Abstract

Organizations, both formal and non-formal, that have direct contact with young people have not fully focused on providing facilities that support these young people, especially GenZ, in entering the world of work. This study aims to analyze Generation Z (Gen Z) and employer representatives’ view on current and future work field. Utilizing focus group discussion (FGD) and webinar involving GenZ and employer representatives, we collect data from GenZ and firms representatives. The data is analyzed using descriptive methods. This study identifies some expectation of GenZ related to work field and their thoughts to anticipate the work field needs. Meanwhile, this study also describes the employers’ hope that Gen Z should have some information related to the competitive and other contextual condition condition of workfield and be equipped with some skills to cope with the work field condition. The result of the study asks for the existence of organization that is taking the role as the relevant skill-knowledge provider and advisor to the GenZ before they enter work field. Regarding this, we recommend the existence of organizations that work directly with youth and provide: (1) character education, (2) training with business practitioner to improve soft skills, especially in terms of personal branding, teamwork and building networking, and (3) learning curriculum that gives more portion on practice.

Abstract

Leaders must continue to learn and adapt to effectively lead their organizations. Leadership style is a key aspect in ensuring the organization's sustainability, especially after the world suffered from the Covid 19 pandemic. To develop a sustainable company by learning from pandemic occurrences, a new breakthrough in leadership style is required. This article provides a new alternative strategy for leaders in managing their organizations in the context of sustainability. The strategy is obtained from the process of identifying the impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic. Not many Indonesian researchers have considered sustainable leadership styles in studying organizations resilience. The method used is a literature study by identifying changes that arise due to the pandemic. Data analysis was carried out by conducting a critical and thorough study of the related literature and described descriptively. There are three main components need to be considered by the organization to ensure its sustainability: (1) Cultivating core values; (2) Human Resources Management; and (3) Ability to adapt.  (1) Cultivating core values; (2) Human Resources Management; (3) Ability to adapt. Conclusion: Based on these three components, organizations can implement sustainable leadership by “MOVING strategy" (Making value embedded, Orientation to human, Always Adapting) as a form of effort for organizational sustainability that is obtained from learning about the Covid 19 Pandemic

Abstract

Purpose – The objective of this study is to evaluate the influence of organizational agility on social sustainability, organizational support, and organizational culture in credit union cooperatives. Furthermore, it examines how organizational support and organizational culture influence the connection between organizational agility and social sustainability. Methodology – The study adopted a quantitative methodology, utilizing questionnaires distributed to 173 people associated with credit union (CU) Angudi Laras and credit union (CU) Lestari. The data analysis was performed with Partial Least Squares (PLS) methodology, employing Smart PLS 3.0 software. The study comprises the research design, data gathering methods, scheduling, and intervention sequence. Findings – The results demonstrate a substantial and direct influence of organizational agility on organizational support, organizational culture, and social sustainability. The study emphasizes significant and positive results, which are substantiated by diagrams, graphs, and tables that depict the research findings. Originality – This study enhances the understanding of the social aspect of sustainability in credit union cooperatives by highlighting the impact of organizational agility, organizational support, and organizational culture. This study explores the impact of organizational support and organizational culture on organizational agility and social sustainability.

Abstract

MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises) are a crucial component of global economic expansion and exert a substantial influence on employment creation worldwide. Proper staff management is a critical determinant of success and sustainability for MSMEs in their operational endeavors. This study examines personnel management techniques and practices employed by MSMEs in the tourist sector focusing on CV OBKA Mandiri as a case study. The findings of this study demonstrate that CV OBKA Mandiri employs a distinctive method in managing their workforce. The organization places significant emphasis on fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork among its workforce. The employees are seen as integral members of the firm, with a strong emphasis placed on the value of teamwork. The belief in the significance of mutual success is held by individuals. This research also emphasizes the significance of employee engagement and motivation in the management of employees in MSMEs. CV OBKA Mandiri recognizes the correlation between employee motivation and engagement in their work and the subsequent positive impact on the firm. Furthermore, the findings of this study emphasize the significance of staff training and development within MSMEs. The firm has undertaken significant measures in this context, offering useful insights into the implementation of human resource management. This study offers significant contributions to the understanding of staff management within the context of MSMEs. The findings can serve as a valuable resource for MSMEs in addressing unique obstacles such as the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences.

Abstract

This community service program aims to build social welfare in Cu Lestari, Wonosobo. Through a participatory approach, the local community actively engages in formulating sustainable solutions to improve social conditions in the area. The focus of the program includes aspects such as education, health, and economics, with the goal of strengthening the foundation of welfare. The importance of this program lies in the urgent need to understand and address the social challenges faced by the community in Cu Lestari. With a collaborative approach, the program aims to provide sustainable positive impact, enhance the quality of life, and create positive changes in the daily lives of the residents. The community service method involves a series of participatory activities, ranging from problem identification to the planning and implementation of solutions together. The results include improved access to education, better healthcare services, and broader economic opportunities for the Cu Lestari community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy, time management and self-motivation on students' critical thinking skills. This study used 180 respondents who were students of the Faculty of Economics, Sanata Dharma University Batch 2020 and 2021. The method used was quantitative by distributing questionnaires, the data was processed using SPSS 25. The results of this study were that time management self-efficacy and self-motivation towards thinking skills partial critical effect on critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan mengeksplorasi hubungan antara Agilitas Organisasi, Dukungan Organisasi, dan Keberlanjutan Sosial dalam Credit Union Lestari, melibatkan 160 responden. Menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares (PLS), hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Agilitas Organisasi memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap Keberlanjutan Sosial, menyoroti pentingnya adaptasi cepat Credit Union terhadap perubahan sosial dan ekonomi. Selanjutnya, Agilitas Organisasi berkontribusi positif terhadap Dukungan Organisasi, menciptakan lingkungan internal yang responsif. Dukungan Organisasi, pada gilirannya, memengaruhi positif dan signifikan Keberlanjutan Sosial, menunjukkan peran kunci dalam meningkatkan praktik keberlanjutan. Penelitian menemukan bahwa Dukungan Organisasi berperan sebagai mediator sebagian dalam hubungan antara Agilitas Organisasi dan Keberlanjutan Sosial, menandakan bahwa program dukungan finansial atau pelatihan berkelanjutan dapat menjadi katalisator untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan dalam praktik sehari-hari. Implikasi manajerial termasuk pengembangan agilitas organisasi, peningkatan dukungan organisasi, dan promosi keberlanjutan sosial, membentuk Credit Union yang adaptif, responsif, dan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian memberikan pandangan praktis dan teoretis tentang strategi yang dapat diterapkan oleh Credit Union untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan dan dampak positifnya pada anggota, karyawan, dan komunitas.

Abstract

This study aims to develop leadership attitudes and ethics as well as a sense of responsibility among responsive and competent KOPMA USD administrators. The main problem faced is the lack of understanding and application of good leadership principles among the administrators. The methods used in this study include training, workshops, and intensive mentoring. The results show a significant improvement in the understanding and application of leadership ethics and responsibility among the KOPMA USD administrators. The administrators have become more responsive and competent in carrying out their duties, which is reflected in the increased performance of the organization and the satisfaction of KOPMA USD members. This study concludes that the leadership and ethics development program is effective in improving the quality of KOPMA USD administrators.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine the correlation between self-efficacy and voice behavior among student organization members. This investigation holds significant implications for comprehending the intricacies of student organizations within the context of Sanata Dharma University. The present study utilized a sample size of 250 to gather data, and data analysis was conducted with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique utilizing the Smart PLS 3 software. The findings of the study indicate that self-efficacy exerted a favorable and statistically significant direct impact on voice behavior. In addition, it is noteworthy to mention another key conclusion, which suggests that cultural intelligence and cultural organization serve as crucial and constructive mediators in the association between self-efficacy and voice behavior. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the interplay of self-efficacy, cultural intelligence, and cultural organization in influencing the voice behavior of members within student groups. By examining these elements, this research contributes to a more profound comprehension of the underlying dynamics that define these organizations

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proyek berkelanjutan di lingkungan kampus, dengan fokus pada pengaruh pendidikan karakter dan pengetahuan lingkungan serta peran mediasi sikap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS). Sampel terdiri dari 260 mahasiswa di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proyek berkelanjutan, dan sikap memediasi hubungan antara pendidikan karakter dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Selain itu, pengetahuan lingkungan tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung pada keterlibatan mahasiswa, tetapi pengaruhnya dimediasi sepenuhnya melalui sikap. Implikasinya, meningkatkan pendidikan karakter dan pengetahuan lingkungan di kalangan mahasiswa dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk memengaruhi sikap mereka terhadap praktik keberlanjutan. Langkah-langkah konkret yang dapat diambil perguruan tinggi adalah merancang program pendidikan karakter terarah, menyusun program pendidikan lingkungan yang mendalam, dan melakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk memahami lebih dalam faktor-faktor
