Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh beban kerja, kompetensi dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan motivasi sebagai variabel intervening terhadap kinerja karyawan Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Semarang. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah beban kerja, kompetensi dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional sedangkan varaibel dependennya adalah kinerja karyawan dengan variabel intervening motivasi. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sempel metode sensus sebanyak 54 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang hasilnya diolah menggunakan SPSS 2.3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja, kompetensi, dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Beban kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh terhadap motivasi namun kompetensi tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi. Sedangkan motivasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Background: Many MSMEs are switching to online businesses and utilizing digital technology to maintain their businesses.Purpose: This study aims to determine and examine the effect of product innovation, HR competency, and marketing performance on the financial performance of MSMEs in the Agricultural Sector in Semarang City after the Covid-19 pandemic with digitalization as a mediating variable.Design/methodology/approach: This study uses quantitative methodology and a causal associative approach. Data was collected through an online questionnaire distributed to MSME owners in the Agricultural Sector via WhatsApp, with questions filtered based on respondent characteristics. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The number of samples in this study was 150 business owners. Data analysis used partial least squares-structural equality modeling (PLS-SEM).Findings/Results: The results of this study indicate that product innovation, marketing performance, and digitalization have a significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, HR competency has had no significant effect on the financial performance of MSMEs in the Agricultural Sector in Semarang City after the COVID-19 pandemic. Digitalization has been proven to mediate the influence of product innovation, HR competency, and marketing performance on the financial performance of MSMEs in the Agricultural Sector in Semarang City.Conclusion: Product innovation, marketing performance, and digitalization have a significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, HR competency has not had a significant effect on the financial performance of MSMEs in the agricultural sector in Semarang City since the COVID-19 pandemic. Digitalization is proven to mediate the influence of product innovation, HR competency, and marketing performance on the financial performance of MSMEs in the Agricultural Sector in Semarang City.Originality/value (State of the art): State of the art in the era of digital transformation. Given that digitalization is increasingly becoming an important part of the global economy, this study is relevant to the current trend of digital technology adoption by MSMEs. This study can broaden the understanding of how small and medium-scale MSMEs can utilize digitalization to improve their competitiveness and financial performance, which is a growing research area globally. Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bulusan Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City, in determining the right target market before selling products. Determining the target market is a very important strategic step for SMEs to ensure that their products can be accepted and compete in the appropriate market. However, many SMEs still face difficulties in understanding relevant market characteristics and effective segmentation strategies. The method used in this activity is through socialization, with the material provided including an introduction to the concept of segmentation, targeting, and positioning (STP), consumer needs analysis, and determining the target market using a simple and applicable approach. The results of the activity show that SMEs who participate in this program have a better understanding of the importance of the target market, are able to identify potential market segments, and begin to implement more targeted marketing strategies. The impact is an increase in the effectiveness of product marketing and the potential for increasing the competitiveness of their businesses in the local market. This activity is expected to provide a real contribution in supporting the development of SMEs in the Bulusan area, Tembalang District, Semarang City

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi untuk mengoptimalkan pariwisata di kota Semarang. Variabel yang diuji untuk mengoptimalkan keputusan mengunjungi obyek wisata di kota Semarang secara langsung adalah Gaya Hidup, Destinasi Image, Atribut Produk Wisata dan Electronic Word of Mouth merupakan variabel yang diduga memoderatori pengaruh Gaya Hidup pada Keputusan berkunjung pada obyek wisata di kota Semarang. Populasi adalah semua pengunjung obyek wisata di kota Semarang, sedangkan sampel ditentukan sebesar 100 responden dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling. Alat analisis yang dipergunakan adalah Structural Equation Medelling (SEM) dengan aplikasi program Partial Least Square (PLS) yaitu smartPLS.3.0 Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa semua Hipotesis didukung. Gaya Hidup, Destination Image dan Atribut Produk Wisata positif signifikan berpengaruh pada Keputusan berkunjung pada obyek wisata di kota Semarang. Electronic Word of Mouth terbukti berperan sebagai Pure Moderator dalam memoderasi pengaruh Gaya Hidup pada Keputusan berkunjung pada obyek wisata di kota Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and brand image on the marketing performance of Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Home Ownership Loan (KPR) products in South Sulawesi Province, with trust as a mediating variable. The main issue faced by BTN as the pioneer of KPR is the stagnation in the realization of KPR BTN products in South Sulawesi Province. The research employed a quantitative approach by collecting data through a survey of marketing developers with a sample size of 123. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings indicate that service quality does not have a significant direct effect on marketing performance. The relationship between these two variables must be mediated by trust. Meanwhile, brand image has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance. Furthermore, trust in KPR products was proven to act as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between service quality, brand image, and marketing performance. These findings emphasize the importance of improving service quality and managing a strong brand image to build customer trust, thereby enhancing overall marketing performance

Abstract

In the banking sector, employee performance is crucial for ensuring service quality and institutional competitiveness. This study examines whether training programs at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Karangayu Branch significantly affect employee performance and the extent to which competence and productivity mediate this relationship. It also aims to contribute theoretically by addressing prior research gaps and providing practical insights for improving training and employee development in the industry. The variables studied include training, performance, competence, and productivity within an empirical research model. Data were gathered from 65 employees of the Karangayu branch through interviews and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess direct and indirect relationships. Results show that competence serves as a key mediator linking training to performance, while productivity also mediates this causal pathway. Training enhances productivity, which then boosts performance, making productivity a reinforcing intermediary that strengthens the relationship between training and performance.

Abstract

The research was conducted to produce a formulation of the concept ofDecision to Buy Halal Products in Generation Z with Digital Marketingas a new paradigm of business success perspective, in New Students ofthe Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang The Decision to BuyHalal Products in Generation Z was built through efforts to identify theUse of Social Media, Marketing Influencers and Lifestyle with theUnderstanding of Halal Products as a moderation of the relationshipbetween the Use of Social Media and Lifestyle with the Decision to BuyHalal Products in Generation Z represented by New Students of theFaculty of Economics, University of Semarang. New students of theUniversity of Semarang became the population, while a sample of 175was calculated using the Lemeshow formula. Medelling StructuralEquation (SEM) analysis with the application of the Partial LeastSquare (PLS) program, namely smartPLS.4.0 is used to prove thehypothesis. The results of hypothesis testing show that the Decision toBuy Halal Products is actualized through the Use of Social Media,Influencer Marketing and Lifestyle. The Use of Social Media,Marketing Influencers and Lifestyle directly has a significant effect onthe positive direction of the Decision to Buy Halal Products,Understanding Halal Products is not able to moderate the relationshipbetween the Use of Social Media and Lifestyle in the Decision to BuyHalal Products. The decision to buy Halal products in Generation Z isinfluenced by the Use of Social Media, Marketing Influencer andLifestyle by 53.00%. The research model has a QSquare of 0.2809(>0), which means that the model has strong predictive relevance.Understanding Halal Products in Deciding to Buy Halal Products inGeneration Z.

Abstract

Temuan satu kasus positif pada anak perempuan berusia 6 tahun di Kecamatan Manisrenggo, Klaten, mengakibatkan ditetapkannya status Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) polio. Penetapan KLB oleh Kementerian Kesehatan, menjadikan setiap Lembaga yang terkait dengan kesehatan menyikapinya dengan melakukan outbreak response immunization (ORI), yaitu pemberian imunisasi polio massal kepada seluruh kelompok rentan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Sub PIN dan terkait dengan misi pertama kelurahan Bulusan dengan salah satu strategi Program Peningkatan Layanan Kesehatan, diejawantahkan dengan melaksanakan kegiatan yang menuju pada peningkatan rating Kelurahan Sehat. Salah satu cara yang efektif melalui kegiatan posyandu di setiap RW pada masing masing kelurahan.Pemberian Imunisasi kepada bayi dan balita sering mengalami penolakan dari keluarga. Penolakan dari para orangtua itu diketahui muncul di sejumlah daerah salah satu diantaranya adalah kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang bahkan ketika pemerintah kota Semarang menyelenggarakan Sub Pekan Imunisasi Nasional (Sub-PIN) Polio di hari pertama Senin (15/1/2024), sejumlah orangtua memilih untuk menandatangani surat penolakan vaksinasi.Sasaran Program Pengabdian Masyarakat tim Magister Manajemen adalah Tim Penggerak PKK khususnya kader Posyandu, Kelurahan Bulusan Kecamatan Tembalang yang menjadi garda terdepan terlaksananya kegiatan Posyandu.Permasalahan yang dicarikan solusi dalam pengabdian masyarakat adalah keterbatasan metode penyampaian informasi kepada khalayak sasaran terkait manfaat pentingnya imunisasi bagi bayi dan balita. Kegiatan ini berupa sosialisasi pada tim penggerak PKK, khususnya kader posyandu tentang bagaimana mengajak khalayak sasaran yang harus mengikuti program imunisasi bagi bayi dan balita berupa dialog interaktif dengan media LCD. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menjadi solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi Tim Penggerak PKK di kelurahan Bulusan terkait dengan mengkomunikasikan pentingnya imunisasi pada khalayak sasaran.
