Abstract

Multicultural education aims to ensure fair representation of diverse social groups in school curricula, particularly those historically marginalized due to gender, race, class, or religion. Islamic religious education (IRE) in schools and madrasas emphasizes strengthening faith through knowledge, appreciation, practice, and student experiences. This study examines the contribution of IRE in fostering multicultural tolerance and solidarity among students. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the implementation of multicultural values in schools. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The focus was on the role of schools and Islamic religious education teachers in promoting tolerance and solidarity. The findings indicate that IRE contributes to multicultural tolerance through two key strategies: a) Religious and Social Activities – Schools and IRE teachers organize activities such as social donations during disasters, fostering solidarity. Extracurricular activities, including futsal, scouts, and choirs, further support the development of tolerance. b) Good Habits in the School Environment – IRE teachers encourage respect for differences and collaboration among students, promoting daily habits that reinforce multicultural values. These findings suggest that Islamic religious education plays a significant role in strengthening multicultural values by integrating religious teachings with social practices that promote inclusivity and cooperation. Islamic religious education, through religious activities, social engagement, and good habits, fosters multicultural tolerance and solidarity among students. Schools should continue integrating these values into their educational practices to strengthen social cohesion in diverse learning environments.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that play an important role in shaping the character of students based on the values ​​of the Qur'an. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the values ​​of the Qur'an as a strategy in the learning process at the Djaga Daeng Maroa Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interview techniques as the main source of data collection. Information was obtained through interviews with female teachers who were directly involved in the learning process at the Islamic boarding school. The results of the study indicate that the values ​​of the Qur'an such as honesty, responsibility, and trustworthiness are integrated into learning activities through exemplary-based teaching, strengthening the habit of worship, and thematic methods based on the Qur'an. Female teachers also emphasize the importance of these values ​​in shaping the Islamic personality of students. The challenges faced include limited resources and resistance in implementing change, but this is overcome through the development of innovative and consistent learning programs. This study concludes that female teachers provide an in-depth description of the effectiveness of the implementation of the values ​​of the Qur'an as an educational strategy at the Djaga Daeng Maroa Islamic Boarding School. These results can be a reference for the development of learning methods based on Islamic values ​​in other educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of student perceptions and BK infrastructure on interest in guidance and counseling services at SMA Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau. The method used is quantitative with a population of 256 students and a sample of 38 students through simple random sampling techniques, analyzed using multiple linear regression, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the simultaneous test show that student perceptions and BK infrastructure have a significant effect on interest in BK services (sig. F = 0.001 < 0.05) with R² = 97.9%. Thus, both independent variables together provide a strong contribution to interest in guidance and counseling services. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between student perceptions and BK infrastructure on interest in guidance and counseling services at SMA Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

This training aims to find out the extent to which SMA 1 Sinjai students are able to recite the Koran and write mushaf equally through the law of reading. The method used in this training is the Iqra method, because this training is carried out by asking students to learn to write hijaiyah letters and testing students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an. The benefit obtained from this training is that we can understand that BTA training is important because we know that the Koran is the main guideline of Islam and a guide for all mankind. This creative and innovative form of learning is prepared through training in reading and writing the Koran. The training is not just about reciting the Koran, but also writing hijaiyah letters with different pronunciations of the letters. Zikr is a form that can help students read the Al-Qur'an correctly according to their memorization. At SMA 1 Sinjai, it is one of the targets for organizing training in reading and writing the Al-Quran. This training is carried out so that students can love and study the Koran from now on. The results of this activity were carried out with the aim of producing a broad understanding of the development of learning to read and write the Koran. which was developed at SMA 1 Sinjai to increase students' interest in learning the Koran. With this training, it is also hoped that it can provide in-depth knowledge to improve learning to read and write the Koran in Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of teaching reading comprehension using a cooperative learning model for first-year students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone. The study employed a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups: an experimental group (30 students) and a control group (30 students). Both groups underwent pre-test assessments, material presentations, and post-test evaluations. The data, collected through multiple-choice items, were analyzed using mean scores and the t-test formula. The research revealed that reading comprehension improved significantly in the experimental group (mean score 83.11) compared to the control group (mean score 61.56). The t-test also indicated a significant difference between the two groups, favoring the cooperative learning model. In conclusion, the use of the cooperative learning model effectively enhances students' reading comprehension.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive meta-synthetic analysis of speaking anxiety among Indonesian English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. Speaking anxiety is a common challenge that significantly impacts the language acquisition process, affecting learners' confidence, performance, and overall proficiency. The meta-synthesis method was employed to integrate and interpret findings from multiple qualitative and quantitative studies conducted in the Indonesian context. The analysis reveals several key factors contributing to speaking anxiety, including fear of negative evaluation, lack of confidence in language proficiency, and cultural influences on communication styles. Additionally, the study highlights the role of educational environments and teacher-student dynamics in exacerbating or alleviating anxiety. The findings suggest that targeted interventions, such as supportive teaching practices, anxiety-reducing classroom activities, and the development of a positive learning environment, can effectively mitigate speaking anxiety. This meta-synthesis provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers aiming to enhance EFL education in Indonesia by addressing the psychological barriers to effective language learning. By synthesizing diverse perspectives and empirical evidence, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of speaking anxiety in the Indonesian EFL context and offers practical recommendations for fostering a more conducive learning atmosphere for language learners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Keefektifan Aplikasi Macromedia Flash Terhadap Pembelajaran PAI Pada Kelas X UPT SMKN 1 Sinjai. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi berjumlah 62 orang, dan yang menjadi sampel penelitian berjumlah 31 orang dikelas TKJ 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 31 orang dikelas TKJ 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumen. Dari kedua hasil analis dikelas eksperimen dan kelas control dapat di ditarik kesimpulan bahwa keefektifan pembelajaran PAI lebih meningkat menggunakan macromedia flash dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan keefektifan pembelajaran PAI di kelas eksperimen sebesar 41,93, sedangkan di kelas control keefektifan pembelajaran PAI sebesar 26,7. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat diketauhi bahwa pembelajaran PAI efektif ketika menggunakan aplikasi macromedia flash di kelas X UPT SMKN 1 Sinjai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profesionalisme dan kedisiplinan guru PAI terhadap motivasi mengahafal al-qur’an peserta didik di MIS ikhwanussafa sengkang. Dalam penelitian ini telah dilakukan uji statistik regresi linear berganda untuk uji hipotesis dan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa profesionalisme dan kedisiplinan guru PAI terhadap motivasi mengahafal al-qur’an peserta didik di MIS ikhwanussafa sengkang terdapat pengaruh. Jenis penelitian ex post facto. Adapun populasi pada riset ini adalah seluruh peserta didik MIS Ikhwanussafa Sengkang yang berjumlah 30 orang. Langkah teknis pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrumen angket/kuesioner, dokumen. Selanjutnya untuk analisis data digunakan program Spss versi 22. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran bahwa 1) Profesionalisme guru terhadap motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an peserta didik di MIS Ikhwanussafa Sengkang terdapat pengaruh. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji regresi sederhana diperoleh hasil uji T dengan menggunakan SPSS menunjukkan t hitung 3,490 > t tabel 2,048 dan besaran pengaruh berdasarkan uji R- Square yaitu 74,5 % sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti bahwa profesionalisme guru PAI berpengaruh terhadap motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an peserta didik. 2) Kedisiplinan guru terhadap motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an peserta didik di MIS Ikhwanussafa Sengkang terdapat pengaruh. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji regresi sederhana diperoleh hasil uji T dengan menggunakan SPSS menunjukkan nilai t hitung 4,026 > t tabel 2,048 dan besaran pengaruh berdasarkan uji R-Square adalah 74,5 % sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti kedisiplinan guru PAI berpengaruh terhadap motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an peserta didik. 3) Profesionalisme dan kedisiplinan guru PAI terhadap motivasi menghafal Al-Qur’an peserta didik berpengaruh secara simultan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji regresi berganda diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05 dan nilai F hitung 39,345 > F tabel 3.55 sedangkan besaran pengaruh berdasarkan uji R-Square adalah 74,5 %, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti profesionalisme guru dan kedisiplinan guru PAI secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap motivasi menghaafal Al Qur’an peserta didik
