Abstract

This study investigates the impact of parental financial socialization on the financial behaviors and attitudes of emerging adults, considering both parental and child perspectives. It examines direct teaching, role modeling, and the quality of financial relationships in shaping financial outcomes. Using a quantitative purposive sampling method, data were collected from 524 participants through structured questionnaires assessing parental financial teaching, attitudes, and behaviors. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze these relationships. Findings reveal that parental direct teaching and role modeling significantly influence emerging adults' financial attitudes and behaviors. A positive financial relationship between parents and children enhances financial socialization practices. Emerging adults reporting higher levels of parental guidance and role modeling exhibit better financial behaviors and more responsible attitudes. The study also identifies significant mediating effects of financial attitudes on the relationship between parental socialization practices and behaviors. This research highlights the dual influence of parental teaching and role modeling on young adults' financial outcomes and underscores the importance of supportive financial relationships. It offers insights into the mechanisms through which parental behaviors shape financial competence, providing a foundation for targeted financial education programs and policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of family control on the likelihood of paying dividends with cash flow uncertainty as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study analyzed the data by using Logistic Regression and the sample by a purposive sampling in the sampling method. The results show that family firms have a lower probability of paying dividends than non-family firms. However, cash flow uncertainty only acts as a predictor variable and does not moderate the effect of family control on the likelihood of paying dividends. The implication is that family companies have a lower probability of paying dividends compared to non-family companies, so investors need to consider the type of company in selecting investments in the company.

Abstract

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria have gained significant importance in Indonesia's corporate landscape, driven by global trends and local initiatives. The Indonesian government’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 has accelerated the integration of ESG principles into business practices. This research aims to determine the influence of ESG performance on the capital structure of companies in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods, analysing the relationship between ESG scores and company funding decisions, especially those using debt versus internal funding sources. The findings suggest that companies with higher ESG performance tend to rely less on debt financing and prefer retained earnings and equity to support sustainable initiatives. Companies with strong ESG practices exhibit lower environmental risks, healthier financial reports and better credit ratings, reducing funding costs. The study concludes that integrating ESG factors into corporate financing will reduce the risks associated with high debt levels and be in line with long-term value creation, improve corporate governance, and attract ESG-focused investments. This research contributes to the growing understanding of the impact of ESG on capital structure decisions in Indonesia by highlighting its role in creating a sustainable and resilient business environment.

Abstract

Objective: This study evaluates internationally accredited study programs through a learning quality audit to ensure the sustainability of educational quality. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, collecting data through This study employs an audit method using the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, and product). Several stages carried out in the evaluation include Preparing the Evaluation Plan, Verifying Data, Processing and Analyzing Data, Providing Interpretation, and Drawing Conclusions.  Results: The results indicate variations in compliance among study programs, where programs that have been accredited show better performance but still face challenges in curriculum restructuring, academic documentation, and international collaboration. Meanwhile, study programs that are in the process of accreditation have greater weaknesses, particularly related to evidence-based accreditation and follow-up mechanisms. This audit emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement, strengthening internationalization, and systematic documentation. Novelty: This research refers to two international accreditation monitoring simultaneously, namely AQAS and Acquin.
