maintain eye health. The activity method consists of pre-test, lecture, discussion and post-test. The knowledge results showed an increase in the pre-test score in the good knowledge category from 35,71% to 73,80% in the post-test. It is hoped that this activity can be a form of education that the community can provide every time they accept new members in an effort to maintain eye health.

Abstract

Introduction: Body Mass Index (BMI) is a crucial factor for adolescent girls. This is related to efforts to prevent stunting in the future when they become mothers. Early detection can be done independently by adolescent girls by monitoring their nutritional status based on BMI. Objective: To train adolescent girls' ability to measure BMI in Samarinda City. Method: This activity will be implemented in two sessions. The first session will measure height and weight. This will then be followed by practice calculating BMI. Results and Conclusions: Participants were categorized as early and middle adolescents. All participants took BMI measurements. The BMI measurement results found that 31.35% of adolescents were undernourished and 4.07% were overnourished. Continuous early detection of BMI is necessary to monitor adolescent nutritional status.Keywords: BMI measurement, adolescent girls
