Abstract

An important aspect in education is the teacher and the student. Teachers have a duty in teaching and students have obligations in learning. In the learning process, it is necessary to apply the strategies used by the teacher so that students can understand the material presented. One of the strategies used is learning media. Besides, helping in increasing the understanding of students, learning media also helps in improving the critical thinking skills and creativity of vocational students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of learning media to improve the critical thinking skills and creativity of vocational students. The research method is qualitative. The data collection technique is carried out by literature study, namely data collection by reviewing books, literature, notes, and various related reports. Then, the data analysis is done by Miles and Huberman analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results obtained show that the development of learning media is important to improve the critical thinking skills and creativity of vocational students. Simulations, games, and projects are effective solutions for practicing these skills, with simulations providing real experiences, games increasing student interest, and projects allowing students to collaborate on solving complex tasks. Learning media must also be by the interests and needs of vocational students and use relevant technology. Thus, the development of learning media is a critical step in preparing vocational students to face complex future challenges.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to evaluate the feasibility of "Alin Gesit," a Google Sites-based learning media for online accounting computer courses. Using the ADDIE method, we analyzed student and teacher needs, designed and developed the media, and assessed it through expert evaluations and student-teacher feedback. The study involved twelfth-grade accounting students from a vocational school in East Java. Results showed that "Alin Gesit" scored 84% from media experts and 94% from material experts. A paired T-test (p=0.003) confirmed significant improvement in student scores. Additionally, students rated the media highly (3,7), indicating its effectiveness. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan "Alin Gesit", media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites untuk kursus komputer akuntansi online. Dengan menggunakan metode ADDIE, kami menganalisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru, merancang dan mengembangkan media, dan menilainya melalui evaluasi ahli dan umpan balik siswa-guru. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa akuntansi kelas dua belas dari sebuah sekolah kejuruan di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa "Alin Gesit" memperoleh nilai 84% dari ahli media dan 94% dari ahli materi. Uji-T berpasangan (p=0,003) mengkonfirmasi peningkatan signifikan dalam nilai siswa. Selain itu, siswa menilai media tersebut dengan tinggi (3,7), yang menunjukkan keefektifannya.

Abstract

Background: Purple sweet potato productivity in Indonesia is notably high, particularly in Bondowoso at 213.84 quintals/ha. This variant of sweet potato is rich in beta-carotene, with a content of 4237 µg/100 g, known for its ability to protect cells from free radicals and reduce the risk of diabetes mellitus. Notably, Indonesia ranks third globally in the prevalence of prediabetes, affecting 27.7 million people. In 2022, in Tapen District, Bondowoso, the prevalence of prediabetes, based on Tapen Health Center data, was recorded at 12.36%. Objectives: Analyzing betacarotene, total sugar, and organoleptic propeties of purple sweet potato jam as a prediabetes distraction food. Methods: A quasi-experimental design with a post-test-only control group was employed. The research involved producing purple sweet potato jam with varying ratios of cassava sugar and purple sweet potato (X0: 0% cassava sugar; 100% purple sweet potato; X1: 15% cassava sugar; 85% purple sweet potato; X2: 30% cassava sugar; 70% purple sweet potato; X3: 45% cassava sugar; 55% purple sweet potato). Analysis included determining betacarotene content using the UV-Visible Spectrophotometry method, total sugar using the Luff Schoorl method, and organoleptic evaluation through the hedonic test method. Data were subjected to statistical analysis using the One-Way ANOVA test for betacarotene and total sugar levels, followed by Duncan's post-hoc test. Organoleptic test data were analyzed using the Kruskall Wallis test and Dunn's post-hoc test. Results: The average betacarotene content in treatments X0, X1, X2, and X3 were 4230.3 µg/100 g; 3464 µg/100 g; 2955.6 µg/100 g; and 2257.3 µg/100 g, respectively. Total sugar content averages for treatments X0, X1, X2, and X3 were 2.2%; 13.7%; 27.5%; and 39.2%, respectively. The panelists' preference indicated that sample X3 (45% cassava sugar and 55% purple sweet potato) was the most favored jam. Conclusions: Significant differences were observed in beta-carotene, total sugar, and organoleptic levels of purple sweet potato jam, suggesting that the variation in purple sweet potato and cassava sugar ratios influenced the beta-carotene and total sugar levels in the jam.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi di era modern ini, penguasaan keterampilan abad ke-21 menjadi sangat penting, seperti berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, kolaborasi, serta kreativitas dan inovasi. Keterampilan ini diakui sebagai elemen kunci untuk menciptakan lulusan perguruan tinggi yang siap menghadapi tantangan global. Masalah ini sejalan dengan kebutuhan pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, yang mencakup critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, dan creativity and innovation. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan pengembangan kurikulum yang berfokus pada persiapan masa depan dan kebutuhan industri di abad ke-21. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut adalah discovery learning, yang mendorong pemikiran kritis, kreativitas, dan pemecahan masalah. Namun, terdapat kendala, seperti waktu pelaksanaan dan keterbatasan teknologi, yang harus diperhatikan. Dalam konteks pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK, penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan model pembelajaran daring berbasis discovery learning yang dapat mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode R&D (Research and Development) untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi produk pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan SMK.

Abstract

Saat ini pendidikan harus berintegrasi dengan dengan teknologi, pendidik pun diharapkan juga dapat berbagi praktik baik dengan sesama pendidik di nusantara, agar kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia semakin maju dan berkembang, Oleh karena itu guru diharapkan aktif dan terus mengupdate informasi, agar dapat terus berkembang seiring perkembangan zaman. Tujuan[RF1] [A2]  dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan dari penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar bagi Guru SMKN 2 Jiwan di Era digital.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif,yang memiliki karakteristik sebagai berikut: dilakukan dalam konteks alamiah, penelitian langsung berinteraksi dengan sumber data. Teknik Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dan pengisian angket. Populasi dan Sample adalah Guru SMKN 2 Jiwan Madiun. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa Platform merdeka mengajar merupakan wadah yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi, inovasi, dan kreatifitas guru khususnya di SMN 2 Jiwan. Sebab, di dalam platform merdeka mengajar telah disediakan beragam fitur yang dapat membantu guru dalam mendapatkan referensi, inspirasi, dan pemahaman tentang kurikulum merdeka. Dimana semakin guru mempelajarinya, semakin banyak ilmu dan keterampilan yang didapatkan. Oleh sebab itu, peningkatan kualitas guru dapat dilakukan dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan platform merdeka mengajar. PMM efektif dalam peningkatan komptensi guru, disebut efektif karena guru dapat dengan mudah memperoleh berbagai informasi terkini tentang pendidikan, dengan membuka aplikasi yang ada di smartphone masing-masing. Guru pun dapat berbagi informasi , saling menginspirasi melalui video inspirasi. Abstract

Critical thinking and creative thinking are the main components and important components related to 21st-century skills. Technology is currently very advanced in learning media, so learning is becoming easier and less boring for students. This is supported by global demands that force the education sector to align technical progress with efforts to improve educational standards. One of the sciences and technologies that can be utilized is interactive learning media based on Google Sites. This research was conducted to see the increase in students' ability to think critically and creatively after using Google Sites as a learning media. The research was conducted at the Accounting Department Vocational School in Madiun Regency and Madiun City, East Java. Data collection was carried out by observing critical and creative thinking skills in class, as well as filling out a questionnaire about Google site-based learning media. The research results show that using Google Sites as a learning media for students can improve students' critical and creative thinking abilities. Students' assessments of Google Sites learning media meet the criteria of being very eligible in all aspects. Google Sites can help teachers provide learning resources for students that will help them understand their lessons and activities better.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a detailed description of the Special Job Market (BKK) management in facilitating the placement of vocational high school (SMK) graduates into the workforce.The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach.The study was conducted at SMKN 2 Jiwan, Madiun Regency. Data were collected through a series of methods,including interviews, observations, and document analysis.The management of the Special Job Market (BKK) at SMKN 2 Jiwan is carried out in four stages: planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling.In the planning stage, the steps taken include surveys of relevant business and industry partners, coordination meetings with the BKK team, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the vocational school (SMK) and business partners, as well as the implementation of career guidance and alumni tracking.The organizing stage involves the coordination of BKK administrators in collaboration with the Vice Principal for Public Relations.The implementation stage encompasses the signing of the MoU,the execution of workforce recruitment processes, career guidance related to recruitment, and the execution of alumni tracking (tracer istudy).The final stage is controlling, involving monitoring and auditing, both internally and externally. The results of the control demonstrate that the BKK has been operating optimally, although there are still some aspects that need improvement for future programs. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi terperinci mengenai manajemen Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK) dalam memfasilitasi penyaluran lulusan SMK ke dunia kerja. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ni adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN 2 Jiwan, Kabupaten Madiun. Data dikumpulkan melalui serangkaian metode, termasuk wawancara, observasi, serta analisis dokumen. Manajemen Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK) di SMKN 2 Jiwan dijalankan melalui empat tahapan: merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, melaksanakan,dan mengendalikan.Pada tahap merencanakan, langkah-langkah yang dilakukan yaitu survei terhadap berbagai IDUKA yang relevan,rapat koordinasi dengan tim BKK, penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding antara SMK dan IDUKA, serta pelaksanaan pembimbingan karir dan penelusuran lulusan.Tahap pengorganisasian melibatkan pengurus BKK dengan berkoordinasi Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Humas.Tahap melaksanakan mencakup penandatanganan MoU, pelaksanaan proses rekrutmen tenaga kerja, bimbingan karir terkait rekrutmen,dan pelaksanaan penelusuran lulusan (tracer study).Tahap akhir adalah mengendalikan, mengawasi dan mengaudit, baik secara nternal maupun eksternal. Abstract

High workloads, the complexity of nursing tasks, declining care quality, increased risk of medical errors, and reduced patient satisfaction are persistent challenges in hospitals that require strategic solutions.  Work values may serve as motivational factors that encourage nurses to perform optimally, particularly under stressful conditions. This study aimed to analyze the effect of workload on nurse performance in delivering nursing care in low-care inpatient units, by considering work value as a potential moderating variable. This observational analytical study used a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 195 nurses using proportional cluster random sampling based on unit assignment. Instruments included a demographic questionnaire, NASA-TLX to assess workload, an adapted career value scale to evaluate work values, and a nurse performance questionnaire developed from nursing practice standards. Data collection was conducted via Google Forms, and Partial Least Squares (PLS) moderation analysis was used to examine the relationships between variables. The results showed that most nurses experienced a moderate workload (49.7%) and demonstrated sufficient performance (78.5%). The highest contributing work value dimensions were intrinsic value and the competence sub-dimension. Workload and work value had a significant direct effect on nurse performance, but work value did not moderate the relationship between workload and performance. In conclusion, increased workload and stronger work values are associated with improved nurse performance.

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran kognitif siswa pada materi akuntansi keuangan, dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan teknik Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) terhadap siswa kelas XI di SMKN 2 Jiwan. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang terdiri dari dua siklus dan melibatkan tiga puluh siswa. Format penilaian digunakan untuk mengukur perkembangan yang telah dicapai siswa dalam pembelajarannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kedua pendekatan tersebut berhasil, terbukti dari fakta bahwa tingkat penyelesaian pembelajaran siswa meningkat secara signifikan dari 57% pada siklus pertama menjadi 77% pada siklus kedua.

Abstract

Pada penelitian yang di ulas ini bertujuan guna membentuk peningkatan hasil belajar pada peserta didik pada pembelajaran kognitif mata pelajarn akutansi. Dasar materi jurnal penyesuaian melalui implementasi media pembelajaran dengan berbasis Google Sites. Permasalahan utama yang ditemukan adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang bersifat abstrak akibat penggunaan media pembelajaran yang konvensional dan kurang interaktif. Pada tahap metode ini penelitian yang di ulas menggunakan (PTK) dengan melaksanakan 2 siklus yaitu tahapan perencanaan kemudian pelaksanaan, dilanjutkan observasi, dan refleksi. Pada penelitian kali ini subjek yang di ambil dari 28 siswa kelas X AKN 5 SMKN 2 Jiwan. Pada tahapan berikutnya peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Pada siklus pertama , media pembelajaran yang dinamai Sitesuai diimplementasikan dan  menunjukkan hasil peningkatan nilai rata-rata 75,53 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 67,85%, meskipun belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada media, hasil siklus kedua menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan nilai rata-rata 89,82 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 89,28%. Pada hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Google Sites yang interaktif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi akuntansi, mendorong keterlibatan aktif, serta menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pemanfaatan teknologi digital berbasis kebutuhan peserta didik sebagai strategi pembelajaran efektif dalam konteks pendidikan vokasi.
