Abstract

The study examined the relationship between psychological capital and career success with job crafting as mediating variable. This research spread the questionnaire surveying a sample of 200 employees from hospitality industry. Result from partial least square that psychological capital was positively associated with both subjective and objective indicators of career success. Job crafting resulted in higher levels of career success. Together, the findings highlight the role psychological capital and job crafting to facilitate career success employees, consistent using both self-report and significant otther ratings of psychological capital.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the level of competition for Small and Medium Enterprises is getting tighter, exacerbated by the severe situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, making it difficult for MSMEs to market the products they produce. CED UKWMS 2023 is a form of community activity held in Puhsarang Kediri aimed at increasing the capabilities of MSME partners to grow and develop. The CED will be conducted on July 20-28, 2023, involving 27 participants from 3 countries: the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The series of activities carried out at CED in the form of service learning projects focus on product development activities and online markets. The output produced from is in the form of packaging prototype designs, logo designs, stickers, banners. In addition, the output of digital marketing development is in the form of creating social media accounts such as Instagram as a marketing medium for MSME products. In general, CED this time has provided solutions to the problems of MSME partners related to product development and online/digital markets.

Abstract

Turnover intention adalah fenomena yang menarik untuk diteliti karena memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek dalam sebuah organisasi. Dengan memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi turnover, organisasi dapat mengambil langkah-langkah proaktif untuk mengelola turnover dan meningkatkan kinerja serta keberlanjutan organisasi dalam jangka panjang. Psychological contract breach (pelanggaran kontrak psikologis) dan keamanan kerja adalah dua faktor yang sering dikaitkan dengan tingginya turnover intention dalam konteks organisasi. Ketika karyawan merasa kontrak psikologisnya dilanggar, hal ini dapat meningkatkan niat untuk berpindah kerja. Di sisi lain, keamanan kerja yang tinggi dapat memberikan rasa nyaman dan keyakinan bahwa mereka dapat mengandalkan pekerjaan mereka untuk jangka waktu yang lama. Studi ini menguji pengaruh psychological contract breach terhadap turnover intention. Studi ini juga menguji keamanan kerja karyawan sebagai pemoderasi pada hubungan psychological contract breach dan turnover intention. Data dikumpulkan dengan desain survei melalui distribusi kuesioner. Responden studi ini adalah 165 karyawan yang bekerja sebagai tenaga penjual dan tenaga pemasaran di berbagai industri di Surabaya. Pendistribusikan kuesioner dilakukan secara daring dengan menggunakan google form kepada karyawan yang berada pada lingkup jejaring sosial. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi hirarkikal. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa psychological contract breach berpengaruh postitif pada turnover intention dan keamanan kerja memoderasi hubungan antara psychological contract breach dan turnover intention. Pada akhir artikel ini dibahas keterbatasan dan saran penelitian serta implikasi praktis untuk organisasi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh motivasi utilitarian, motivasi hedonik, dan motivasi harga diri terhadap perilaku belanja online Gen Z melalui peran mediasi niat berbelanja dan dorongan belanja impulsif di platform e-commerce Shopee. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) untuk menganalisis data dari 364 responden Gen Z yang aktif menggunakan Shopee. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi utilitarian dan hedonik meningkatkan niat berbelanja, yang mengarah pada peningkatan perilaku belanja online. Selain itu, dorongan impulsif memainkan peran penting sebagai penghubung antara perilaku belanja online dan motivasi hedonik. Namun, motivasi harga diri lebih banyak memengaruhi perilaku belanja yang rasional daripada impulsif. Studi ini tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi teoritis untuk pengembangan literatur perilaku konsumen digital di Indonesia, tetapi juga memberikan wawasan praktis bagi pengelola e-commerce untuk merancang strategi pemasaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik konsumen Gen Z.

Abstract

Puhsarang Village is one of the religious tourism destinations in Kediri District that has the uniqueness of inculturation (adaption of church values and culture) as well as a place for meditative encounters of religious people throughout the region. The pandemic has hit the existing tourism sector and resulted in a decrease in small business income around tourist attractions. Some of the businesses affected include souvenir shops, wood sculpture, food stalls, and ‘bumbu kacang’ peanut paste production. In an effort to support Puhsarang's economic potential, the community service team carried out two main activities, namely product improvement assistance and designing social media utilization and marketplace management for local businesses. Secondly, promoting the art of karawitan as a unique characteristic of the Puhsarang tourism village. The empowerment method is carried out collaboratively with the PALAR approach, starting from the process of discussing business problems to the stage of reflecting on the business going forward. The assistance provided by the CED Team is expected to be a forum to support Community Cultural Tourism through the participation of local communities in exploring the potential of religious tourism and cultural inculturation that characterizes Puhsarang and ultimately can foster economic stretching around the village of Puhsarang.

Abstract

Customer reviews have transformed and created innovative ways for businesses to deliver their products. Their buying choices are often advised and guided by online reviews and it is a form of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) that today is an integral part of the online environment containing more information about a product or service experience. While shopping online, customers cannot physically see the product and it builds customer expectations which can lead to product returns. Therefore, this study will analyze the effect of review valence and review volume on product returns, using customer expectations as mediation. Data was collected through a survey of those who live in Indonesia and have considered returning products from the Erigo Online Store in several e-commerce sites. In addition, the relationship between each variable will be determined by using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). This research draws conclusions about the effect of online reviews on product returns. Thus, this research is expected to contribute to the field of consumer behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah menguji peran mediasi pada variabel job crafting pada generasi milenial. Karyawan generasi milenial di Surabaya menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini, total 130 karyawan. Menggunakan generasi milenial sebagai sampel dalam penelitian karena generasi milenial memiliki peran besar terkait kreativitas dan memberi sumbangsih ide untuk kemajuan organisasi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode incidental sampling, yaitu sampel yang akan diambil merupakan kebetulan. Data diolah menggunakan SEM-PLS dengan software SmartPLS 3.0.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan empowering leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job crafting, dan job crafting berpengaruh terhadap objective career success. Selanjutnya, empowering leadership berpengaruh terhadap objective career success. Sehingga job crafting berperan sebagai partial mediation pada pengaruh empowering leadership terhadap objective career success. Ini menunjukkan jika kegiatan crafting dalam perusahaan dapat tercipta agar karyawan mampu menemukan kesuksesan karir dalam dunia kerja. Dengan harapan generasi milenial mampu melakukan crafting setiap menjalankan pekerjaannya di bidang apapun itu. Kegiatan crafting perlu dilakukan di semua divisi agar perusahaan mampu mengikuti tuntutan jaman.
