Abstract

Penelitian tentang studi kualitas kimia air pada kawasan mangrove Hutan Lindung Air Telang Kabupaten Banyuasin telah  dilakukan dari bulan Juli hingga November 2024, untuk membandingkan kualitas air sungai Musi melalui sifat kimia, pada 5 stasiun berdasarkan tipe vegetasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan menentukan pengambilan sampel bahan uji dan mengukur kualitas air yang dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, disesuaikan dengan zonasi mangrove. Stasiun pertama di kawasan pasir timbul, stasiun kedua di  zona Avicennia, stasiun ketiga di zona Sonneratia, stasiun keempat di zona Nypa dan stasiun kelima dizona Rhizophora.Analisis data dilakukan di laboratorium Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Pertanahan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan meliputi sifat kimia (DO, COD dan BOD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas air secara kimia di kawasan mangrove Hutan Lindung Air Telang memenuhi baku mutu air kelas II, sehingga sangat baik untuk kehidupan biota akuatik yang dalam pengembangannya dapat dijadikan sebagai kawasan pertambakan. Abstract

Insomnia is a common sleep disorder. Symptoms include difficulty sleeping, frequent awakenings, or waking up too early. There are several ways to overcome insomnia, one of which is a complementary approach. Insomnia can be overcome by doing acupressure massage at several acupressure points. Aromatherapy is also a way to treat insomnia. by using essential oils from plants which have calming properties and help the body relax. so the aim of this project is to develop a prototype of an aromatherapy pillow that is effective for treating insomnia. The method used is the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC), which consists of several stages, namely: Planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. This project begins with planning, preparing the team, namely determining ideas and partners for cooperation. Next, conduct a survey to collect data. Based on the survey results, a prototype of an aromatherapy pillow was designed and made. The pillow is designed by placing acupressure points on the pillow and combining it with lavender and lemongrass aromatics. After being produced, the pillow was tested on 5 respondents to get feedback and improvements were made if necessary. In the trials carried out there was a decrease in insomnia scores from respondents. The final stage is the evaluation of the entire project and preparation of a report. This product can help reduce insomnia and provide a sense of relaxation regarding insomnia. For this reason, we also hope that this product can be accepted by the public and can help other people's health. Keywords: Insomnia, acupressure, aromatherapy, pillow

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to find out: a the students’ ability in reading procedure text by using quantum teaching method, whether there is a significant effect of quantum teaching and on students’ ability in reading procedure text at the first grade of English Department Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan. The population of this research is 26 students of the first grade students of English Department Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan.. The samples of this research are 26 the first grade students of English Department Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan by using total sampling. This research uses the experimental method because the writer wants to try to use a new teaching method in teaching reading procedure text. The technique of collecting data is by giving observation sheet and test in multiple choices form for procedure text mastery to the respondents in order to measure their reading procedure text. The writer uses the formula of ttest to test the hypothesis. Through the hypothesis testing the writer found that ttest is greater than ttable (ttest>ttable). It means that there is a significant effect of quantum teaching on students’ ability to master procedure text.
