Abstract

This study explores the metamorphosis of productive zakat through the integration of women empowerment in the Kampung Zakat (Zakat Village) program initiated by BAZNAS in Besole Village, Besuki District, Tulungagung Regency. Employing a qualitative approach based on interviews, observations, and documentation, the study reveals that productive zakat does not merely provide capital assistance, but also initiates a transformation process, economically, socially, and spiritually. Women, especially widows and members of low-income families, became empowered to support their households through small enterprises. More importantly, they were also encouraged to engage in daily giving practices (such as sadaqah subuh), which fostered spiritual growth and nurtures the transition from mustahik (zakat recipient) to muzakki (zakat contributor). This indicateed a metamorphosis from passive dependence to active contribution. The findings affirmed that productive zakat, when combined with structured empowerment and spiritual reinforcement, became an effective tool in realizing SDGs Goals 1 (No Poverty) and 5 (Gender Equality). This study contributes to the field of Islamic philanthropy and zakat management by proposing a contextual, replicable empowerment model that aligns with global development goals while offering practical implications for public policy and localized zakat distribution strategies

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun fakta dengan menyelidiki hubungan antara pembiayaan sektor ekonomi terhadap PDRB Jawa Timur,Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan data time series tahun 2010-2015 periode triwulanan dan mem-proxy-kan ke empat sektor utama lapangan kerja berdasarkan Nawacita, yaitu sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan, sektor pertambangan, sektor industri pengolahan, dan sektor konstruksi. Uji pengaruh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana dan berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 21.00. Hasil uji model pengaruh pembiayaan sektor ekonomi Nawacita oleh perbankan Syariah di Jawa Timur terhadap PDRB menunjukan bahwa tidak seluruh pembiayaan sektor ekonomi di Jawa Timur memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap PDRB Provinsi Jawa Timur secara umum. Sementara itu, hasil uji model pengaruh pembiayaan sektor ekonomi Nawacita secara sektor per sektor terhadap PDRB sektor ekonomi Nawacita mendapatkan hasil bahwa semua pembiayaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap PDRB sektor masing-masing, kecuali sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan yang berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan. Rendahnya tingkat pengaruh dan signifikansi pembiayaan sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan terhadap PDRB secara umum maupun PDRB sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan disebabkan karena rendahnya akses petani dalam mendapatkan pembiayaan oleh perbankan syariah, baik karena akses lokasi maupun petani sendiri yang belum bankable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis pengaruh investasi berupa sukuk korporasi terhadap PDB Indonesia dengan menggunakan data time series mulai tahun 2011-2017 periode triwulanan. Metode penilitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk membangun fakta dengan menyelidiki hubungan antara investasi sukuk korporasi terhadap PDB, kemudian dianalisa secara deskriptif berdasarkan metode statistik dan dicari faktor penyebab dari fenomena hasil penelitian tersebut. Uji pengaruh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana bantuan software SPSS 21.00. Hasil uji model pengaruh investasi sukuk korporasi terhadap PDB menunjukan bahwa sukuk korporasi memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam hal ini adalah PDB. Sukuk mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi melalui PDB melalui pendanaan dari penerbitan sukuk korporasi (corporate sukuk), dimana ketika suatu perusahaan menerbitkan surat utang atau sukuk maka perusahaan tersebut akan mendapatkan dana ketika surat utang tersebut telah terjual. Adanya tambahan dana dari penerbitan sukuk dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi. Kapasitas produksi yang meningkat diharapkan meningkatkan produksi menjadi lebih banyak, sehingga perekonomian dapat tumbuh. Pada akhirnya peningkatan output tersebut yang akan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tantangan yang dihadapi adalah share sukuk terhadap obligasi yang masih stagnan di kisaran 5%. Masalah dalam pengembangan sukuk korporasi di Indonesia lebih didominasi aspek pelaku pasar dan regulasi. Sehingga diperlukan kajian terkait supply dan demand sukuk korporasi. Dari sisi supply antara lain mendorong BUMN untuk turut serta listing (mengeluarkan) efek sukuk korporasi. Sementara sisi demand, yakni mendorong perbankan syariah untuk turut menempatkan dananya di sukuk. Literasi kepada masyarakat mengenai sukuk juga sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

Bakery Entrepreneurship Training as an Inclusive Solution for Productive Age Communities in Kediri City is an initiative implemented by DINKOP UMTK Kediri City at LPK Kusuma. The aim is to improve culinary skills and entrepreneurial potential for people of productive age. This activity involved 40 participants from various age backgrounds, between 18 and 45 years old. The data collection method uses a mixed questionnaire that evaluates the level of participant satisfaction with the training. The survey results showed that the majority of participants responded positively to the training. They appreciate instructors who provide material well and systematically and encourage participant involvement. However, some participants criticized the training time as being too short and location-related issues. Overall, this training was successful in increasing participants' knowledge and skills in the world of bakery, providing business ideas, and increasing product understanding. This initiative has a positive impact on participants and has the potential for business development in Kediri City.

Abstract

This training aims to improve the understanding and skills of mothers assisted by UMKM Chabi Craft in recording simple financial reports. The service method is carried out through a practical approach, combining theoretical training sessions with direct practice in financial recording. Apart from that, discussion and question-and-answer methods are also applied to ensure in-depth understanding. The results of this training show a significant increase in the ability of mothers assisted by UMKM Chabi Craft to record simple financial reports. They are able to group and record financial transactions in a more structured and accurate manner. Apart from that, they can also understand the importance of financial records in managing their business. This is reflected in increased fluency in understanding the financial reports produced and the ability to make better decisions based on financial data. This training proves that with a practical approach and appropriate assistance, mothers assisted by Chabi Craft MSMEs can develop important skills in managing their business finances.

Abstract

Unemployment in Kediri City, especially among women of productive age, is a challenge that requires solutions based on community empowerment. This BNSP-based makeup training program aims to improve work skills, instill an entrepreneurial spirit, and create independent business opportunities. The method used is through training. The implementation of the training includes intensive practice sessions, group discussions, and entrepreneurial mentoring. As a result, participants not only master makeup techniques, but also have a simple business plan to start an independent business. This training has succeeded in improving the work skills and economic independence of participants, while contributing to reducing unemployment in Kediri City. This program shows that community-based empowerment can be an effective solution to social challenges.

Abstract

The rapid development of the coffee industry in the increasingly competitive Society 5.0 era has created great opportunities for the coffee business, including in the city of Kediri, which is known for its local coffee potential. This article discusses a competitive advantage strategy with barista training held by the Progress Kediri Job Training Institute (LPK) in collaboration with the Kediri Micro Business Cooperative Office. The training aims to improve participants' skills and knowledge in coffee making and open new business opportunities, especially for the younger generation. The training methods included identification of participants' needs, delivery of materials related to coffee brewing, and hands-on practice at Alenia cafe. During the 10- day training, participants gained knowledge about espresso, cappuccino, latte art, and manual brew methods such as pour-over and french press. Evaluation results showed that the training was effective in improving participants' skills and providing in-depth knowledge about the world of coffee. The certificate given at the end of the training added to the participants' professional value and opened up career and business opportunities in the coffee industry. The conclusion shows that this training has a positive impact on participants, fosters the spirit of entrepreneurship, and is in line with government programs in advancing the creative economy..

Abstract

The need for large funds for National Economic Recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic requires various low-cost, high-efficiency, and sustainable instruments. This study aims to analyze the potential of Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) as an instrument for National Economic Recovery in Indonesia. Collaborating on Sukuk as an instrument that can mobilize funds and waqf with its unique nature can generate income and finance productive activities where returns or profits will be stored for future funding. This study uses an exploratory qualitative approach by reviewing and analyzing facts, expert opinions, theories, and previous research on CWLS and its development potential. This study found that the CWLS collaboration model can be an alternative to sustainable Islamic financial instruments in Indonesia and has the potential as an instrument to obtain cheap and easy funds to accelerate post-pandemic national economic recovery. This instrument is very suitable because it has high flexibility, appeals to the Muslim philanthropic middle class, and is sustainable alms from waqf to be distributed to beneficiaries.

Abstract

Innovative management of Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, and Waqf (ZISWAF) plays an important role in improving social welfare. BAZNAS Trenggalek implements an innovation strategy to optimize the collection, management, and distribution of ZISWAF funds effectively and transparently. The methods used in community service and field surveys for aid recipients include living expenses, house renovations, health services, and education programs such as scholarships and school equipment. The main objective of this community service is to analyze the innovation strategy implemented by BAZNAS Trenggalek in managing ZISWAF to improve community welfare. The results show that the innovations implemented include digitalization of ZISWAF services, strengthening collaboration with the private sector and government, and ZISWAF-based economic empowerment programs. Increased transparency and accountability have contributed to increasing public trust in fund management. The impact of this strategy is reflected in the increasing amount of ZISWAF funds collected and the effectiveness of the distribution program, which provides real benefits to the underprivileged. With this innovative strategy, ZISWAF management at BAZNAS Trenggalek becomes more optimal and sustainable in supporting social welfare. In the future, strengthening collaboration and utilizing technology is expected to further increase the effectiveness of ZISWAF management and expand its impact on society.

Abstract

The widening economic gap is one of the social problems that need to be addressed effectively. Zakat, as one of the instruments of Islamic economics, has an important role in reducing this gap by channeling some of the wealth from muzakki to mustahik. This community service focuses on assisting zakat pick-up services and distributing zakat funds at BAZNAS Trenggalek, with the aim of optimizing the effectiveness of zakat collection and distribution to be more transparent and on target. The method used in this service includes four main stages: planning, selecting recipients, and implementation. At the planning stage, mapping of target areas and identification of prospective zakat recipients is carried out in accordance with the principles of 8 asnaf. The implementation stage includes zakat pick-up services for muzakki and distribution of zakat funds in the form of cash assistance or productive goods that can improve the welfare of mustahik. Evaluation is carried out to assess the effectiveness of the program and identify obstacles and improvements that can be applied in the future. The results of the service show that zakat pick-up services increase the participation of muzakki in paying zakat, while more targeted distribution of zakat funds has a significant impact on the welfare of mustahik. In addition, this mentoring provides students with direct experience in professional and accountable zakat management. With this approach, zakat is not only a short-term solution to overcoming poverty, but also an instrument for sustainable economic empowerment
