Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis aspek kemampuan literasi matematika siswa SMP Quran Kisaran pada materi segiempat. Sample yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 orang siswa dari populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Quran Kisaran di ambil secara acak. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deksriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian adalah soal tes kemampuan literasi matematika berupa 3 butir soal essay serta wawancara. Hasil tes yang telah dilaksanakan pada beberapa soal literasi matematika menunjukan hasil yang baik. Terlihat dari presentase per indikator disetiap butir soal. Indikator  pertama yaitu merumuskan masalah nyata dalam pemecahan masalah memperoleh hasil untuk butir soal 1, 2 dan 3 masing-masing sebanyak 90,62% (29 siswa), 84,37% (27 siswa), dan 81,25% (26 siswa). Indikator kedua yaitu menggunakan matematika dalam pemecahan masalah memperoleh hasil untuk butir soal 1, 2 dan 3 masing-masing sebanyak 93,87% (30 siswa), 90,62% (29 siswa), dan 87,5% (28 siswa). Indikator ketiga yaitu menafsirkan solusi dalam pemecahan masalah memperoleh hasil untuk butir soal 1, 2 dan 3 masing-masing sebanyak 84,37% (27 siswa), 81,25% (26 siswa), dan 87,5% (28 siswa). Kata Kunci : Proses Jawaban Siswa, Kemampuan Literasi Matematika, Model Discovery Learning

Abstract

The research conducted uses the Meta analysis method by reviewing several articles in journals, articles in research journals are deliberately selected based on their relevance to the research topic and can be accessed online through Google Scholar. This study aims to determine the difficulties of mathematics students in differential equations difficulties faced by students, this problem has previously been researched based on previous studies. Meta analysis is a study in the form of research on similar problems. Previous researchers researched using. Data collection techniques are interviews documentation and tests. The unit of analysis in this study is in the form of data information, namely written documents about student mathematical difficulties in differential equations, In this research analysis used qualitative descriptive qualitative analysis data analysis. The results showed that with the research on students' mathematical difficulties in differential equations can find out what factors cause the problem. By knowing what factors can cause learning difficulties so that the problem can be handled so that it can produce good learning outcomes.

Abstract

Since mastery of problem-solving techniques is one of the main objectives of studying mathematics, such techniques are very important in the field of mathematical education. With the help of the Pythagorean theorem, the problem-solving skills of eighth-grade students will be assessed. SM Muhammadiyah 01 Field, Class VIII-1 Integrated Facilities, is the location of this research. This research uses qualitative research methodology. The instruments used in this study are four and ten-question model questionnaires labeled Highly Agree (SS), Agreed (S), and Disagreement (TS). This research resulted in high categories whose presentation scores reached 57 to 60 were obtained by 2 students, a medium category where its presentation ratings reached 35 to 46 was achieved by 21 students, and a low category where the presentation value reached 2 compared to 31 was achieved by 5 students.

Abstract

Finding a solution to a problem is called problem-solving, therefore learning mathematics means finding solutions to problems that arise in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to characterize students' aptitude in mathematical reasoning after completing a project related to Real Analysis. This study used descriptive techniques and was quantitative. Students' logical reasoning skills were revealed from the test results they obtained while answering questions designed based on indicators of mathematical thinking skills. Data analysis techniques used in this research include surveys, data visualization, and observation. Research on students' mathematical thinking skills showed findings with high, medium, and lesser categories.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of quadrilateral plane shapes among fourth-grade students at SD 060931 Medan through the use of the educational game media Wordwall. Conducted over two cycles, each comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases, the study involved 16 students and used test instruments validated by experts. Data were collected through learning outcome tests administered after each cycle. The analysis employed descriptive quantitative techniques by comparing average scores across the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The results showed a significant improvement in student achievement: from an initial average score of 33.75 in the pre-cycle to 53.75 in cycle I (an increase of 59.26%), and further to 74.38 in cycle II (an increase of 38.37%). The total improvement from the pre-cycle to cycle II reached 120.37%. These findings indicate that Wordwall effectively enhances student engagement and understanding of geometric concepts. The study concludes that interactive and game-based media like Wordwall can significantly improve learning outcomes in mathematics, especially on abstract topics such as geometry.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 060931 Medan in the Pancasila subject, specifically on the topics of rights, obligations, and rules, by implementing the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach supported by the use of interactive media, Quizizz. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) method conducted over two cycles. Each cycle included the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive methods. The findings indicated an improvement in students' learning outcomes, as shown by an increase in the average score from 60.00 in the pre-cycle to 72.19 in the first cycle, and further to 84.38 in the second cycle. These results suggest that the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach, when combined with technology-based learning media such as Quizizz, can significantly enhance students’ understanding of the material taught. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 060931 Medan pada mata pelajaran Pancasila materi hak, kewajiban, dan aturan, dengan menerapkan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching yang didukung oleh penggunaan media interaktif Quizizz. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, sementara analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan rata-rata nilai dari 60,00 pada tahap pra-siklus menjadi 72,19 pada siklus I, dan terus meningkat hingga mencapai 84,38 pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching yang dikombinasikan dengan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti Quizizz dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara signifikan terhadap materi yang diajarkan.

Abstract

Reading ability is a fundamental skill that significantly influences students’ academic success at the elementary level. However, many third-grade students still struggle with deep reading comprehension, especially in answering inferential questions. This study aims to analyze the role of cognitive development in elementary students’ reading abilities. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at a public elementary school in Palembang. The findings indicate that while students have mastered technical reading skills, they remain weak in understanding abstract reading content. Teachers have applied strategies such as read-aloud sessions, discussions, and visual media as forms of scaffolding to support students’ comprehension. The challenges encountered include limited instructional time, large class sizes, and a lack of reading materials suited to children's cognitive stages. These results highlight the importance of designing reading instruction that aligns with students’ cognitive development stages to improve their ability to understand texts comprehensively and meaningfully.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) for addition and subtraction material for Grade 1 students at SDN 43 Talang Ubi. The research employed the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Expert validation results indicated that the developed LKPD has a high level of validity in terms of content feasibility (0.875), media (0.847), and graphical design (0.938). The implementation of the LKPD in the classroom showed an increase in students’ average scores from 63.07 (pretest) to 72.67 (posttest), indicating a significant improvement in mathematical concept comprehension. The PBL-based LKPD was found to be effective in enhancing student engagement and understanding of basic arithmetic operations and can serve as an innovative and enjoyable alternative learning medium to support mathematics education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana penerapan Project Based Learning lewat kegiatan menanam kacang hijau di kelas rendah, khususnya di kelas III SDN 06 Laut Tador. Ide dari pembelajaran ini adalah supaya siswa bisa lebih terlatih berpikir kritis, bisa kerja sama dengan teman, dan juga lebih peduli sama lingkungan sekitar. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi kasus. Subjeknya melibatkan guru dan siswa kelas III. Data yang dikumpulkan lewat observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini terlihat kalau pembelajaran berbasis proyek membuat siswa lebih aktif, lebih punya rasa tanggung jawab, dan makin paham konsep pertumbuhan tanaman. Kesimpulannya, model Project Based Learning ini cocok diterapkan di kelas rendah. Apalagi kalau dibantu dengan media sederhana, misalnya kapas, tanah, atau pot bekas, hasilnya jadi lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Draft mathematics used for explore existence mathematics in culture especially in art, one of which is in tools music gondang part time. one culture mandailing is Gordang Part time that is tool music traditionally composed from nine drums with different heights and diameters so that produce different tones and played by 5-6 players. Research this aim for knowing how history and concept mathematics contained in the musical instrument Gordang While. Obtained data form data qualitative whereas data source obtained from observation, documentation and related interview with godang musical instrument part time. Instrument in study this is guidelines interview, sheet observation, and documentation. Type study this is study qualitative character descriptive. Research results show that godang musical instrument Part time this born range 600 AD in the kingdom Sibaruar Connection. Nine drums of Gordang Part time have names different names on each area, consists of the 9 types of drums that have different sizes. Every size have 5 cm difference in each the drum. Gordang Part time have 1 type form geometry get up flat that is form circles on the top and bottom from tube Gordang Part time and 2 types form geometry get up room that is tube and cone beheaded.
