Abstract

ABSTRACT: OUTBOND TRAINING TO INCREASE SELF EFFICACY IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENT This study aims to see the effect of outbound training in increasing self-efficacy of vocational students. Data collection using a self-efficacy scale, interviews and observations. The research design used was The one Group Pretest-postest Design. The analysis used two related sample tests with the Wilcoxon test and qualitative analysis to describe the effect of outbound training to increase self-efficacy in vocational students. The results showed that there was an effect of outbound training on the self-efficacy of vocational students. The influence is positive, which means that when vocational students receive outbound training, the self-efficacy of vocational students will get positive changes related to self-efficacy. Keywords: Outbond Training, Self efficacy, Vocational Students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan outbound dalam meningkatkan self efficacy siswa SMK. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self efficacy, wawancara dan observasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah The one Group Pretest-postest Design. Analisis menggunakan two related sample test dengan uji Wilcoxon dan analisis kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pelatihan outbound untuk meningkatkan self efficacy pada siswa SMK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan outbound terhadap self efficacy siswa SMK. Adapun bentuk pengaruhnya adalah positif, yang artinya ketika siswa SMK mendapatkan pelatihan outbound maka self efficacy siswa SMK akan mendapatkan perubahan yang positif terkait self efficacynya. Kata kunci: Pelatihan Oubound, Self Efficacy, Siswa SMK

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's knowledge of school or madrasa accreditation implementation. The research method that the author uses in this research is descriptive quantitative using documentation, interviews, and observations. The location of this research is in SD/MI in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The study results obtained that teachers' knowledge of school or madrasah accreditation was still minimal, namely around 42% of teachers had moderate knowledge of accreditation, 8% of teachers who had insufficient knowledge of accreditation, 50% of teachers who had high category knowledge.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah anak disaability semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Sehingga kebutuhan Sekolah Luar Biasa diperlukan Lembaga sekolah yang mendukung hal ini. Bukan hal yang mudah untuk mengajak masyarakat agar mau menyekolahkan anak untuk bersekolah di Sekolah Luar Biasa. Terlihat dari jumlah disabilitas yang ada di Bengkalis ± 50% yang sekolah di Sekolah Luar Biasa. Oleh karena, itu dibutuhkan suatu strategi atau teknik tertentu dalam menarik minat masyarakat untuk memasukan atau menyekolahkan anak yang berkebutuhan khusus. Diantara berbagai macam strategi yang bisa digunakan oleh pihak pengelola adalah dengan melibatkan berbagai unsur yang menjadi acuan didalam melakukan strategi pemasaran yaitu product, price, place, promotion, people, pshycal evidence, process. Penelitian ini berbentuk library research dengan mengumpulkan data-data dari buku-buku, jurnal dan kamus-kamus, arsip terkait dengan permasalahan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif

Abstract

AbstrakKecemasan berbicara di depan umum (glossophobia) merupakan salah satu hambatan psikologis yang sering dialami siswa, ditandai dengan gejala fisik dan emosional seperti gugup, jantung berdebar, gemetar, lupa kata-kata, hingga menghindari situasi berbicara di depan umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan "Leadership for Youth" dalam mengurangi kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest satu kelompok. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala PRPSA (Personal Report of Public Speaking Anxiety), wawancara, dan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan (paired sampel t-tes). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti pelatihan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa keberhasilan pelatihan dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan berbicara di depan umum. Selain itu program ini juga meningkatkan rasa kepercayaan diri, keterampilan komunikasi, dan kemampuan berorganisasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan program intervensi serupa di berbagai pendidikan dan pelatihan. Kata Kunci: Leadership For Youth Training, Glossophobia, Siswa.  Abstract Anxiety about public speaking (glossophobia) is one of the psychological obstacles that students often experience, characterized by physical and emotional symptoms such as nervousness, heart palpitations, trembling, forgetting words, and avoiding public speaking situations. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of "Leadership for Youth" training in reducing public speaking anxiety in students. The research method used is a pseudo-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected through the PRPSA (Personal Report of Public Speaking Anxiety) scale, interviews, and observations. Data analyzed using paired sample t-tests. The results of the research indicate there was a significant difference between the anxiety score before and after participating in the training. This indicates that the success of the training in lowering the level of anxiety about speaking in front of the general public. In addition, this program also increases confidence, communication skills, and organizational skills. The results of this study can be used as a reference in the development of similar intervention programs in various education and training. Keywords: Leadership For Youth Training, Glossophobia, Students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi dan sikap etis dokter dalam pemberian surat keterangan dokter di lingkungan kerja. Surat keterangan dokter merupakan dokumen penting yang digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan administratif dan kesehatan karyawan. Namun, seringkali muncul kekhawatiran terkait penyalahgunaan dan ketidakpatuhan terhadap kode etik profesi dalam proses pemberiannya. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap dokter dan pengamatan langsung di fasilitas kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dokter terhadap pemberian surat keterangan sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor etika profesi dan tekanan dari lingkungan kerja. Sebagian dokter menyadari pentingnya menjaga integritas dan kejujuran dalam proses pemberian surat, namun ada juga yang menghadapi dilema moral ketika diminta untuk memberikan surat tanpa alasan medis yang jelas. Sikap etis dokter dalam konteks ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pemahaman terhadap kode etik dan komitmen pribadi terhadap profesionalisme. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan mengenai etik profesi dan penguatan sistem pengawasan untuk memastikan pemberian surat keterangan dokter dilakukan secara jujur dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

This community dedication aims to provide work readiness training to improve career orientation for Generation Z. The implementation of the service activity involved 60 students of SMKN 1 Bengalis who are in the Generation Z category. The training method used was discussion: groups, lectures, discussions, debriefs, experience learning, watching videos, films, games, and resource persons also convey their experiences and the experiences of other people who support them in getting a job. The time for implementing community service activities is divided into three periods: (1) the preparatory period; (2). Training implementation period (3). Evaluation. At the beginning of the training, participants are given a pre-test. At the end of the training, they are given a post-test and evaluation regarding the material, resource person or trainer, learning process, facilities and implementation. The material provided includes (1). Career orientation material, (2). Personal potential material, (3). Information material related to work or career (4). The material for determining goals or objectives is continued with material (5) Action plan material in designing the future regarding career, (6) Closing. Based on the results of measurements that have been carried out, it shows that work readiness training can improve the career orientation of participants, in this case Generation Z, so that they can direct Generation Z to increase opportunities for Generation Z to obtain decent work and pursue a career according to their potential in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to provide assistance to increase the acceptance of parents of children with special needs in the Autistic category. The method used is Psychoeducation. Psychoeducation is a method carried out to increase the acceptance of parents of Children with Special Needs in the Autistic Category. The participants in the dimming activity were parents of Children with Special Needs in the Autistic category, totaling 25 participants. Service participants have a pre-score, which is a low category in terms of parental acceptance. The method of psychoeducational activities consists of three main stages, as well as evaluation. In the preparation stage, the team first analyzed the needs of psychoeducation by conducting interviews with parents who have children with special needs in the Autistic category. Then, at the implementation stage, the activity included the delivery of material about parental acceptance of autistic children, the definition of Autism, the factors that cause Autism, sharing of the problems faced, and discussions. The results of the evaluation of this psychoeducational activity showed an increase in the average score from 22.40 in the pre-test to 67.20 in the post-test. Psychoeducation makes a positive contribution to the acceptance of parents of Children with Special Needs of autistic children. So that with increased acceptance from parents, it can increase the growth and development of autistic children through proper parenting.

Abstract

This study investigates the mediating role of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in the relationship among phubbing and social media addiction among undergraduate students. Excessive social media use and problematic smartphone behavior have increasingly been associated with psychological distress and addictive digital behaviors among young adults. Using a quantitative explanatory research design, data were collected from 291 undergraduate students through convenience sampling and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The measurement instruments were adapted from previously validated scales assessing phubbing, FoMO, and social media addiction. The findings revealed that phubbing had a significant positive effect on FoMO (β = 0.334, p < 0.001) and social media addiction (β = 0.359, p < 0.001). Furthermore, FoMO significantly predicted social media addiction (β = 0.671, p < 0.001). Mediation analysis demonstrated that FoMO significantly mediated the relationship between phubbing and social media addiction (β = 0.224, t = 4.98, p < 0.001), indicating a partial mediation effect. The structural model showed moderate explanatory power, with R² values of 0.540 for FoMO and 0.573 for social media addiction. These results recommed that psychological factors, particularly FoMO, provude to explaining how phubbing behavior is associated with dificult social media use among university students. This study contributes to the increasing theory on digital behavior by integrating behavioral and cognitive-emotional factors within a single structural framework.

Abstract

The persistently low mathematical ability and weakening sense of nationalism among elementary school students underscore the need for contextual, culturally responsive learning innovations. This study analyses the effect of implementing ethnomathematics through traditional Malay games on students' mathematical ability and nationalism. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was employed. The participants were 40 elementary school students from SD IT Alfatih, Bengkalis, divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through a mathematics achievement test and a nationalism questionnaire, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The results revealed a significant multivariate effect of ethnomathematics-based learning through traditional Malay games on mathematical ability and nationalism simultaneously (Wilks' Lambda = 0.216; p < 0.001). Follow-up univariate analyses confirmed significant effects on mathematical ability (F = 120.773; p < 0.001) and nationalism (F = 24.374; p < 0.001), with the experimental group attaining substantially higher posttest scores. These findings indicate that integrating traditional Malay games into mathematics learning enhances mathematical competence while strengthening nationalism, demonstrating the potential of ethnomathematics to unite cognitive and affective outcomes within a single culturally grounded framework.
