Abstract

Abstrak. This research delves into the role of teachers in the extracurricular activity of sermon training at the Private Islamic Senior High School Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Bromo, particularly within the context of character formation, skill development, and the reinforcement of religious values among students. It is emphasized that the success of teachers in educating students in this activity relies heavily on their competence and skills in understanding, teaching, and implementing effective pedagogical approaches. Initial observations indicate several issues, such as the primary constraint of limited time and the inadequacy of evaluations measuring students' progress in sermon delivery. These challenges can impact the quality of learning and the students' achievements in the extracurricular program. Therefore, serious measures and comprehensive improvements are needed to enhance the effectiveness of the extracurricular sermon training activity and achieve religious education goals at Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Bromo, Medan Area District, City of Medan.

Abstract

The 2024 General Election for Presidential, Vice Presidential, and Legislative Candidates on February 14 and November for Regional Heads are very vulnerable to groups of white groups. Of course, this will result in low public participation in the 2024 elections. This Community Service aims to increase community political participation by minimizing abstentions in elections based on first-time voters and voters who have repeatedly participated in the election of legislative candidates, executive candidates, and regional head elections among 50 people in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya Subdistrict, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. The method of this community service activity is through pre-post steps after the next two weeks to see the effect of the socialization program to minimize abstentions on changes in people's thinking. Will people become more aware of choosing to go to a polling place. The evaluation measuring tools are pre and post-tests in the community. The result of the community service is that there is public awareness to take part in the 2024 elections in presidential, legislative, and regional elections.

Abstract

Pedagang es tebu kota Pontianak menghasilkan ampas tebu mencapai ± 1-2 karung dalam setiap harinya. Ampas tebu tersebut tidak diolah lebih lanjut sehingga akan menimbulkan gangguan pencemaran udara dan bau yang tidak sedap. Pemanfaatan sampah ampas tebu sebagai bahan baku pembuatan kompos, untuk pembuatan kompos harus diaplikasikan menggunakan bioaktivator. Bioaktivator dalam penelitian ini menggunakan MOL mengkudu dan kotoran sapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas kombinasi MOL mengkudu dan kotoran sapi sebagai bioaktivator dalam pembuatan kompos ampas tebu dengan variasi dosis 30 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, 60 ml, dan 70 ml. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experimen), penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan MOL mengkudu dan kotoran sapi sebagai bioaktivator pengomposan ampas tebu. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan MOL mengkudu dan kotoran sapi sebagai bioaktivator pengomposan ampas tebu. MOL Mengkudu dicampur dengan kotoran sapi, untuk menambah aktivator sesuai perlakuan menyemprotkan larutan kombinasi MOL mengkudu dan kotoran sapi dengan variasi dosis 30 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, 60 ml dan 70 ml secara merata kedalam ember yang berisi ampas tebu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada uji One Way Anova, diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 (p< 0,05), sehingga ada perbedaan signifikan antara MOL mengkudu dan kotoran sapi terhadap waktu pematangan kompos ampas tebu. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa efektivitas penggunaan kombinasi MOL mengkudu dan kotoran sapi terhadap kecepatan pematangan kompos ampas tebu adalah dosis ke-70 ml yang efektif selama 16 hari.

Abstract

The increasing number of hospitals in Indonesia, the production of medical waste produced is also increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to manage waste in B3 to avoid injury and environmental pollution. B3 waste generated by hospitals can cause disruption of health protection and or risk of pollution to the environment. The existence of good waste management is expected to minimize the impact. This study aims to describe the stages of sorting, storage, transportation, and final processing, at Ade Muhammad Djoen Sintang Regional General Hospital. This type of research uses descriptive observational, data collection is done by means of interviews and observations, then presented in tabular form, and described in narrative form. The results showed that the value of sorting was 50, storage was 35, transportation was 85, temporary storage was 80, and final processing was 175. It is recommended that the waste storage place has a plastic bag color that matches the type of medical waste and non-medical waste, transported every day so that there are no insects. and smells.

Abstract

Alternatif IPAL yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah biofilter anaerob-aerob. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) di Tempat Praktek Mandiri Bidan (TPMB) Kelurahan Sedau Kota Singkawang. Jenis penelitan bersifat deskriptif dengan metode observasional dimana peneliti merencanakan desain unit Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) yang memenuhi standar pengolahan air limbah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sumber air limbah yang dihasilkan berasal dari toilet/WC, ruang bersalin, ruang perawatan. Kebutuhan lahan sebesar 8,17 m2. Limbah cair yang dihasilkan sebanyak 384 liter/hari (0,27 m3/menit). Dimensi unit operasi Bak penampungan awal Panjang 1,08 m, Lebar 0,75 m ,Tinggi 1 m, Freeboard 0,2 m. Bak anaerob media biocord Panjang 1,44 m, Lebar = 0,75 m , Tinggi 1 m, Freeboard 0,2 m. Bak aerob media MBBR Panjang 1,44 m, Lebar 0,75 m, Tinggi 1 m, Freeboard 0,2 m. Bak penampungan akhir Panjang 1,08 m, Lebar 0,75 m, Tinggi 1 m, Freeboard 0,2 m, Dan untuk Bak kontrol Panjang 1,44 m, Lebar 0,75 m, Tinggi 1 m, Freeboard 0,2 m. Anggaran biaya sebesar Rp 14.630.000,00 (Empat Belas Juta Enam Ratus Tiga Puluh Ribu Rupiah). Saran TPMB membangun Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) berdasarkan hasil penelitian, melakukan pengukuran karakteristik air limbah untuk mengetahui parameter yang ada pada limbah, melakukan pengujian penurunan kandungan limbah cair sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pengolahan untuk melihat sejauh mana keefektifan pengolahan limbah menggunakan media MBBR dan Bio-card.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Negeri 09 Sungai Kakap merupakan sekolah yang aktif dalam menjalankan program UKS. Sekolah ini juga menjadi sekolah sehat percontohan yang ada di Sungai Kakap. SDN 09 Sungai Kakap telah meraih penghargaan Adiwiyata tingkat Provinsi. Pengetahuan dan perilaku responden sangat berpengaruh terhadap program program UKS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku tentang program UKS di SDN 09 Sungai Kakap. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Total Populasi 454 orang. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu Tim UKS yang berjumlah 15 orang di SDN 09 Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Hasil analisa dilapangan dari gambaran tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku pelaksanaan program Tim UKS di SDN 09 Sungai Kakap didapatkan hasil pengetahuan pendidikan, pelayanan dan pembinaan kesehatan yaitu 100% dengan kategori baik. hasil perilaku pendidikan, pelayanan, dan pembinaan 100% dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Tim UKS memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku yang tergolong dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

The topic of climate change has evolved over time from being a global concern to a national strategic one. A nation should pay extra attention to the issue of climate change because it may affect its socio-environmental perspective. The third IPCC report states that climate change might intensify conflict or war; also, because it affects people's livelihoods, it can lessen the perspective of environmental sociology. This study, which employed a descriptive methodology, aims to clarify the problem of climate change and its relationship to the sociological environmental perspective, as well as the effects of climate change from the perspective of environmental sociology and potential solutions. According to the findings of the study Climate Change Impacts and Solutions: An Environmental Sociological Perspective, security may be indirectly impacted by climate change because it may have an impact on human livelihoods. In this scenario, the setting that is transformed into a field or a place where people work won't fully generate natural products, which can result in poverty. even make poverty worse. The government of Indonesia is taking action to address climate issues in order to reduce the level of climate change and reduce emissions by developing a strategy for implementing the Trans-Agency Programme in the National Medium-Term Development Planning (RPJMN) 2015-2019 with the National Action Plan - Climate Change Adaptation (RAN-API). Climate change can also worsen political stability. The NAP covers 17 technical entities with a focus on the economy, finance, human resources, environment, specific fields, and the legal system.

Abstract

Di desa Sungai Raya Kab. Bengkayang terdapat sungai yang memiliki kualitas fisik yang kurang baik terutama kekeruhan dan warna yang melebihi standar baku mutu air bersih, yaitu Sungai Baong. Agar dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat, diperlukan pengolahan khusus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis kemampuan Tanah Kaolin dan Tawas sebagai koagulan dalam menurunkan kadar kekeruhan dan warna pada air Sungai Baong di Desa Sungai Raya, Kab. Bengkayang. Penelitian yang akan dilakukan bersifat eksperimen semu ( Quasi Experiment ) dengan populasi tanah kaolin dan tawas, dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 30 sampel Air Sungai Baong dengan 5 kali berulang. Hasil penelitian dengan waktu pengendapan selama 30 menit mendapatkan dosis yang paling optimal kombinasi tanah kaolin sebanyak 5gr/l dan tawas sebanyak 0,2 gr/l, dengan penurunan kadar kekeruhan paling efektif, yaitu 5,97 NTU dari kadar sebelum perlakuan yaitu 1731 NTU dan penurunan kadar warna mencapai 18 TCU dari kadar sebelum perlakuan, yaitu 1321 TCU. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan disetiap penambahan variasi dosis kombinasi Tanah Kaolin dan Tawas terhadap kekeruhan dan warna air sungai Baong sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dengan nilai uji statistik kedua parameter, yaitu p= 0,000 (< 0,05).

Abstract

Kadar besi (Fe) pada air sumur gali di Desa Ampera Raya sangat tinggi yaitu 6,30 mg/L, hasil tersebut melebihi batas aman yang ditetapkan oleh Permenkes RI Nomor 2 Tahun 2023 yaitu 0,2 mg/L. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penurunan kadar besi (Fe) melalui proses aerator venturi dan filtrasi menggunakan media pasir kerang pada air sumur gali. Metode aerator venturi dipilih karena pembuatannya cukup sederhana sehingga mudah diaplikasikan oleh masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian metode quasi eksperimental (eksperimen semu). Sampel yang diteliti memiliki kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen menggunakan 5 perlakuan waktu pengendapan setelah proses aerasi venturi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses aerator venturi dan filtrasi menggunakan media pasir kerang dapat menurunkan kadar besi (Fe) pada air sumur gali. Hasil penurunan kadar besi (Fe) paling optimal di menit ke-80, dari nilai kadar besi awal 4,62 mg/L turun menjadi 3,31 mg/L dengan efektivitas penurunan sebesar 28,35%. Hasil penelitian kombinasi aerator venturi dan filtrasi menggunakan media pasir kerang bisa menurunkan kadar besi pada air sumur gali. namun, hasil olahan tersebut masih jauh dari nilai kadar besi yang diperbolehkan berdasarkan Permenkes RI Nomor 2 Tahun 2023. Sebaiknya peneliti selanjutnya melakukan proses penambahan koagulan jenis PAC (Poly Aluminium Chloride) sebelum proses filtrasi.
