Abstract

Soil strength is one of the important factors for hydrological, biological and chemical processes. Soil strength information is needed for a wide range of government and private sectors related to climate weather, potential runoff and flood control, soil erosion and slope, water resource management, geotechnical engineering and water quality. Soil strength information can also be used for weather prediction, early warning of drought, irrigation scheduling and harvest forecasting. In its application, microcontroller technology will be used which functions as an automatic regulating device to work according to input specifications. In this case, the Arduino Uno microcontroller and the Soil Moisture sensor were selected. The goal is to determine the strength of the soil to prevent landslides and to test the feasibility of the soil for the soil moisture sensor parameter in the soil..

Abstract

PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, which is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in the banking sector. The current employee performance appraisal information system is still being processed semi-manually using the Microsoft Excel application, so it takes a long time to browse the data and the use of sheet space is too wide. So it is necessary to develop a system in order to create a system that is faster, more precise and accurate using web-based applications. In this study, the authors used several methods, namely observation, interviews and literature study. The data obtained is then described in the form of UML (Unified Modeling Language) and uses the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. This employee performance appraisal information system will be tested using the Blackbox Testing method. The final result of writing this thesis is the formation of a system procedure using the UML program which describes the current system analysis and the proposed system design. In addition, the authors hope that the design of this new web-based application can shorten the process of evaluating employee performance precisely and accurately.

Abstract

A complaint is defined as something that is unpleasant or something that is disturbing. Complaint behavior of the whistleblower is a very important phenomenon that must be understood by the owner of the company because the impact is directly related to the whistleblower. Complaints from Whistleblowers are not always negative because complaints from Whistleblowers are a form of their concern for the company's products or services. Whistleblowers who make complaints do not mean that they do not like the company's products and services, but it could be because they really like the company's services so that they hope that with the complaint the company's products and services can be of higher quality. From this problem, a UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagram is made which describes the interaction relationship between the system and the actor. Use Case can describe the type of interaction between the user of the system and the system. The method used in designing this information system is MySQL, and the application that supports the need to find a customer data.

Abstract

Pests are one of the main enemies for farmers which can reduce the level of production of these types of plants. One of the pests that often disturb rice farmers, among others, are bird pests, which are currently not a bit annoying with the continued increase in bird populations. The purpose of making this tool is to obtain a design of a prototype of a rice-eating bird repellent device based on Arduino Uno, which functions as a substitute for the task of farmers to protect rice plants from attacks by birds that eat rice seeds. This bird repellent uses a laser sensor as a detector and a servo motor as a rope mover. Arduino Uno (AT-Mega 328) microcontroller is used as tool controller and power supply as a power source.

Software is a systematic process program that functions as a tool command, tool testing by implementing tool work. The result of the research is that the tool can work well as desired and the power is stable for each component used.

Abstract

Air pressure measuring instrument with arduino microcontroller-based air pressure sensor uses c++ programming language. This research aims to be used by the general public to determine the air pressure on vehicle tires and provide early warning of air pressure conditions in tires, because many people who use motor vehicles often experience problems or accidents due to air pressure that is not in accordance with safety standards. Mpx5700AP sensor circuit connected to arduino uno, required a call library that serves to add program functions displaying characters on mpx5700AP. Then the MPX5700AP sensor is given air pressure by entering air through a straw or hose. After the air enters, the arduino will process and will be displayed by the LCD. If the air pressure exceeds 120kPa, the arduino activates the Buzzer.

Abstract

Cleanliness is a very important factor for human life. Good hygiene will reflect a healthy lifestyle. Dust is one of the factors that affect the cleanliness of a room. a lot of dust and scattered on the floor will make the room dirty. In this study, an automatic vacuum cleaner will be designed to clean dust on the floor in a room. In designing and making prototypes of this Arduino microcontroller-based vacuum cleaner, it was designed in terms of hardware and software.The test results of the vacuum cleaner run well and properly, but the dust suction is not strong enough so that it is not optimal for sucking large or heavy dust.

Abstract

Automatic water tank filling aims to fill tubs and torens automatically in order to save water, monitor water expenditure to be more controlled and make human work easier. the library study method collects data from sources related to the topic, hardware schematic design process and how the tool works, systematic software programs as commands for tools, tool testing implements tool work. The results of the research that made the tool work automatically well as desired, as well as stable power distribution to each sensor used.

Abstract

The outbreak of the issue in 2022 related to foot and mouth disease which is a viral outbreak experienced in ruminant livestock. This virus outbreak is a virus that is easily transmitted and attacks all types of animals that have even or split nails. The spread of this epidemic is very troubling for the breeder, one of the cattle or cattle breeders. Where as a result of this outbreak, many cattle breeders suffered enormous losses both in terms of finances and the time of raising their livestock. The reason is that many cattle breeders, especially in rural areas, do not know how to treat this disease early and require a large amount of money if the cattle are examined by a veterinarian. Therefore, to make it easier for cattle breeders, we need a way to find out the causes and conditions of cows suffering from mouth and hoof disease based on the symptoms experienced by cows, one of which is by using an expert system. Naive Bayes. The Naïve Bayes method is a probability method by predicting future opportunities based on past experience. As a result, the owner of the cow should treat the cow so as to avoid death and infection to other animals.
