Abstract

Background: The research problem is to improve our understanding of how different training approaches can improve bullet-shot results. Research Objectives: This study aims to investigate the impact of different training models on the learning outcomes of orthodox-style shot put. Methods: The research method employed was an experiment with a one-group pre-test and post-test design to enhance student learning outcomes using a varied training model. The subjects consisted of 32 students from a high school in Palembang. The study was conducted over 30 days, with four weekly meetings. During each meeting, 2-3 training models were presented, resulting in a total of 10 variation training models, namely Passing Techniques in Football Baseball, Techniques that Hold the Repulsion, Hanging the Ball, Resisting Pull, Clap Hand, Reject Target, Throwing Darts, Shoot in Target, and Load Rejection One Shoot. Data analysis used SPSS version 23 to calculate the significant value of the pretest and posttest results. Finding/Results: The study found that using varied training models resulted in significantly better learning outcomes in orthodox-style bullet throwing. Conclusion: The study concluded that varied training models have a considerable positive influence on learning outcomes in the orthodox style of instruction. This suggests that the findings contribute to a deeper understanding of effective training methods in sports education and have practical implications for athletic training programs. We could conduct longitudinal studies to investigate the long-term impact of diverse training on skill retention and entry into competitive athletics.

Abstract

Build up is an effort and process of attacking strategy by building an offensive strategy from various situations and conditions starting from the defensive line itself which aims to create goal opportunities and get victory. The purpose of this study is to produce a build-up training model in futsal games. The methods used in this study are the ADDIE analysis, design, developmet, implementation, and evaluation methods. The results of this study were obtained from the expert validation that had been carried out involving 3 experts including 1 futsal coach, 1 futsal academic, and 1 futsal practitioner. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. Based on the results of the CVI and CVR analysis, a value of 0.5 or valid. It can be interpreted that this build up session 1 training model is feasible to use and applied to the build up training of futsal club athletes in the city of Palembang

Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant transformations across various sectors, including the judicial system. Countries such as China and the United States have adopted AI in legal decision-making, whereas Indonesia remains in the early stages of implementing this technology. While AI has the potential to enhance judicial efficiency, challenges related to regulation, transparency, and algorithmic bias raise concerns regarding the accuracy and fairness of legal rulings. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of AI utilization in Indonesia’s judicial system, identify key challenges, and propose policy recommendations. This research employs both normative and empirical approaches by examining AI-related regulations and conducting interviews with judges and technology experts in Indonesia. The findings indicate that 65% of judges in Indonesia remain skeptical about AI's role in legal decision-making. In contrast, in countries like China, AI adoption in the judiciary has improved case resolution efficiency by 30–40%. Additionally, a public survey reveals that while 55% of respondents believe AI can enhance the objectivity of legal rulings, 45% remain concerned about potential algorithmic bias. Furthermore, the study highlights that Indonesia lacks specific regulations governing AI in the legal system, which may hinder the widespread adoption of this technology. This research contributes to understanding the readiness of Indonesia’s judicial system in integrating AI and emphasizes the necessity of clear regulations and robust oversight mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for policymakers in formulating comprehensive regulations to optimize AI implementation in the Indonesian judicial system

Abstract

Limbah gliserol mentah dari produksi biodiesel dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku untuk produk dengan nilai tambah seperti gliserol karbonat yang menjadi produk berkualitas di sektor medis dan kecantikan, sebagai pembawa pada baterai litium dan litium-ion, pelarut, komposisi deterjen, surfaktan, perantara kimia, polimer, dan bahan untuk membangun material eko-komposit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai aspek teknis dan ekonomis dari proses produksi gliserol karbonat melalui simulasi. Simulasi dilakukan dengan perangkat lunak yang melibatkan beberapa unit operasi dan unit rekasi. Kemurnian produk gliserol karbonat tinggi sebesar 99,99% dan performa kimia yang baik dengan konversi gliserol 93,20% dan hasil gliserol karbonat sebesar 93,13% berhasil diperoleh. Nilai bersih sekarang (NPV), periode pengembalian (PP), dan tingkat pengembalian internal (IRR) adalah masing-masing 5.480.000 USD, 5,69 tahun, dan 20,9%. Analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa biaya bahan baku dan harga produk utama memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap NPV dan PP. Untuk meningkatkan keuntungan proses ini, harga gliserol mentah harus kurang dari 0,44 USD/kg dan harga gliserol karbonat harus lebih dari 3,15 USD/kg. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gliserol mentah sebagai produk samping dari sintesis biodiesel merupakan pilihan yang sangat baik untuk mengembangkan produk baru dengan nilai lebih tinggi, serta berkontribusi signifikan terhadap prinsip zero-waste dan ekonomi sirkular.

Abstract

Identifikasi spesifik tumbuhan hutan memiliki peran krusial dalam pelestarian, terutama untuk spesies seperti Cassia fistula, yang banyak ditemukan di Asia Selatan dan Asia Tenggara. Cassia fistula, dikenal dengan nama umum Golden Shower, adalah spesies yang penting dalam ekosistem hutan karena peran ekologisnya dan kegunaannya dalam pengobatan tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akurasi identifikasi spesies ini dengan menerapkan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Gambar dari berbagai bagian tubuh Cassia fistula seperti batang, bunga, daun, ranting, dan pohon diambil dan dikelompokkan ke dalam lima kelas, dengan total 345 citra. Model CNN kemudian dilatih dengan 10, 100, dan 200 epoch untuk mengukur efektivitas dalam identifikasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa akurasi meningkat dengan bertambahnya epoch: 73,53% untuk 10 epoch, 88,57% untuk 100 epoch, dan 94,12% untuk 200 epoch. Nilai loss juga berkurang secara signifikan, dari 61,16% pada 10 epoch, menjadi 44,31% pada 100 epoch, dan akhirnya 9,27% pada 200 epoch. Dengan hasil ini, CNN terbukti mampu mengidentifikasi Cassia fistula secara spesifik dan akurat, dengan tingkat keberhasilan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan potensi besar penerapan CNN dalam mendukung efisiensi dan akurasi identifikasi tumbuhan hutan, yang pada gilirannya dapat mendukung upaya pelestarian hutan, terutama di kawasan Asia Tenggara di mana spesies ini banyak ditemukan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of abdominal muscle endurance and leg muscle strength to jump height in volleyball extracurricular in Senior High School (SMA) in Palembang. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlational method, involving 30 male and female volleyball athletes selected through purposive sampling. Abdominal muscle endurance was measured using a one-minute sit-up test, leg muscle strength was measured with a vertical jump and quadriceps dynamometer, while jump height was measured using a jump reach test commonly used in the performance assessment of volleyball athletes. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the simultaneous and partial contribution of independent variables to dependent variables. The results showed that abdominal muscle endurance and leg muscle strength together contributed significantly to jump height (R² = 0.687), explaining about 68.7% variation in jump ability. Individually, leg muscle strength contributed more (β = 0.542, p < 0.01) than abdominal muscle endurance (β = 0.312, p < 0.05). These findings suggest that both physical components are important for improving jump performance in high school volleyball athletes; However, the strength of the leg muscles has a more dominant role. It is recommended to coaches and health care teachers in Palembang to integrate an exercise program that emphasizes the development of core endurance and limb explosive energy in order to optimize sports performance in volleyball. This research contributes to understanding the biomechanical factors that affect volleyball-specific skills in adolescent athletes in educational settings.

Abstract

The topic of climate change has evolved over time from being a global concern to a national strategic one. A nation should pay extra attention to the issue of climate change because it may affect its socio-environmental perspective. The third IPCC report states that climate change might intensify conflict or war; also, because it affects people's livelihoods, it can lessen the perspective of environmental sociology. This study, which employed a descriptive methodology, aims to clarify the problem of climate change and its relationship to the sociological environmental perspective, as well as the effects of climate change from the perspective of environmental sociology and potential solutions. According to the findings of the study Climate Change Impacts and Solutions: An Environmental Sociological Perspective, security may be indirectly impacted by climate change because it may have an impact on human livelihoods. In this scenario, the setting that is transformed into a field or a place where people work won't fully generate natural products, which can result in poverty. even make poverty worse. The government of Indonesia is taking action to address climate issues in order to reduce the level of climate change and reduce emissions by developing a strategy for implementing the Trans-Agency Programme in the National Medium-Term Development Planning (RPJMN) 2015-2019 with the National Action Plan - Climate Change Adaptation (RAN-API). Climate change can also worsen political stability. The NAP covers 17 technical entities with a focus on the economy, finance, human resources, environment, specific fields, and the legal system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis-jenis bakat olahraga peserta didik serta prosedur pemanduannya menggunakan metode sport search di SD Negeri 01 Karang Nongko, Kabupaten OKU Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes dan pengukuran pemanduan bakat olahraga. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Pemanduan dilakukan melalui sepuluh jenis tes fisik, yaitu tinggi badan (rata-rata 142,11 cm), berat badan (35,57 kg), tinggi duduk (76,49 cm), jarak lengan (141,81 cm), lempar tangkap bola (23,49 kali), lempar bola basket (12,23 kali), loncat tegak (25,15 cm), lari kelincahan (13,09 detik), lari cepat 40 meter (7,04 detik), dan lari multitahap (32,69 shuttle). Berdasarkan hasil tes, jenis bakat olahraga siswa meliputi: sepak bola (24,59%), bulu tangkis (19,67%), bola basket (16,39%), voli (14,75%), atletik/lari cepat (13,11%), dan renang (11,48%).

Abstract

This research aims to design and create a sms-based motor vehicle security system with an ATMega 8535 microcontroller. This research utilizes hand phone technology and microcontroller. Making this tool has an economical price to secure motorized vehicles. Important prototypes in making this tool are the ATMega 8535 microcontroller, GSM Modem and HP. In making this tool the first thing to make is to make a microcontroller program for the controller. Making this program uses CV Avr soft ware (Code Vision Avr). After the program is finished, the program is downloaded to the microcontroller. Control is done by the microcontroller when it gets input. The result of this research is to get a vehicle security system that is integrated by the ignition system on a motorcycle. The process of securing a motorized vehicle when it is stolen is, the security system will send sms information that the motorcycle is stolen, the alarm sounds and the ignition system is cut off. To turn off the alarm and start the motorcycle, the owner sends an SMS with the format *ALOF# to the security system and starts the motorcycle normally (Pull the front brake three times then position the key to ON mode).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to evaluate the management of the Sport Massage Laboratory at Universitas Bina Darma using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The evaluation was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that, in terms of context, the existence of the laboratory is highly relevant and aligned with the vision of the study program as well as the needs of the community. Regarding input, the laboratory is equipped with facilities and support staff, but there are still shortcomings in human resource management and information systems. The laboratory’s activities are running fairly well; however, the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) is not yet optimal. In terms of product, the laboratory has provided tangible benefits for students, lecturers, and the general public, although there is no systematic evaluation of service outcomes in place. Overall, the laboratory management is running fairly well but requires improvements in several aspects. Therefore, it is recommended to enhance staff competence through training, develop a more organized management system, conduct regular service evaluations, and increase promotion efforts to make the laboratory more recognized and utilized optimally.
