Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of the pesantrenpreneur in Islamic boarding school Ummul Ayman Pidie Jaya Aceh in producing students to have a good entrepreneurial spirit. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This study's data were collected through in-depth interviews with informants and then matched the research results through interviews with documentary evidence that the authors had collected and processed it with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that it is necessary to develop an entrepreneurial interest in students to explore their potential, where apart from prayer is also accompanied by effort. With the increasing interest in entrepreneurship and getting to know market segmentation and also how to deal with consumers who have various behaviors, their creativity will emerge, which will have an impact on increasing the economic value of raw material products which may be developed in the form of semi-finished or even processed products. Ready for consumption, considering the high demand for this commodity will directly result in an increased trade surplus and a relatively good economic outlook. Besides, students also have businesses and become entrepreneurs so that they can become financially independent. Support from the local, regional government is also needed to run well and sustainably, which will impact the regional economy.

Abstract

Islamic law has been stipulated by Allah is for human advantage, both in worldly life and in the hereafter. In order to prove that Islamic economics remains relevant whenever and wherever the objectives of maqashid shariah is needed to be implemented for creating innovative products. By doing so, shariah financial institutions are able to compete with the conventional, and at the same time they stay true to Islamic teaching principles. This article aims firstly to examine the concept of maqashid shariah on new product development of Islamic financial institution, and secondly to explore the suitability of shariah banking product with the principles of maqashid shariah. In nature, the purpose of the implementation of Shariah transactional system is for seeking human benefit both in this life and hereafter. Hence, the concept of maqashid shariah should be able to be integrated into Shari’ah banking so that its products can be hopefully broader. In short, through maqashid shariah, it creates innovative products of shariah financial institutions. Keyword: Maqashid Shariah, Islamic Financial, Islamic Banking. Abstrak Setiap hukum yang ditetapkan Allah kepada ummatnya terdapat kemashlahatan baik didunia maupun di akhirat, untuk menjawab bahwa ekonomi Islam sesuai dengan kondisi zaman maka maqashid syariah sangat diperlukan untuk menciptakan produk yang inovatif sehingga lembaga keuangan syariah bisa bersaing dengan produk lembaga keuangan konvensional dan tidak bertentangan dengan prisnsip-prinsip Islam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep maqashid syariah dalam pengembangan produk lembaga keuangan islam, secara khusus, artikel ini juga melihat kesesuaian produk yang ditawarkan oleh perbankan syariah agar sesuai dengan konsep yang telah dituangkan dalam maqashid syariah, karena pada hakikatnya melakukan transaksi dengan sistem syariah bukan saja mencari keuntungan di dunia saja, namun juga untuk mencapai maslahah dunia akhirat, oleh karena itu, konsep maqashid syariah harus mampu di integrasikan kedalam perbankan syariah agar produk yang dihasilkan tidak kaku dan sempit sehingga terhambat terhadap perkembangan lembaga keuangan syariah. harapannya, dengan memahami konsep maqashid syariah maka diharapkan bisa menciptakan produk-produk inovatif di lembaga keuangan syariah. Abstract

This study aims to find out the roles of Dayah as an Islamic educational institution in providing understanding and awareness for Acehnese regarding the implementation of Islamic law in Aceh. This study uses a qualitative research method with a multi-case study approach. The locus of research is three Islamic boarding schools (dayah) in Aceh with three different models. Data was taken from documentation and in-depth interviews with students and teachers at related institutions. The sampling technique used a combination of purposive and snowball techniques. Data collection uses in-depth interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman. Triangulation techniques are used to ensure the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that dayah education has at least two main roles. First, the role of creating a society that can accept Islamic law properly. Second, the role of forming a government that can create Islamic Sharia regulations that follow the culture of the Acehnese. For public education, this can be channeled by transferring understanding from teungku dayah to teungku imum through the Aceh government as an intermediary. Dayah alumni can also help in terms of the role of public education with da'wah via behavior, speech, and writing. Practically, the dayah teacher plays a role in implementing Islamic law in four roles: teacher, practitioner of sharia, observer, and mentor. In conclusion, Islamic education in Aceh has two key roles: shaping society to follow Islamic law and adapting Sharia regulations to Acehnese culture. Recommendations include seeking guidance from qualified clerics, and stakeholders should prioritize their roles in achieving this. Future research on Aceh's Islamic law should consider local socio-religious and socio-cultural factors.

Abstract

This evaluation study aims to determine the quality and output of the Private Program for Reading Al-Quran using the Iqra Method to eliminate illiteracy in Reading Al-Quran for Santri at Dayah Ummul Ayman Aceh. The method used in descriptive quantitative research. The data taken is primary data. The data source comes from questionnaires filled out by research subjects. This research is evaluation research using the Quality Evaluation Model and Learning Output, better known as the EKOP Model. This research was conducted at the Private Program for Reading Al-Quran using the Iqra Method at Dayah Ummul Ayman, Putoh Village, Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province in June 2023 with a sample of 45 santri (N = 45). Data collection using tests and questionnaires. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical techniques using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The results of the study found that the quality of learning in the private program of reading Al-Quran with the Iqra method at Dayah Ummul Ayman had gone well. However, Learning Facilities are still in the Adequate category. The Learning Output in the Private Program Reading Al-Quran with the Iqra Method at Dayah Ummul Ayman in terms of Academic Proficiency has achieved a fairly high score. However, the Learning Output on the Personal and Social Proficiency indicators is still in the Adequate category. The recommendations for improvement given are to improve learning facilities better. In addition, learning output in the context of personal skills and social skills must also be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the synergy between Fintech and Islamic banking can expand inclusive financial access in Indonesia. Through a literature review, this research identifies the role of Fintech in digital finance based on Islamic principles and the integration of the economic ecosystem. The findings indicate that the synergy between these two sectors holds significant potential for enhancing financial inclusion. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including regulations that have not fully accommodated innovation and the need for improved digital financial literacy. The study concludes that the synergy between Fintech and Islamic banking is a strategic step towards achieving inclusive financial goals in Indonesia, but it requires support from various stakeholders to overcome the existing challenges.

Abstract

Sustainable investment and green finance have rapidly become prominent topics in the global financial landscape, with significant attention given to the environmental and social impacts of investment activities. In the context of Islamic economics, these concepts not only encompass economic benefits but also emphasize moral, ethical, and societal well-being. This article aims to explore the integration of sustainable investment, green finance, and Islamic economic principles, along with examples of countries that have successfully implemented these practices. The study also identifies existing challenges and opportunities, as well as their impact on sustainable development in Muslim-majority countries. Furthermore, this article highlights the role of Islamic financial institutions in supporting green investments and examines financial instruments that align with Shariah principles, such as green sukuk and productive waqf. By understanding the interaction between green finance and Islamic economics, it is expected that innovative strategies will emerge to enhance the financial sector's contribution to global sustainability

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kharismatik memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun kepercayaan dan semangat kolektif, terutama di lingkungan daerah atau lembaga pendidikan Islam. dalam perspektif Al-Quran, pemimpin ideal adalah sosok yang jujur, adil, dan bijaksana, serta mampu menjalankan amanah dengan prinsip musyawarah dan keadilan. Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk memahami konsep kepemimpinan kharismatik berdasarkan perspektif Al-Quran sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam Tafsir Al-Mishbah karya Quraish Shihab. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai kepemimpinan yang relevan dengan konteks pendidikan Islam dan pembangunan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan menganalisis Tafsir Al-Misbah karya Quraish Shihab sebagai data primer dan buku serta jurnal terkait sebagai data sekunder. Analisis teks dan interpretatif diterapkan untuk memahami konsep kepemimpinan kharismatik dalam Al-Quran dan membandingkannya dengan pandangan ulama lain. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan 98 artikel yang disaring menggunakan model prisma dan dianalisis lebih dalam tentang kepemimpinan kharismatik berdasarkan al-quran perspektif tafsir al-misbah karya quraish shihab dengan menelaah berbagai jurnal bereputasi dan tafsir tafsir al-misbah hingga jilid 15. Penelitian  ini  menunjukkan  hasil  bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dalam Al-Quran berdasarkan tafsir Al-Misbah dan relevansinya dengan teori kepemimpinan modern. Al-quran menekankan kepemimpinan yang amanah, adil, dan berdasarkan musyawarah (Surah An-Nisa, 4:58; Surah Ash-Shura, 42:38), yang sejalan dengan kepemimpinan transformasional dan partisipatif. tafsir Al-Misbah menekankan pentingnya pemimpin yang tidak hanya kompeten secara administratif, tetapi juga memiliki nilai moral dan spiritual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan dalam Al-Quran relevan untuk diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan islam, guna menciptakan pemimpin yang efektif dan berintegritas. Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh kepemimpinan kharismatik terhadap peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat di berbagai sektor, seperti pendidikan, ekonomi, dan sosial. Fokus penelitian ini dapat memperdalam pemahaman mengenai mekanisme kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam menciptakan perubahan positif yang berkelanjutan.
