Abstract

This article will describe the innovation of a multicultural-based Islamic Education curriculum in Madrasah Tsnawaiyah An Namiyah Pondok Aren. Therefore, the focus of the problems raised in this study are; how is the PAI curriculum multiculturally based? How are the innovations made in the multicultural-based PAI curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyan An Namiyah Pondok Aren? This research was conducted conceptually, where the author collected research data from existing literacy, related to the theme raised, then reviewed it narrative-descriptively. The results showed that the multicultural-based PAI curriculum at MTs An Namiyah Pondok Aren adjusted to aspects of student development. At this stage, PAI subjects at MTs An Namiyah Pondok Aren already reflect multicultural values, namely students are able to maintain mutual understanding, and show mutual respect. At this stage students are able to get to know themselves by discussing with others, who are culturally different. This is so that students can distinguish the multicultural aspects around them (school), and be able to participate in life. The effort to instill a multicultural attitude is carried out with three approaches, namely contributive, additive, and social action.

The author uses primary/main sources, namely the Qur'an, supported by secondary sources such as books and articles in journals related to the theme of this study. The results of the study indicate that moral education is a process of forming good morals. The Qur'an is the main source of moral education. Moral education contained in the Qur'an, letter Luqman verse 18 is the prohibition of arrogant behavior. The reason arrogance is prohibited is because it causes Allah's wrath, causes not to enter heaven, causes conflict and war, and causes disharmonious relationships in the community. In the letter Luqman verse 18, it is explained that the role of parents in forming good morals in children is very important. Luqman is a parent who provides an example for his children. The results of this study are very useful for the world of education, especially the education process at home as the main and first educational institution for children. Keywords: Education, Moral, Al-Qur’an

For this reason, innovation is needed in Islamic Religious Education. One solution is to use multiple intelligences-based learning. The formulation of the problem in this study is: 1. Is there a direct or indirect influence between kinesthetic intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence and language intelligence mediated by mathematical intelligence on the results of learning Islamic Religious Education at Raharja University in Tangerang? 2. Is there a direct or indirect influence between interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence and existential intelligence mediated by naturalist intelligence on the results of learning Islamic Religious Education at Raharja University in Tangerang? This study is a quantitative study using the Smart-PLS Version 4.0 application for data analysis. The results of the study are: 1. Based on the results of the analysis, the R Square value of 0.651 was obtained for language intelligence, indicating that 65.1% of the variation in this variable can be explained by kinesthetic intelligence and visual-spatial intelligence in the model, with 34.9% influenced by external factors. This can be explained that the results of learning Islamic religion at Raharja University are influenced by language intelligence supported by kinesthetic intelligence and visual-spatial intelligence which are significant even though there are external factors on learning outcomes.2. Likewise, the R Square value of 0.646 for mathematical intelligence indicates that 64.6% of the variation in this variable can be explained by kinesthetic intelligence and visual-spatial intelligence in the model, with 35.5% influenced by external factors. From these results, it can also be said that the results of studying Islamic religion at Raharja University students have a significant influence on mathematical intelligence mediated by kinesthetic intelligence and visual-spatial intelligence. It can be said that there is a positive correlation between the three intelligences. 3. Based on the results of the analysis, the R Square value of 0.806 for existential intelligence indicates that 80.6% of the variation in this variable can be explained by intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence in the model, with 19.4% influenced by external factors. Likewise, the R Square value of 0.697 for naturalist intelligence indicates that 69.7% of the variation in this variable can be explained by intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence in the model, with 31.3% influenced by external factors.
