Abstract

This study aims to assess the shooting accuracy of athletes at the Ramayana Futsal Club using quantitative descriptive research methods combined with survey techniques. The study focused on a total population of 25 athletes who participated in training sessions at the club. A total sampling approach was employed, meaning all 25 athletes were included in the study sample to ensure comprehensive data collection and analysis. The primary objective was to evaluate the shooting accuracy levels among these athletes and categorize their performance. The results of the research revealed that a significant portion of the athletes demonstrated vital shooting accuracy. Specifically, 40% of the participants achieved shooting accuracy within the outstanding category, indicating a high level of proficiency. Another 48% of the athletes fell into the excellent category, reflecting a solid but slightly less optimal shooting performance. However, 12% of the athletes were categorized as having poor shooting accuracy, suggesting areas that need improvement. From these findings, it can be concluded that while the overall shooting accuracy of the Ramayana Futsal athletes is generally good, there is room for improvement. The results highlight the need for a thorough analysis of shooting accuracy factors and suggest that a specialized training model should be developed. Such a model would aim to address the specific deficiencies and enhance the shooting skills of athletes, thereby improving their overall performance on the field.

Abstract

The need for small games is still a severe concern for PJOK SD teachers in the Rambang Kapak Tengah subdistrict, considering that the problems faced by students in the current technological era impact the poor quality of students’ motor skills. Small games play a crucial role in physical education as they allow students to develop various skills in a fun and engaging way. These games help improve physical fitness and promote teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking. By incorporating small games into physical education classes, teachers can create a dynamic learning environment that motivates students to participate actively and develop a lifelong love for physical activity. This research aims to determine the development of small games for valid and practical motor skills for Prabumulih City elementary school students. This research is an RnD research with an ADDIE research design. Field trials were conducted on students at SDN 62 in the Rambang Kapak Tengah subdistrict. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out based on percentage analysis. This research produced ten types of small games for students’ motor skills. These games include the Jaripapat game, the popular game, the Ringkup game, the Lakar game, the lontang game, the Keder game, the Umkap game, the Lekar game, the Lorung game and the Lodeng game.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an effective drill training model to improve smash shot ability in two main directions, namely the straight direction and the cross direction, in volleyball. This training model is designed by taking into account the basic principles of smash technique, body regulation, strength and speed, as well as consistency in training. This research and development procedure uses the Borg & Gall steps. The research design for the development of the Borg & Gall development model is then changed to be simpler and also according to the needs of researchers which involves seven main steps: 1) Preliminary study, 2) Planning 3) Initial draft design , 4) Validation of initial drafts and revisions, 5) Small scale 6) Final product, 7) Effectiveness Test. Small scale trials were carried out at Dehasen Bengkulu University Extracurricular with a sample of 10 people and large scale trials were carried out at the Savvana Volleyball Club with a sample size of 15 people. The effectiveness test was carried out by the two clubs, each taking 10 samples to make 20 samples and testing them through prerequisite tests, namely 1) normality test, 2) homogeneity test 3) sample t test. The results of the research are that the final product is produced in the form of a model for the development of drill smash training in straight and cross directions with Root obstacle media to increase the accuracy of smashes in volleyball athletes. Very feasible” which was analyzed through the Aiken V test, with a material expert score of 0.81, media expert 0.96, small scale trial 0.90 and large scale trial 0.93 with an average criteria value of “Very High”.

Abstract

The study focused on increasing student motivation and academic achievement in physical education, sports, and health (PJOK) subjects at PGRI Kundi Junior High School by implementing Merdeka curriculum-based strategies. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving 10 eighth-grade students, 2 teachers of physical education, sports, and health subjects, and the school principal. The data analysis revealed that both teachers and students experienced improved learning motivation and academic outcomes. The collaborative approach between teachers and students fostered a more relevant and dynamic learning environment, further enhancing the quality of education. The effectiveness of this strategy highlights the potential for more contextual and relevant learning methods that align with the demands of the Merdeka curriculum. By engaging students in a more flexible, student-centered curriculum, their enthusiasm and commitment to learning are significantly heightened. The positive changes in teaching methods and assessments have not only improved students’ physical skills but also supported their overall academic performance. This approach has proven particularly beneficial in fostering a deeper connection between students and their learning processes. Teachers play a crucial role in maintaining this momentum by continually adapting their strategies to the evolving needs of their students. The success of the Merdeka curriculum in this context suggests that similar approaches could be effective in other subjects as well. Ultimately, this model presents a promising avenue for enhancing educational outcomes in diverse learning environments.
