Abstract

Abstrak Studi ini merupakan Kajian Biblika Mengenai Pendidikan Anak dan Hakikat Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Pengkajian Alkitab amat penting karena Alkitab menyatakan bahwaanak-anak adalah subyek pelayanan dan masa yang menentukan dalam pengenalan akan Tuhan dan pertumbuhan iman menuju masa dewasa. Pada hakekatnya dalam dunia pendidikan, kategori anak usia dini adalah masa usia emas (golden age) untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai rohani dan pembentukan karakter serta memperkenalkan mereka dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan sederhana. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif yang dibangun dari penelitian literatur, dalam hal ini literature mengenai kajian Alkitab dan kajian teoritis yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan anak usia dini. Hasil studi memperlihatkan bahwa pendekatan proses pembelajaran yang relevan kepada anak usia dini tidak sekedar mengikuti teori-teori pembelajaran sekuler yang cenderung menekankan pengetahuan dan ketrampilans eorang guru/pendidik, kurikulum dan bahan pelajaran atau sarana yang canggih sertafasilitas belajar yang memadai melainkan penting sekaliadanya dasar-dasar FirmanTuhan (Alkitab) yang menjadi pedoman utama. Dengan demikian, satuan PAUD dan para guru dapat mempertimbangkan untuk menggunakan prinsip dan metode yang relevan dengan memberikan penekanan bahwa anak-anak usia dini sebagai subyek pendidikan yang perlu diberikan rangsangan untuk menolong mereka bertumbuh dengan utuh (holistic) baik rohani, karakter, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam perspektif Kristen.

Abstract

This study traces the traces of the Sociology of Religion theory (classic) from Max Weber which he described in his best-selling book entitled "The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism". The research was carried out by conducting a "book review" on the substance and ideas of Max Weber regarding the relationship between religious values ​​adopted by the adherents' work ethic. In this case Weber highlights the phenomenon of capital growth/capitalism in Europe which is the result of the work ethic of Protestants, especially the Calvinists there. Thus the Sociology of Religion recommended by Max Weber includes the relationship between religion and society which can also be called "the sociology of values". Therefore, values ​​become a driving factor in the participation and work ethic of humans individually and in groups created in development, namely economic growth and other aspects holistically

Abstract

The research in this article examines the Dynamics of Social Identity, Felt Needs and Orientation of Cultural Values ​​of the Local Community of Teremaal Village as a social group in North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province. This study shows that the villagers historically come from a community background that has rich cultural and natural resources, potential and local wisdom, which then by interaction and influence from outside communities have an open attitude to social change and community development. Thus, this study will contribute and stimulate a critical, creative and dynamic dialogue for the efforts of a complete development approach, both physically, emotionally and spiritually as well as contextually for the local community of Teremaal village. This is one of the elements in constructing a contextual theology, namely the theology of local wisdom (or theology from below) which leads to a holistic ministry

Abstract

This article carries out a ethnology or cultural anthropological study of the Tugutil tribe on the island of Halmahera, North Maluku as one of the most isolated tribes in Indonesia. With this study, it will determine the socio-cultural substance or their cultural values ​​that become potential in the contextual development of society. The cultural anthropological approach in this study was carried out using the literature study method to obtain data and information on cultural components ranging from history or origins, distribution, settlement patterns, economic cycles, inculturation of social groups and individual life cycles of the Tugutil tribe. Through this research, the socio-cultural substance or cultural values ​​of the Tugutil tribe that contribute to contextual human development efforts are determined. Thus, it can be concluded that contextual community development efforts must pay attention and give meaning to the context of the ecosystem, economy, and ecology of the Tugutil tribe who are familiar with forests, soil and water as their source of life. Abstract

This article is a conceptual study of the application of anthropology in cross-cultural gospel communication. The research was carried out using a qualitative method which was built from a review of the relevant literature. This study shows important aspects of God, Christ, the Gospel, Man, Society and Culture. The final result of this study shows that with the help of anthropology, a gospel communicator will be able to be creative, dynamic and relevant (contextual) with all aspects of human life and society comprehensively.

Abstract

This article is an ethnographic study of the Inculturation and Acculturation of the Baliem, as ethnic groups in the Land of Papua. The elements of inculturation under study consist of personality, leadership substance, ritual and communication, while the elements of acculturation studied consist of socio-cultural changes that occur in the Baliem community and their attitudes towards outside influences and other openness dynamics. This study shows that the Baliem ethnic group has a unique traditional cultural wealth and through the influence of the outside community has undergone socio-cultural changes which are supported by an open attitude to other communities. With such local wisdom, this study will contribute and stimulate learning, further research and a holistic community service and development approach, both spiritually, mentally and physically as well as dynamic contextually for the Baliem ethnic in Land of Papua.

Abstract

This article is a Study of Learning Contexts to Suggest Relevant Learning Strategies for Taman Kanak-Kanak Dharma Wanita Kalasey Satu, Minahasa. This study was conducted using a descriptive method through literature approach and empirical research related to the context and strategies of early childhood learning. The results of the study show that there are various learning contexts that are oriented towards children as educational subjects as well as various learning strategies that emphasize the role of the teacher as a facilitator in teaching and the participation of children as learners. Therefore, the PAUD unit studied, namely TK Dharma Wanita Kalasey Satu, was able to take advantage of several learning strategies that were relevant to the learning context, especially during this pandemic.

Abstract

This article highlights the “Contribution of Science in Theology”. A contemporary discourse that will briefly describe the general description of “The Essence of Science and Its Purpose” and “Theology and Dynamics”, then formulates the possibilities for the contribution of Science to Theology, or vice versa. This article is not a comprehensive description, but it is an article that will give a concise and concise review of the intended topic. The presupposition of the topic discussed can be formulated briefly that science contributes to developing the “adventure” of theological education. The process of gaining satisfaction in the world of theology is obtained in the same way as the process of acquiring science, namely: First, Starting with confidence and continuing by looking for supporting arguments (a priori). The Bible is the primary and absolute source, while tradition, literature, historical studies and experiments are complementary. Second, start with doubt and continue by looking for evidence of its justification (a posteriori). Primary and secondary sources are the same as above. Both of the above will not be discussed at length in this article, but will be described in such a way that eventually the reader will get an initial prediction that “science and theology” never “duel” each other but can be “mutual”, as well as “dialogue”.

Abstract

This article is a conceptual study of cultural elements and contextual evangelism approache according to the paradigm of Evangelical Christians. The research was conducted using a descriptive method built on relevant literature research (or documentary analysis). This study begins with conducting research on the dynamics of theological perception of the gospel and culture. Then proceed with the understanding of culture and cultural dimensions and their correlations which are important to determine the use of these dimensions in a contextual evangelistic approach. The final result of this study shows that the attention to culture in developing contextual evangelism approaches does not mean that the church has to fully adapt or assume there is a harmony between the gospel and culture. Precisely by understanding and utilizing cultural elements in contextual evangelism, it will appear that the gospel has an advantage with regard to the assurance of eternal salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, efforts to prepare a contextual evangelist who has integrity, character, and competence regarding the Bible and culture is very important.
