Abstract

This research aims to identify misalignment of the rotor dynamics based on sound spectrum characteristic. In this study, rotor dynamics consist of motor, shaft, coupling and bearings. Three types of misalignment were considered, namely parallel, angular, and combination misalignment. In order to obtain the best signal, microphones were used as sensors to capture sound signal placed on coupling and each bearing. The signal obtained was in time series. The sound signal in the time domain is then filtered to remove noise signals, which are then transferred to be signals in the frequency domain using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). From the test results, it is found that in the case of parallel misalignment, the sound frequency spectrum is obtained with a peak amplitude at 2x rpm. The case of angular misalignment obtained a sound spectrum with a peak amplitude value and is dominant at 1x rpm than 2x rpm. Meanwhile, in the case of a combination of parallel and angular misalignment, a peak amplitude sound spectrum appears at 1x rpm and 2x rpm with relatively close spacing between the peaks of the sound spectrum. The result shows that sound signal can be used for identification of misalignment of the rotor dynamics.

Abstract

PLTA Musi merupakan pembangkit listrik tenaga air dengan tipe Run of River (RoR) yang dimana bekerja dengan cara membelokkan sebagian aliran sungai musi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai energi primer pembangkit. Pada Cooling Water System PLTA Musi terdapat Cooling Water Pump (CWP) yang berfungsi untuk memompakan air dari draft tube ke bagian peralatan yang membutuhkan sistem pendingin pada saat unit dioperasikan. Dalam pengoperasian pompa dapat terjadi berbagai masalah yang menimbulkan kerusakan, salah satunya disebabkan oleh getaran. Analisa getaran merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung untuk meminimalisir terjadinya getaran berlebih pada pompa. Kegiatan predictive maintenance dalam bentuk conditional monitoring vibration atau pemantauan getaran kondisi aktual dilakukan untuk mengetahui gejala kerusakan pada Cooling Water Pump. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur VibXpert II berdasarkan standar ISO 18016-3 dengan kondisi operasi putaran poros 1486 RPM, daya 90 kW, dan 4 titik pengukuran. Nilai vibrasi tertinggi terdapat pada posisi DE Pompa dengan arah horizontal sebesar 3,71 mm/s. Nilai vibrasi tersebut sudah berada pada area alarm. Hasil analisa spektrum yang didapat pada penelitian diketahui jenis gangguan yang terjadi berupa indikasi kerusakan Mechanical Looseness Tipe B pada titik pengukuran DE Motor dan Mechanical Looseness Tipe C pada titik pengukuran DE Pompa.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe use of information technology in educational institutions be necessary for work to be efficient and flexible. The process of reporting student data and assessment results at SMA Negeri 1 Dharmasraya is still manual using paper (paper-based), and there is no specific storage for the database. To make reports on student learning outcomes and share resources easier then an information system was built on a client-server network using object-oriented programming with a centralized database so that the stored data can be organized. The build systems using the System Development Life Cycle waterfall model, which starts from the analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The results of this study are the establishment of a multiuser system that implements the use of client-server computer networks to process student grades.Key Words: Client-Server, Information Systems, OOP

Abstract

The Vertical Axis Wind Turbines are very suitable for use in areas with very low wind speeds. This research makes a prototype of the Savonius wind turbine to produce electrical energy as an energy source to 2 x 3.7 Volt dry battery. The Savonius turbine has four blades made of PVC. The controller circuit consists of a Boost Converter circuit and an astable multivibrator. At a speed of 2.7 m/s, the wind turbine starts to rotate and produces a no-load voltage of 0.3 V. At a speed of 3.7 m/s a voltage of 2 V is generated and can charge the battery. By using an LED (Light Emitting Diode) in the controller circuit, the charged battery can be a source of voltage in the controller circuit and the LED indicator light can be lit.

Abstract

Indonesi merupakan Negara dengan konsumsi tanaman padi tertinggi di dunia. Pemerintah mentargetkan swasembada beras sehingga terus mengusahakan peningkatan produktivitas padi nasional. Salah satu solusinya adalah dengan mengembangkan teknologi Salibu. Pengembangan Teknologi Salibu selain memberi banyak keuntungan juga memiliki kendala, seperti tidak semua daerah dapat menerapkan teknik ini dan tenaga ahli yang masih kurang dan belum tersebar. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dirancang suatu aplikasi yang mampu merekomendasikan kondisi suatu daerah Cocok atau Tidak Cocok atau Cocok Bersyarat untuk diterapkan teknologi Salibu. Aplikasi yang dirancang menggunakan sistem pakar dengan metode Certainty Factor dan interface Android. Hasil yang didapat interface berkerja dengan baik. Tingkat akurasi 91,11 % dan kepuasan pengguna 90,5 %. Oleh karena itu dapat dikatakan aplikasi sistem pakar untuk mengidentifikasi kecocokan suatu daerah menerapakan tekonologi Salibu telah dapat digunakan.

Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has long encouraged the use of renewable energy, but in fact there are still many people who use primary energy. Seeing this, the idea emerged from the Community Service Team by Bengkulu University lecturers to design and implement Solar Power Plants (PLTS). This renewable energy idea was implemented at the Qoryah Thoyyibah mosque, Kandang Limun Kota Bengkulu. The purpose of this service is the implementation of Appropriate Technology, namely PLTS for alternative energy supply at the Qoryah Thoyibah Mosque facility. So that if there is a power outage by PLN, the facilities at the Qoryah Thoyyibah Mosque can still operate according to their functions. This service method is carried out by two methods, namely counseling and implementation of PLTS Appropriate Technology. It is hoped that in the future by designing and building PLTS as an alternative energy source at the Qoryah Thoyyibah Kandang Limun mosque in Bengkulu City, the backup electricity supply will be fulfilled and we will not always depend on PLN, besides that it can also reduce the monthly cost of electricity at the Qoryah Thoyyibah Mosque. The result of Community Service activities with the 2023 Development scheme is that PLTS has been installed with an AC source to operate lighting lamps with a capacity of 100 WP for PLTS and lamps of 800 Watts. So that it can be operated as a source of lighting for Qoryah Thoyyibah mosque facilities in a state where there is no source from PLN.

Abstract

Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a pregnancy complication that is often overlooked as it is typically considered normal. If HG is not properly treated, nutrition will not be fulfilled which can negatively affect maternal and fetal health and even maternal and fetal death. The exact cause of HG is not identified, so there are no effective preventive methods. However early detection can help for prompt and appropriate treatment. Therefore, a monitoring system for pregnancy conditions was designed for HG early detection. This system employs the MPX5050 DP pressure sensor for measuring blood pressure, the MAX30100 for assessing maternal heart rate and oxygen saturation, the MAX4466 sensor for monitoring fetal heart rate, and an expert system using the certainty factor method to diagnose the probability of hyperemesis gravidarum. The expert system achieves an accuracy of 93.33%. In comparison to the aneroid sphygmomanometer, the designed sphygmomanometer reveals a mean difference of 3.5 mmHg for diastolic pressure, with a standard deviation below 8 mmHg for both systolic and diastolic pressures. The measurement of heart rate and oxygen saturation has a deviation of 1.8 % and 1.02 % respectively. These deviations align with the standards specified by the Ministry of Health for medical devices. For the fetal heart rate, the mean deviation is 3.4 bpm, and the measurement error is 2.38%. Thus, this system can be utilized to monitor pregnancy conditions, enabling the early detection of hyperemesis gravidarum
