Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Capital Adequacy Ratio against Return on Assets. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with an associative approach. The population and sample in this study are the financial statements of conventional commercial banks for the 2015-2019 period. In this study sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are secondary data. Data analysis techniques used are the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that Third Party Funds had  no effect on ROA. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA) partially on banks that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Return on Assets is influenced by the Capital Adequacy Ratio of 41.3%. and 58.7% were influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mechanism of precious metal discount policy and what efforts have been made by PT. Pegadaian UPC Cibadak in increasing sales of precious metals. In the preparation of this study, the object of research researched by the author is discounts on the sale of precious metals at PT. Pawnshop UPC Cibadak. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods and descriptive approaches. The results showed that sales and revenue of precious metals increased during the discount period, in early January 2022 PT. Pegadaian UPC Cibadak sells precious metal products measuring 25 grams with sales revenue of Rp. 23,497,000, - and the most sales in September PT. UPC Cibadak pawnshop sold 201 grams and sales revenue of Rp. 160,720,000,-. This has a positive impact on PT. Pawnshop UPC Cibadak.

Abstract

The banking industry has a role to support the economy which can be done through collecting funds and channeling it back in the form of credit, so that the bank is tasked with being a financial intermediary that connects existing funds from economic units with excess funds to economic units that need financial assistance (deficit), whether it's for working capital, investment and consumption (Effendi 2020). This study aims to find out whether the credit distribution system implemented by PT BPR Supra Artapersada at the Operational Head Office is based on procedures. Use of Qualitative Description as a method in this study, the data used is by collecting data from research objects and analyzing procedures and credit distribution systems. The research data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research show that credit distribution processes are carried out in various stages of the procedure, namely: the credit application stage, the interview stage, data analysis, debtor visits, collateral assessment, credit analysis, credit decisions, credit binding, and credit disbursement. By having an in-depth understanding of this process and the factors that influence it, we can identify areas for improvement and implement relevant measures to enhance the success of the credit distribution system.

Abstract

In the current modern economic era, public awareness of long-term financial planning is increasing, including in terms of investment. Investment is the desire to utilize some of the existing funds or resources to make a profit in the future. However, when investing, there are still many investors who act irrationally and become victims of illegal investments. Therefore, it is important to understand the factors that influence investment decisions, especially among Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and financial inclusion on investment decisions in Generation Z in West Java. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collected through questionnaires. The research sample consisted of 146 Generation Z respondents in West Java, selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression using SPSS version 27 software. The results of this study show that partially financial literacy has a significant effect on the investment decisions of generation z in West Java; Financial inclusion has a significant effect on the investment decisions of generation z in West Java. Then simultaneously financial literacy and financial inclusion have a significant effect on the investment decisions of generation z in West Java. The determination coefficient in this study was 36.3% and the remaining 63.7% was influenced by other factors that were not studied in this study.

Abstract

The webinar on the role of the retail community in increasing national economic resilience during the pandemic is one solution to the problems faced by the retail industry and the wider community, namely the lack of understanding regarding the strategies that must be taken to survive during the pandemic. The purpose of this activity is to increase understanding of the strategies implemented by the retail community in contributing to national resilience during the pandemic. The method of implementing this activity is a webinar for students, retail communities, high school students in Sukabumi City, and the general public. Partners in this webinar activity are the retail management study program, the Dikumindag of Sukabumi City, and the Cooperatives and SMEs Office of Sukabumi Regency. The evaluation was carried out by giving questionnaires to webinar participants before and after delivering the material, and the result was that the comprehension ability of the participants increased by 38.14%.

Abstract

The webinar on the role of the retail industry in national economic growth is one solution to the problems faced by the retail industry and the wider community, namely the lack of strategies implemented by the retail industry to increase economic resilience during the pandemic. The purpose of this activity is to increase understanding of the role of the retail industry in economic growth. The evaluation was carried out by giving questionnaires to webinar participants before and after delivering the material, and the result was that participants' comprehension ability increased by 38.14%.

Abstract

If the goal is achieved well, the performance is declared a success. Overall, effective digital leadership, strong competencies, and a good work environment interact and influence each other to improve employee performance. However, many businesses, especially those related to freight forwarding services, face performance problems such as lack of knowledge about digital information technology, poor work environment, high turnover, and low discipline. All these problems disrupt company operations and performance. Therefore, this research aims to see how the performance of JNE Sukabumi branch employees is influenced by digital leadership, employee abilities and the work environment. It is hoped that this research will offer a new perspective on how to improve company performance and competitiveness in the technological era. This study utilizes a quantitative research model. In this research, probability sampling is used to collect data by distributing questionnaires and company data. The study's findings indicate that work environment, competency, and digital leadership all positively and significantly impact employee performance. Additionally, competency, work environment, and digital leadership all positively and significantly impact employee performance when taken together.

Abstract

A smart village concept can be used as a solution to overcome various problems that occur in the administration of village governance. The purpose of this research is to build a smart village system and find out the benefits of this system. The type of research in this research is descriptive qualitative and the data collection method used in this research is interviews and field observations. From interviews and field observations, demographic data and village economic potential were obtained. The result of this research is the establishment of a smart village model system to improve service quality. Several village problems have been resolved by the Berekah village government, namely up-to-date village demographic data, community economic potential, and other types of services. With this smart village application, the community is well served, without having to wait in long and long queues. The novelty of this smart village model is that it is easy for the community to make population files and other services, as well as demographic data and community economic potential that can be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the MSME sister business model related to production, marketing, and quality control. This MSME sister business model begins with conducting field observations first, to get Pioneer MSMEs and Assisted MSMEs. Business model innovation is a very important foundation for MSME players. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach with interview methods and field observations of 4 Pioneer MSMEs and 50 Assisted MSMEs. From the results of field observation, 4 Pioneer MSMEs were obtained, namely food, mushroom cultivation, bamboo handcraft, wooden handcraft, and 50 Assisted MSMEs. After that, the equalization of perceptions regarding the MSME sister business model was carried out, training, workshops, and then business cooperation (matching business) was carried out. The contribution of this research is the resolution of the problems faced by MSMEs so far, especially the pros. The plan is to form Pioneer MSMEs and other Assisted MSMEs, to produce better economic growth in Sukabumi Regency in particular and Indonesia in general.

Abstract

Purpose – This research was conducted at the Office of Youth and Sports, Tourism and Creative Economy (Disporapar). The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of leadership dan motivation on the performance of employees of the Youth and Sports, Tourism and Creative Economy Services (Disporapar). Methodology/approach – The population in this study was 43 people from the Youth and Sports, Tourism, and Creative Economy Service (Disporapar). The method of determining samples in this study used saturated or census samples. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression method. Findings – The findings demonstrated that motivation and leadership have a favorable impact on worker performance. Leadership and motivation had a 60.1% impact on staff performance, while other factors had a 39.9% impact. And the dominant variable that affects employee performance is the leadership variable, it can be concluded that the leadership in the Youth and Sports, Tourism, and Creative Economy Service (Disporapar) has been good in influencing employee performance. Novelty/value – This research discusses theories about human resources and contributes to expanding the literature on leadership, organizational culture, and employee performance from the organizational context.
