Abstract

Abstract This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of Motivation, Transformational Leadership and Service Quality towards Satisfaction and Professional Commitment of Minor Seminary’ Students of  St. Vincentius A Paulo at Blitar. The population of this research is Minor Seminary’ Students of St. Vincentius A Paulo at Blitar. The research sampling method used census method. The instrument of this research was questioners. The data were collected from the questioners which were distributed to 115 students at Minor Seminary of St. Vincentius A Paulo at Blitar, tested by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Motivation measured by three indicators (ERG theory) which introduced by Alderfer (Gibson et al., 2006:94). Transformational Leadership measured by four indicators which introduced by Robin and Judge (2011: 391). Service Quality based on Lovelock & Wright (2002: 266: 267); Satisfaction based on Westbrook and Oliver (1991); Professional Commitment based on Kalbers and Fogarty (1995).In measuring the data, this research used Likert Scale, while in measuring the validity and reliability, this research was used validity and reliability test based on Crombach’s Alpha to the internal consistence by using SPSS program version 22 with Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) version 23. The model of relationship between the variables studied shown that Motivation, Transformational Leadership and Service Quality have significant influence to Satisfaction and Professional Commitment of Minor Seminary’ Students of St. Vincentius A Paulo at Blitar.Based on the result of this research,  Rector of Minor Seminary of  St. Vincentius A Paulo at Blitar suggested to give comprehensive attention to the variables that influenced Professional Commitment: Motivation, Transformational Leadership, Service Quality, Satisfaction of Minor Seminary’ Students of  St. Vincentius A Paulo at Blitar.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan abdimas ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan penguatan kemampuan pengurus lembaga swadaya masyarakat (LSM) BIINMAFO dalam menjalankan perilaku pemimpin yang transformasional dan meningkatkan keterikatan para anggotanya pada organisasi. BIINMAFO merupakan singkatan dari Biboki, Insana, dan Meomafo. Ketiganya merupakan kerajaan kecil di kabupaten Timur, Tengah dan Utara (TTU). LSM ini beranggotakan warga Flores, Sumba, Timor, dan Alor yang menjadi karyawan migran di Surabaya. Kepemimpinan transformasional dan keterikatan pada organisasi merupakan faktor penting suatu organisasi agar bisa bertahan bahkan berkembang di era globalisasi. Dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan tata laksana organisasi dan kepemimpinan yang dihadapi pengurus BIINMAFO, kegiatan abdimas ini diselenggarakan. Prioritas pelatihan ini diberikan kepada para pengurus inti BIINMAFO. Melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan  para  peserta latih beroleh pencerahan, pemahaman dan peneguhan tentang arti penting peningkatan penguatan kemampuan kepemimpinan transformasional dan membangun keterikatan anggotanya pada organisasi

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the level of competition for Small and Medium Enterprises is getting tighter, exacerbated by the severe situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, making it difficult for MSMEs to market the products they produce. CED UKWMS 2023 is a form of community activity held in Puhsarang Kediri aimed at increasing the capabilities of MSME partners to grow and develop. The CED will be conducted on July 20-28, 2023, involving 27 participants from 3 countries: the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The series of activities carried out at CED in the form of service learning projects focus on product development activities and online markets. The output produced from is in the form of packaging prototype designs, logo designs, stickers, banners. In addition, the output of digital marketing development is in the form of creating social media accounts such as Instagram as a marketing medium for MSME products. In general, CED this time has provided solutions to the problems of MSME partners related to product development and online/digital markets.

Abstract

Catholics youth are the candles of hope and the future sustainability of the Catholic Church. Young people possess enthusiasm and creativity, but this needs to be accompanied by idealism for the progress and development of the Church. Young people are called to participate in the mission of building a better world through the tasks of the Church. However, in practice, many young people are found to prioritize their personal ego without concern for the future of the Church. Therefore, through this activity, it is hoped that young people will become aware of community life, fostering a sense of care that ultimately impacts a better social life. Activities for young people facilitated by the Catholics Youth Organization (OMK) serve as a means to express their faith while also training their leadership, solidarity, and responsibility. Therefore, young people need to be increasingly encouraged to actively engage in non-liturgical church activities.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to determine and evaluate the impact of person-job fit and internal service quality on job performance as assessed by work satisfaction. Staff from Surabaya's three-star hotels made up the sample for this study. There were 145 responses in the sample. The sampling approach used in this study was purposive. This survey's respondents were 17 years or older, had at least one year of work experience, and worked in Surabaya's three-star hotels. The core data for this study were gathered by giving questionnaires on printed questionnaire sheets. This study used Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS as its data analysis method. The results of the study prove that person-job fit significantly influences job satisfaction, internal service quality significantly influences job satisfaction, job satisfaction significantly influences job performance, person-job fit significantly influences job performance through job satisfaction, and internal service quality significantly influences job performance through job satisfaction. Abstract

The agricultural industry is critical to human life, yet it is not comparable to small farmer’s income in Indonesia. The number of farmer households is decreasing, and the average age of farmers is increasing. The agricultural industry is no longer appealing to the younger generation due to a variety of issues experienced by Indonesian farmers. The majority of Indonesian farmers are small-scale, with little land and production. Farmers also face obstacles such as not having sufficient skills in agricultural business which results in low productivity and no added value to their production. This condition also causes them to have to deal with volatile prices from middlemen which are often not profitable for farmers. The Collective Marketing initiative was created to help agricultural enterprises become more lucrative by increasing the size of farmers' economies of scale, allowing them to enter a secure market with enough bargaining power. This study examines the economic and social impacts of Collective Marketing initiatives in Kopwan Srikandi, as well as in Koperasi Tani Kopi Prima Jaya and KTH Cibulao Hijau. This study also discusses the impact of the Collective Marketing initiative on sustainable development.

Abstract

The big challenge facing parents today is about educating their children. This is due to generational differences that give rise to different characteristics and habits in each generation. The purpose of this community service is to foster a new mindset in educating children and being able to develop alternative ways of educating children to be more effective. The target of this activity is family in the Church of St. Paulus Juanda, Sidoarjo, totaling 52 people. After participating in this activity, the participants finally understood collectively the problems they faced as parents who educating millennial children. This awareness is followed by the development of a mindset that moves responses to the problem of educating children's character. There are similarities in responses even though the problems faced are quite complex. After listening to the speaker's presentation, each family formulates concrete intentions according to the child's uniqueness.

Abstract

Puhsarang Village is one of the religious tourism destinations in Kediri District that has the uniqueness of inculturation (adaption of church values and culture) as well as a place for meditative encounters of religious people throughout the region. The pandemic has hit the existing tourism sector and resulted in a decrease in small business income around tourist attractions. Some of the businesses affected include souvenir shops, wood sculpture, food stalls, and ‘bumbu kacang’ peanut paste production. In an effort to support Puhsarang's economic potential, the community service team carried out two main activities, namely product improvement assistance and designing social media utilization and marketplace management for local businesses. Secondly, promoting the art of karawitan as a unique characteristic of the Puhsarang tourism village. The empowerment method is carried out collaboratively with the PALAR approach, starting from the process of discussing business problems to the stage of reflecting on the business going forward. The assistance provided by the CED Team is expected to be a forum to support Community Cultural Tourism through the participation of local communities in exploring the potential of religious tourism and cultural inculturation that characterizes Puhsarang and ultimately can foster economic stretching around the village of Puhsarang.

Abstract

Masalah pemutusan hubungan kerja karyawan pada perusahaan tekstil dan produk tekstil di Indonesia sedang menjadi topik diskusi pada beberapa bulan terakhir. Permasalahan tersebut menarik perhatian para pemerhati untuk mengevaluasi kinerja dan membuat estimasi tentang prospek kondisi industri tekstil pada masa depan. Kinerja keuangan perusahaan menjadi salah satu aspek penting yang patut dievaluasi untuk dijadikan pertimbangan dalam rangka pembuatan strategi perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini, 1) untuk mengetahui kemampuan rasio-rasio cash flow dalam membedakan kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang sehat dan tidak sehat; 2) untuk menidentifikasi variabel predictor yang memberikan kontribusi paling besar bagi perbedaan kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang sehat dan tidak sehat. Sampel yang dipilih sebanyak 40 perusahaan dimana 20 perusahaan terindikasi mengalami kesulitan keuangan dan 20 perusahaan dinilai dalam kondisi sehat. Data dikumpulkan dari laporan keuangan perusahaan selama tiga tahun yakni tahun 2017 sampai 2019. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis diskriminan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) rasio-rasio aliran kas mampu menjelaskan perbedaan kinerja antara perusahaan yang sehat dan tidak sehat; 2) variabel cash flow to adequacy ratio merupakan variabel predictor yang memberikan kontribusi paling tinggi bagi perbedaan antara perusahaan yang sehat dan tidak sehat.
