Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata sudah dilaksanakan di Desa Namo Tualang, Kecamatan Sibiru-biru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara pada tanggal 15 Juli sampai dengan 3 Agustus 2024. Tujuan utama dilakukannya KKN di desa ini dikarenakan potensi desa tersebut yang melimpah guna meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) dan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berperan dalam mengembangkan dan mengembangkan potensi desa melalui pelaksanaan KKN. Hasil dari program KKN secara keseluruhan termasuk peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat. dalam mengolah SDA yang tidak terpakai menjadi produk yang sangat bermanfaat bagi warga desa, membuat metode pembelajaran yang menarik di sekolah juga sosialisasi kesehatan.

Abstract

Problem solving is about finding a solution to a problem, so learning mathematics involves solving problems that relate to everyday life. The method of research used is qualitative descriptive research aimed at describing and explaining the methods of solving problems of Pythagoras's theorem students, as seen from the analysis of student's ability to solve mathematical problems. Information obtained from the work or written answers (tests) that have been completed. In this study, 30 students participated in the 2022/2023 academic year in the eighth grade of Delitua Private High School. The highest percentage value was 98.04% for the indicator of problem understanding, while the lowest percentage was 33.34% for the re-examination indicator. Overall, the average percentage score was 69.51%, which is high. This means that the ability of the students of the eighth grade of Delitua Private High School to solve mathematical problems using the material of Pythagoras's theorem is very competent. The students' responses to the statement in the mathematical problem-solving test were effective because all the statements were answered positively by ≥ 90% of students

Abstract

Since mastery of problem-solving techniques is one of the main objectives of studying mathematics, such techniques are very important in the field of mathematical education. With the help of the Pythagorean theorem, the problem-solving skills of eighth-grade students will be assessed. SM Muhammadiyah 01 Field, Class VIII-1 Integrated Facilities, is the location of this research. This research uses qualitative research methodology. The instruments used in this study are four and ten-question model questionnaires labeled Highly Agree (SS), Agreed (S), and Disagreement (TS). This research resulted in high categories whose presentation scores reached 57 to 60 were obtained by 2 students, a medium category where its presentation ratings reached 35 to 46 was achieved by 21 students, and a low category where the presentation value reached 2 compared to 31 was achieved by 5 students.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is important for students to have in the mathematics learning process. However, the fact is that students still have difficulty creating novelty when given a problem. This research analyzes students' creative thinking abilities regarding high, medium, and low learning independence in mathematics. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-pottest design. The subjects of this research were 20 grade 12 students at an Ira College Foundation High School in Medan. The research instruments used were mathematical thinking tests, scales, and attitudes about high, medium, and low learning independence. Data was collected using questionnaires, tests, and interviews. This research shows that subjects with high learning independence can fulfill the creative thinking indicators of fluency, micro, and novelty aspects so they are classified as very creative. Subjects with learning independence are meeting the creative thinking indicators, aspects of fluency, and desire to be creative. Meanwhile, subjects with low learning independence only meet the creative thinking indicators for the fluency aspect and are therefore classified as less creative. These findings complement research related to the importance of independent learning in explaining variations in students' creative thinking abilities

Abstract

Finding a solution to a problem is called problem-solving, therefore learning mathematics means finding solutions to problems that arise in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to characterize students' aptitude in mathematical reasoning after completing a project related to Real Analysis. This study used descriptive techniques and was quantitative. Students' logical reasoning skills were revealed from the test results they obtained while answering questions designed based on indicators of mathematical thinking skills. Data analysis techniques used in this research include surveys, data visualization, and observation. Research on students' mathematical thinking skills showed findings with high, medium, and lesser categories.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam matematika adalah salah satu keterampilan berpikir kritis yang perlu dikembangkan siswa. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang rendah adalah hhasil dari data yang diambil, jadi diperlukan analisis masalah mengenai seberapa besar kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap materi statistika  terutama dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada soal statistika. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah kemampuan siswa dalam berfikir kritis pada materi statistika. Instrumen tes dan pedoman wawancara adalah beberapa instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini.. Dilihat dari kemampuan siswa, nilai rata-rata siswa berkualifikasi tinggi adalah 87,78. Nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 73,64. Selain itu, rata-rata siswa berprestasi rendah adalah 57,78. Respon siswa terhadap tes kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap statistika dikatakan efektif karena seluruh pernyataan mendapat ≥90% tanggapan positif dari siswa. Salah satu responden memberikan penilaian yang sangat memuaskan di setiap opsi pertanyaan matematika. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari 20 responden mendapatkan hasil yang baik mengingat banyaknya responden yang memilih opsi Setuju dan Sangat Setuju terhadap pernyataan – pernyataan yang diajukan.

Abstract

Kemampuan seorang guru dalam mengajukan pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan Kehidupan sehari-hari  di kelas sangatlah penting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis keterampilan pemodelan matematis siswa ketika mengerjakan tugas matematika terkait situasi.Pembelajaran ini dianggap penting.Sebab, syarat belajarnya mengharuskan Anda memiliki kemampuan berhitung yang baik, serta mampu menerapkan matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Oleh karena itu, keterampilan pemodelan matematika penting bagi siswa sebagai jembatan antara masalah matematika dengan dunia nyata.. menjadi Peneliti mendapat alat berupa soal matematis kontekstual, setelah itu peneliti menganalisis hasil penelitian dan melakukan wawancara terkini mengenai hasil kerja alat tersebut.Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemodelan matematis siswa berbeda-beda, terlepas dari apakah mereka mempunyai kemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang, atau rendah.Masih terdapat siswa yang tidak membangun model matematika karena kurang memahami permasalahan.Bahkan ketika siswa memodelkan gambar membuat banyak variasi, namun sebagian besar siswa masih mempunyai ketelitian yang rendah dalam memodelkan gambar sesuai tugas yang diberikan.Sebagian besar siswa masih kurang pengetahuannya tentang pemodelan matematika.
