ABSTRACT The reform movement that wants a democratic social order in Indonesia has given birth to a national education system that is no longer centralistic. In a democratic education system, people are given the freedom to develop according to their abilities and potential. Recognition of the community to develop autonomously will spur the dynamics of society so that it becomes a developed society and science-powered. Thus, education autonomy will empower schools as the spearhead of the decentralization of education and encourage schools to improve quality in accordance with the potential of schools. Therefore, the government issued a school-based management policy and community-based education. along with the decentralized education system, it is necessary to apply a non-single curriculum that can be applied to all schools. A curriculum is needed that can be applied to schools according to the needs and abilities of the school. A single curriculum will encourage schools to increase creativity and high competitiveness so that superior and quality schools are born. In addition to the demands for decentralization, the national education system needs to be supported by a curriculum that can answer the current order, such as the demands of democratization, the challenges of the era of universalism, and the low quality of education in Indonesia. curriculum that can accommodate the demands of democratization will give birth to a new Indonesian society. namely civil society, fierce competition in the era of globalization requires a curriculum design that can lead the Indonesian people to achieve excellence in mastering science and technology. The low quality of education in Indonesia, one of which is due to curriculum patterns that are not able to equip students with life skills that shape creative, critical, independent and productive attitudes. Artikel ini berawal dari maraknya sorotan tindakan memukul dalam mendidik anak, juga terdapatnya Undang-Undang perlindungan anak nomor 23 tahun 2002 pasal 80. Ada beberapa pendapat mengenai tindakan memukul dalam mendidik anak yang perlu diperjelas dan dipertajam. Permasalahan yang ingin dicari jawabannya adalah: a)Bagaimana tindakan memukul dalam mendidik anak yang termuat di Kitab Tarbiyatul Aulad Fil Islam Karya Abdullah Nashih Ulwan? b) Bagaimana batasan memukul yang diperbolehkan dalam mendidik anak?. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi, sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode analitik. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tindakan memukul dalam mendidik anak ini dapat dilakukan apabila telah melakukan berbagai cara, sehingga tindakan memukul ini adalah pilihan terakhir dalam menghukum anak dengan tetap harus memperhatikan syarat ketentuannya.

This research was conducted to increase reading creativity with the help of flashcard media in children aged 4-5 years and can find out the role of teachers in developing pre-reading stimulation in children aged 4-5 years in Islamic Kindergarten Allam Pelem Watu Menganti Gresik through flashcard media. This study uses a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 10 children aged 4-5 years, 6 boys and 4 girls and 2 teachers of class A group. Researchers collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results, this study was able to improve aspects of the pre-reading development of children aged 4-5 years so that they developed very well. Judging from the results of observations in the field, the use of stimulating pre-reading through flashcard media to improve the pre-reading development of children aged 4-5 years is the use of the flashcard method equipped with interesting and varied pictures. This is evidenced from the results of the checklist on the assessment of pre-reading developmental aspects of group A children aged 4-5 years, that when using the story method and without using interesting and varied pictures, there are some children who still lack a sense of self-awareness, responsibility and prosocial behavior.

Being creative in developing various media in order to improve children's motor skills is one of the mandatory skills that teachers must have. From birth to the age of six children will develop through educational stimuli that help the growth of children's physical and spiritual development so that children are ready to follow the next level of education .Meronce is a fun thing that can be done by children. With meronce children will assemble from an object into a new work. One example is grinding the seeds of bidara. And the results of meronce bidara can be in the form of necklaces, bracelets or beads. The purpose of this study was to find out how to inculcate aspects of Physical Motoric development in children aged 4-5 years at RAM 112 Miftahul Ulum Sooko. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach utilizing natural materials around us. The results of this study can be concluded that singing skills can improve children's motoric development in the form of small muscles and train the strength and skills of the use of children's fingers. By grinding these bidara seeds, they can hone children's creativity and imagination in their work. So that children can learn in a fun way and add insight into the natural materials around them

this study aims to determine the effect of paper clay activities on aspects of fine art development in children aged 4-5 years at TK DWP Menganti II Gresik. This research is a quantitative experimental method with a pre-experimental design using a one group pretest-posttest design approach. The population is 27 children in TK DWP Menganti II Gresik by using non probability sampling technique with saturated sampling. The independent variable in this study is paper clay activities, while the dependent variable is the development aspect of fine arts. In this study, the average value 27,81 was obtained from the ability of children before getting to know paper clay activities. Then the average value of 39,33 was obtained from the child’s ability after getting to know paper clay activities. Supported by the acquisition of nonparametric statistical calculations marked with the Wilcoxon signed rank test, the Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value of 0,00 < 0,05 means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From these results, it can be stated that paper clay activities affect aspect of fine art development in children aged 4-5 years at TK DWP Menganti II Gresik.
