Abstract

The problems found in SDN Karangroto 02 Semarang related to the knowledge of folklore about the origin of Semarang is still very low, this is what is the reference for a study related to literature review based on folklore in various regions to instill character education. The purpose of this study is to instill students' character skills related to the folklore of the origin of Semarang. The novelty in this study is related to the story of the origin of Semarang by using various interesting media during the learning process. The research method used is a qualitative literature review, where data collection uses various articles related to character building based on regional folklore that is still related to the origin of Semarang. The data collection technique in this study compares various existing articles, whether various similar articles are capable of increasing character building in students. The results of the review of various existing articles have experienced a lot of good understanding related to character building in students related to story analysis. It can certainly be concluded that the analysis of the folklore of the origin of Semarang is able to instill character education in elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan Smart App Creator (SAC) guna meningkatkan pemahaman operasi hitung siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta validasi dari ahli media dan materi. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas III SD Negeri Rimbukidul 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan layak dan praktis digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan tanggapan siswa. Media interaktif ini memuat animasi, video, audio, dan kuis untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Disarankan agar pengembangan media berbasis teknologi seperti ini terus dilakukan guna meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep abstrak dalam matematika.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes learning that is relevant to the characteristics, needs, and culture of students. However, the results of observations in class 5 of SDN Kalisari 1 Sayung, Demak showed that learning was still conventional and did not integrate the culture of students. This triggers a lack of student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the implementation of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) to motivate student learning in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive case study type. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is able to overcome conventional and monotonous learning problems into learning that is more enjoyable, meaningful, and integrated with the culture of students. In addition, learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) can motivate student learning as indicated by activeness in learning, involvement in group discussions, confidence in their abilities, perseverance in doing assignments, and not giving up easily when facing difficulties.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability of students to understand concepts in the subject of science and science, students are confused about what first step to take to solve the problem. This study aims to determine the effect of the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning model assisted by dioramas on the ability to understand the concept of science of grade III students of SDN Genuksari 02. The instrument used was a test, where the researcher gave a pretest to students before being given treatment and a posttest after being given treatment. This study uses a quantitative approach of the pre-experimental type with a One Group Pretest Posttest design form with 22 students as research subjects. The data analysis technique used was the Paired Sample T-Test through the SPSS 26 program. The results showed that the average pretest score of students 32.36 increased during the posttest to 84.55. The significance value of the Paired Sample T- Test test was 0.000 where 0.000 <0.05. So, it can be concluded that the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic model assisted by dioramas has an effect on the ability to understand the concept of science of grade III students of SDN Genuksari 02

Abstract

In Indonesian subjects, the conventional learning model is still used by teachers, the source of material used is limited to LKS books that are not relevant to the background and culture of students, so that this is the reason for the lack of interest in learning students. The purpose of this study is to identify students learning interests using the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model based on the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. The research was carried out at SD N Kalisari 1 in November 2024. The sample used was all class VI students totaling 36 students. Techniques in collecting data using questionnaires. The results of the study showed that students who had a high interest in learning reached a percentage of 58.33%, the medium interest criterion was 41.66%, and the low criterion was 0%. The average percentage of students interest in learning showed high criteria with a result of 76.02%. It can be concluded that the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model based on the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach can increase students interest in learning Indonesian subjects.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini bermula dari rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa di SD Negeri Asempapan yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya kedisiplinan dalam proses belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara disiplin belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar kognitif matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis ex post facto, melibatkan 52 siswa kelas V yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket kedisiplinan belajar dan tes hasil belajar kognitif matematika berbentuk pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kedisiplinan belajar siswa berada dalam kategori rendah (mean = 66,8), sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif matematika berada dalam kategori sedang (mean = 70,63). Uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menghasilkan nilai r = 0,595 dengan signifikansi p = 0,000 (< 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kedisiplinan belajar dengan hasil belajar kognitif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi kedisiplinan belajar siswa, maka semakin tinggi pula pencapaian hasil belajar kognitif matematika mereka. Kesimpulannya, kedisiplinan belajar mempunyai kontribusi penting terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the monopoly-assisted PAKEM model (Active, effective, creative, effective and fun learning model) on the critical thinking skills of grade 5 students of SD Negeri Demaan. Research using quantitative methods with experimental research types. The experimental design form used Quasi Experimental Design with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study involved two groups: an experimental class and a control class. The subjects in this study were grade 5 Demaan state elementary school which amounted to 45 students. Data collection is in the form of a description type test of 10 questions given for pretest and posttest. The data analysis techniques used are normality, homogeneity and hypothesis test consisting of Independent sample t-test and Paired sample t test. Before carrying out the data collection process, conducting instrument trials first consists of validity, reliability, differentiation and difficulty tests. The average pretest result of the control class was 40.83 and the posttest was 40.95 While the average experimental class pretest results obtained were 44.06 and posttest obtained 80.63. The paired sample t test of the experimental class obtained results in the lower column of -41.90 upper of -31.23 and the significance value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted that there was a significant effect of using the monopoly-assisted PAKEM model on the critical thinking ability of grade 5 students of Demaan state elementary school. Therefore, educators or teachers can apply the Monopoly-assisted PAKEM model to improve students' critical thinking.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Smart Box learning media for energy materials and analyze the level of feasibility, practicality and effectiveness in improving learning outcomes in improving students' critical thinking. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with stages including needs analysis, media design, development, expert validation, and trials. The subjects of the study were students with a total of 25 students. The data research instruments used include expert validation sheets, teacher and student questionnaires as well as tests in the form of posttests. The results of the study showed that Smart Box media obtained a validation score of 0.875 with the category "Very Feasible", thus meeting the standards of feasibility of content, presentation, and design of learning media. From the practical aspect, the results of the questionnaire showed that the teacher's response reached 88% and the student's response reached 87.2% which was included in the "Very Practical" category. This shows that the media is easy to use, engaging, and helps the learning process in the classroom. The effectiveness of the media was measured from the postest results which showed that the average student score was 87.60, which had exceeded the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 75. The results of the statistical test of one t-test showed that the t-value of 8.9872 was greater than the t-table of 2.0639, so that the results of the study significantly improved students' critical thinking skills in fulfilling the KKM. The percentage of classical completeness reaches 96%, which shows that the media is in the category of very effective. Thus, the Smart Box learning media developed by the researcher is declared feasible, practical and very effective for use in energy materials in Natural Sciences (IPA) class IV subjects and can improve the quality of learning outcomes to improve students' critical thinking skills in elementary school.
