Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang kini telah modern, diikuti juga oleh perkembangan para musisi dengan ditandai banyaknya lagu-lagu yang di ciptakan, Gabungan antara musik pendek dan lagu atau biasa di sebut nyanyian yakni menuai pro dan kontra dalam pandangan hadis, hal ini disebabkan karena banyak hadis yang mengharamkanya dan banyak hadis juga yang membolehkanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode tematik. Objek formal pada penelitian ini adalah Pandangan hadist terkait nyanyian yang dirumuskan berdasarkan tema-tema hadist. Objek material pada penelitian ini adalah nyanyian dalam perspektif hadis. Hasil daripada penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa tema-tema hadis terkait nyanyian dapat dirumuskan dalam kerangka teoritis moral islam dan etika nyanyian. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak sepenuhnya nyanyian itu dilarang oleh Hadis, akan tetapi terdapat beberapa aspek serta kriteria dalam hal ini yang menjadikanya di bolehkan, yang mana aspek dan kriteria tersebut mencakup situasi dan kondisi seseorang bernyanyi dan juga kepentingan dari nyanyian itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study examines the virtue of knowledge (fadl al-‘ilm) in Islam through a comparative analysis of two major Hadith compilations: Jami’ at-Tirmidhi by Imam at-Tirmidhi and Riyadhus Shalihin by Imam an-Nawawi. In Islamic teachings, knowledge occupies a central position in shaping character, building civilization, and serving as a spiritual means of drawing closer to Allah ﷻ. The first revelation commanding humankind to “read” underscores the fundamental importance of knowledge in Islam. Both Hadith collections selected for this research present narrations on the excellence of knowledge with distinct approaches and structures, making them particularly interesting to explore thematically.This study employs a qualitative methodology using a library research approach and thematic (maudhu’i) analysis. The research procedures include identifying Hadiths related to knowledge, classifying them into subthemes, conducting a comparative analysis of their wording, meaning, and context, and drawing conclusions on the similarities and differences in their presentation. The findings are expected to enrich the understanding of the methodological characteristics of both works in addressing the theme of knowledge, as well as to contribute to the development of thematic Hadith studies and Islamic thought in general.

Abstract

Noble character is the foundation of a healthy and well-functioning society. In the context of Islam, noble character is not only considered an important aspect of a Muslim’s personal life but also a vital component that determines the quality of social interactions and the community as a whole. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a thematic study of hadith and library research. The aim of the research is to identify the related hadiths and understand how noble character is applied in daily life. The results and discussion indicate that the values and formation of noble character in Islam consist of honesty, patience, generosity, and social responsibility. In daily life, honesty, patience, and generosity are often practiced. For instance, giving charity (sadaqah) is a form of generosity, and patience is exhibited by remaining patient and grateful when faced with adversity.

Abstract

The book Hashiyah 'ala Tafsir al-Jalalain by Ahmad al-Shawi is one of the most popular tafsir books in Indonesia, while Lailatulqadar is a night that is the favorite of the Muslim community every year. This article discusses lailatulqadar according to Ahmad al-Shawi in his interpretation including time, indicators and practices. The results of the research show that with regard to time, indicators, and lailatulqadar practices, al-Shawi not only explains in full the opinions of various scholars, both fiqh, hadith, and Sufism in a naqli manner, but also explains tajribi (experience) and is supported by history. from the scholars. The Tajribi aspect has a Sufistic character, this is possible because al-Shawi is a Sufi expert with a khalwatiyya tradition.

Abstract

The development of Islamic personality from an early age serves as a vital foundation in shaping a morally upright generation aligned with the spiritual and social values taught in Islam. In this context, the Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) function as ethical and moral guidelines that can be utilized to instill Islamic character in children. This study aims to examine the role of Hadiths in shaping children's personalities through the lens of developmental psychology. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research is based on a literature review, drawing primarily from selected Hadith collections and scholarly works on child developmental psychology. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify Hadiths that convey core character values such as honesty, compassion, responsibility, and discipline. The findings reveal that the values embedded in Hadiths are highly relevant to the psychological stages of child development, particularly in the domains of moral and social growth. The internalization of these values can be effectively achieved through age-appropriate strategies, including modeling behavior, positive reinforcement, and effective communication within family and educational settings. The study concludes that integrating Islamic teachings from Hadith with developmental psychology approaches offers a comprehensive and effective strategy for cultivating an Islamic personality in children. Therefore, the active involvement of parents and educators is crucial in applying these values in the daily lives of children

Abstract

The idea of deliberation taught in Islamic teachings is a fundamental principle in the collective decision-making process that prioritizes the values of justice, equality, involvement, and common welfare. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH gave a real example in implementing shur, which is involving the companions to discuss and consider opinions in solving important problems, both in the social, political, and social fields. The values contained in the deliberations actually have a very close wedge with the principles of modern democracy, which uphold public participation, transparency, and shared responsibility in realizing the welfare of the community. Therefore, this study aims to examine the hadiths that discuss the concept of deliberation and analyze how it is relevant and applied in contemporary democratic practice. Using a qualitative thematic analysis approach, this study identifies and collects a number of hadiths related to deliberation, then examines the values contained in them, such as community involvement, representative systems, and public accountability. The results of this research are expected to be able to enrich scientific treasures while contributing to strengthening the values of deliberation in the context of modern democracy, so that the principles of shura that have been exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH remain relevant and able to be implemented in the system of government and community life in the current era. Thus, this study also opens up opportunities for the development of discourse on the integration of Islamic values with the democratic system as a foothold for building a just governance

Abstract

This research discusses the application of Grounded Theory by Kathy Charmaz in the study of education based on hadith, focusing on the roles of parents, teachers, and the community. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores how the educational values in hadith are implemented within the community at Masjid At-Taqwa, Kampung Sukarela, Pulo Panjang Village, Serang Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations, revealing that the synergy among these three elements is crucial for creating a conducive learning environment. Parents serve as the primary educators instilling religious and moral values, while teachers act as facilitators who ease the learning process. The community supports education by fostering a learning culture and providing assistance to families. Findings indicate that active involvement from all parties can enhance educational quality and raise awareness of the importance of knowledge in daily life. This research aims to provide new insights into the application of educational values in a local context and encourage the community to be more active in seeking knowledge, thus producing individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also morally upright.

Abstract

This article discusses the Qur'an's views on disinformation and strategies that can be applied in dealing with this phenomenon in the post-truth era. In a context where information spreads quickly and often without verification, disinformation poses a significant challenge that can undermine social integrity and public trust. Using a qualitative approach and text analysis, this study explores terms in the Qur'an related to lies and deception, as well as emphasizing the importance of honesty and verification of information. Through the analysis of the verses related to this discussion, it was found that the Qur'an provides relevant ethical guidelines for dealing with disinformation. This study shows that a critical and selective attitude in receiving and disseminating news is very important, with an emphasis on tabayyun (verification) to avoid regret due to misinformation. The implications of these findings confirm that the principles of the Qur'an can serve as a moral guide in dealing with disinformation in the digital age, as well as contribute to people's efforts to strengthen social harmony and integrity.
