Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ICT-based Pancasila education learning media in Elementary Schools. So teachers need to improve their ability to process ICT-based learning media so that students are motivated and actively involved in learning. Based on these problems, this study aims to develop learning media in the form of Articulate Storyline 3 media using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Pancasila Education learning in grade IV of elementary schools that is valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of five steps, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The designed media is then validated by a validator using a validation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. Product validation consists of material experts, media experts and language experts. For product practicality, it is done by filling out a questionnaire of teacher responses and student responses. Then, for effectiveness, it is done by giving evaluation questions to students. The subject of the product trial was at SDN 04 Bukik Apik Puhun, Bukittinggi City and the subject of product research was at SDN 02 Percontohan, Bukittinggi City. The results of the study showed that the Articulate Storyline 3 media obtained a material validity of 77.5% (quite valid), language validity of 97.5% (very valid), and media validity of 87.5% (very valid). Based on the results of teacher responses and student responses at the trial school, it is known that learning using the Articulate Storyline 3 media is very practical with a percentage of practicality from teacher responses at the trial school of 92.5%, and a percentage of practicality from student responses of 90.5%. The percentage of teacher responses at the research school was 96.2% and the percentage of student responses was 89.6%. The results of the effectiveness of the learning media showed very effective results with a percentage reaching 89.2% with an effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Articulate Storyline 3 media with the Problem Based Learning model in grade IV of elementary school has been declared valid, practical and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

The scientific writing training for early childhood and kindergarten teachers in Singkarak, Solok Regency, aims to enhance the professionalism and writing skills of the teachers. The training was conducted virtually for one day, involving 25 participants. The methods used included lectures, Q&A sessions, group discussions, and practical exercises. Evaluation showed highly enthusiastic and active participation from the teachers, with significant improvement in their scientific writing skills. Evaluation results through writing assignments, satisfaction surveys, observations, and in-depth interviews indicated that participants were able to understand and apply scientific writing techniques more effectively. Technical challenges and varying levels of participant understanding were successfully addressed through an inclusive approach and adequate technical support. The training had a positive short-term impact by increasing the teachers' technical skills and confidence, and it is expected to have a long-term effect on improving education quality through the application of evidence-based teaching practices. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth-grade science students in elementary schools. The focus of the study is to determine the extent to which the problem-based learning model assisted by the Wordwall application affects students' motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to provide practical recommendations for educators in designing more effective learning strategies, especially in the elementary school context. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental method in the form of a pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of only one class as the experimental class, namely class Va. Learning outcome test in the form of multiple-choice questions based on cognitive indicators. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in student motivation and learning outcomes after the application of the problem-based learning model assisted by the Wordwall application. The statistical test used a t-test in the form of a paired sample t-test. This proves that there is a significant difference between the motivation scores and student learning outcomes before and after the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by the Wordwall application has a positive effect on increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of class Va students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low HOTS and learning outcomes of students in science learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) learning model on HOTS and Learning Outcomes of fifth grade elementary school. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental design) and a pre-action and post-action design. The results of the study show that: the t test is known to be tcount 1857> ttable 3160 and the sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05. on significant differences between students who learn using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) learning model and students who learn with conventional models on HOTS in science learning in fifth grade elementary school; the t test is known to be tcount 4.838> ttable 3.160 and the sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05. there is a significant difference between students who learn using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) learning model and students who learn with conventional models on student learning outcomes in science learning in grade V of elementary school; Manova test shows a sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05. there is a significant difference simultaneously or simultaneously between students who learn using the Teams Game Tournament learning model and students who learn with conventional models on HOTS and science learning outcomes in grade V of elementary school. Thus, it can be concluded that the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) learning model has a significant and effective effect in improving HOTS and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study looks at how important counseling is for improving the emotional and social health of young children. We evaluated previous research in this area through a review of the literature, highlighting the benefits of counseling in the child's early developmental stages. This study found that timely and targeted counseling interventions in early childhood can improve emotional well-being, social development, and academic achievement. The focus of such interventions is often a counseling approach that is play-based, involves the family, and supports the child's independence. Counseling has also been shown to help young children avoid more serious behavioral or emotional problems in the future. The practical implications of these findings highlight the importance of a holistic approach to supporting early childhood development and highlight the need for investment in mentoring resources at the early childhood education level.

Abstract

This research aimed to explain, analyze, and interpret the factors affecting the reading literacy skills of the fifth-grade students. This research used a mixed methods study. Data collection was carried out by direct observations, interviews, and minimum competency tests. In addition, the data analysis methods used in this research were data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that reading literacy was influenced by internal factors (low intelligence ability, low interest in learning, and low learning motivation) and external factors (lack of parental attention, influence of TV and cell phones, influence of playmates, lack of teacher ability, and limited facilities and infrastructure). Efforts that can be made to overcome students' low reading literacy skills include providing motivation, literacy activities, increasing teacher abilities, exceptional guidance, collaboration with parents, and utilization of infrastructure.

Abstract

What myths exist in society and what values are contained in society’s myths. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. In other words, to explain or classify myths and consider the values contained in myths in society. The next research approach is a structural approach, based on visible facts and not numbers. The data collection techniques used in this research were recording, observation and interviews. The data processing technique then carries out the steps of copying these myths with the recording results, turning them into meaningful stories and representations, then analyzing the values and interpreting the data to draw conclusions. The results of this research show that oral form of mythology is a literary work that must be preserved so that it does not become extinct. Thesemyths contain many benefits in human life through moral messages and religious teachings that can be applied in people’s daily lives.
