Abstract

The present qualitative study explores the rationalization of 24(twenty-four) men reported to the police of conducting sexual offense, to justify their sexual offense or transgression. Denials vary from absolute denial, minimization, such as claiming of having mutual consent sex, denial of victim harm, and a rarer phenomenon but apparent in two subjects, a kind of depersonalization. More specific denials relate to gender-based rationalization is prevalent, such as having unharmonious relationship with wife therefore they need other women for sexual outlet, or the girls are not ‘good girl’. Very strong rationalization is related to the discourse on ‘female chastity’ in which offenders justify their behavior as OK since their target subjects are not ‘good girls’, be evidenced by they are not virgin anymore, hang out at night, or have relation with other men. Offenders who are in relationships with their victims need to prove the chastity of their female partner, or felt suspicious and angry about the past relationships of the girls therefore forcing sex or conducting sexual assault. Offender might adopt a ‘professional’, a ‘hero’, a ‘revenger’ as well as a ‘victim’ role. All cannot be separated from the cultural context of Indonesia and are explaining the beliefs of male offenders about men as superior and having authority over women. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep-konsep dasar penelitian pendidikan dan relevansinya dalam meningkatkan kualitas karya ilmiah di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis yang mendalami literatur terkait dasar-dasar penelitian serta penerapannya dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap konsep-konsep dasar penelitian, seperti perumusan masalah, tinjauan pustaka, pemilihan metode, dan analisis data, berperan penting dalam membentuk karya ilmiah yang lebih sistematis, kritis, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan Islam. Namun, penerapan konsep-konsep tersebut masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap literatur ilmiah dan kurangnya pendampingan akademik. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, diperlukan strategi berkelanjutan seperti pelatihan metodologi penelitian, peningkatan akses terhadap literatur, dan penguatan budaya akademik di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Dengan demikian, penguatan konsep-konsep dasar penelitian diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas karya ilmiah yang berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan pengetahuan dan praktik pendidikan Islam

Abstract

The present study aims to elucidate the struggles of Islamic education teachers for the enactment of the 2013 Curriculum, the national curriculum, in Aceh, Indonesia adopting Michael Fullan’s framework. Grounded in a case study approach, data were garnered through in-depth interviews situated in senior secondary schools. Twelve urban and rural Islamic education teachers were recruited to participate in this case study. The study was conducted in six regencies. Study findings demonstrate that urban Islamic education teachers applied the objectives, materials, methods, and learning assessments in accordance with the government-prescribed curriculum. Rural Islamic education teachers did not receive sufficient facilities to enact the national curriculum. This study exposes that Fullan’s framework could be adapted to illuminate the best practice and understanding of Islamic education teachers in implementing the national curriculum, i.e.: building leadership communication, creating a conducive atmosphere and overcoming emerging problems, organizing teacher discussion forums, determining professional goals, building the capacity of educators, strengthening positive evaluation, and strengthening financial management. The study also indicates that support from the school and government is pivotal to require for Islamic education teachers to guarantee the quality of education in supporting the enactment of the government-mandated curriculum. Curriculum development, therefore, needs to be communicated to Islamic education teachers regarding the sustainable development of teacher competencies, e.g. organizing seminars, workshops, and developing learning materials

Abstract

Rendahnya partisipasi dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MAS Raudhatun Najah menjadi tantangan utama dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Ketergantungan pada metode ceramah yang monoton menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dan sulit memahami nilai-nilai keislaman secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menilai kelayakan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis Quizizz Mode Paper sebagai alternatif bagi sekolah yang memiliki keterbatasan teknologi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang mencakup tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Quizizz Mode Paper dinilai sangat layak dan efektif berdasarkan validasi ahli serta uji coba terbatas, karena mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Akidah Akhlak. Implikasi penelitian ini bahwa adaptasi teknologi pembelajaran ke dalam format cetak dapat menjadi solusi strategis bagi sekolah yang belum sepenuhnya terdigitalisasi, sekaligus mendorong guru untuk berinovasi menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan berorientasi pada karakter Islami
