Abstract

Teacher teaching performance is the result of the teacher's work carried out during the learning process which includes planning, implementation and evaluation of learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-efficacy on teacher teaching performance. This research used a quantitative approach with an associative method involving 54 high school teachers in Tenjolaya District as respondents who were taken using non-probability sampling with a saturated sample. Data is collected primarily using a closed questionnaire or questionnaire using a Likert scale with 5 answer options (SL, SR, KD, P, TP), then the data is processed using inferential statistikal techniques which include classic assumption tests and hypothesis testing to determine the influence and how big it is. The influence of teacher teaching performance variables on self-efficacy variables. The research results show that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on the teaching performance of high school teachers in Tenjolaya District with a contribution of 43.5%. This means that teacher teaching performance can be improved through self-efficacy.

Abstract

This research explores the phenomenon of Wi-Fi rental for elementary school children. The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of Wi-Fi renters, Wi-Fi service providers, and parents in assisting children's use of Wi-Fi rentals. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects consist of 4 Wi-Fi renter informants, 2 Wi-Fi service provider informants, 4 parent informants of Wi-Fi renters, and 1 key informant who is a village official (RT). Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is performed using the Triangulation technique. The research findings conclude three main points. First, children have various experiences in using this service, with positive effects such as ease in finding learning resources, but also potential risks associated with unsupervised internet usage. Second, Wi-Fi service providers face various challenges, ranging from children's requests to rate and rental schedule management. Third, parents play a crucial role in guiding children when using Wi-Fi, including supervision, wise usage, and managing internet usage time. The tendency toward permissive parenting is due to parents' lack of knowledge in operating gadgets and post-Covid-19 pandemic habits.

Abstract

This research aims to describe teaching skills in learning Indonesian by providing skills in the learning process, because teachers often deliver material only using the lecture method without providing other skills in the learning process. Skills in learning Indonesian can be done by using the explanation method, not by the lecture method, but by using the skills possessed by a teacher or by using media which is used as a supporting tool for students with the aim of achieving predetermined learning goals. Thus, the better the teacher's way of delivering the material, the easier it will be for students to improve their understanding. This research uses a type of literature review research or library research. The literature review was carried out by collecting references consisting of several previous studies, which were then compared to draw conclusions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the prayer method in learning and its impact or influence on student learning achievement. The research used descriptive qualitative method which was carried out by collecting data obtained from documentation, observation and interviews, and supported by literature studies, both from books and journals. The results showed that the prayer method is very necessary in learning. However, in its implementation, the prayer method cannot stand alone. The prayer method in learning must be combined or integrated with other methods such as lecture methods, discussions, question and answer, storytelling, exercises (drills), sociodrama, and other methods. The prayer method is proven to make students peace of mind and are motivated to improve their learning achievements. Therefore, this method must be introduced and implemented in learning, both for educational institutions, especially Islamic educational institutions, as well as public schools. In addition, the teacher must plan every lesson, regardless of the method used in learning, both in class and outside the classroom, to guide students to pray, both before the lesson begins and before the lesson ends. Abstract

This research aims to discover the concept and making of the aqidah learning curriculum at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The primary data source of this research was obtained through direct observation at the research site and interviews with key informants from the leadership of Pondok Modern Gontor. This team compiled the aqidah learning curriculum and Gontor alums. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from indirect sources such as documents, books, magazines, journals, and other documentation. The study results show that the learning of aqidah in Gontor is developing in line with the challenges faced at the time. In the early days of Gondor's establishment, aqidah learning used aqidah books, which only existed in two classes, namely in grade 1 and grade 2. Around the 1990s, books for grades 5 and 6 were added. Then, the next one is added again for grade 4. As for grade 3, there are still no books. When this research was carried out, the Pondok Modern Gontor aqidah learning curriculum team planned to compile a book that would be used for aqidah learning in grade 3. So far, the material for grade 3 is Islamic taqiyah material, not aqidah material.

Abstract

The Community Service (PKM) activity carried out aims to prevent bullying among students. The media used is the Big Book with the service learning method. The location of the community service activity is at the Tarbiyatul Falah Al Baenuriyah Private Elementary School, Pamijahan, Bogor Regency. The target of this community service activity is 33 students in grade five. The stages of the activity consist of observation, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of this PKM activity went well and smoothly and provided several recommendations for further activities..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the aqidah learning curriculum at the Modern Islamic Boarding School of Darussalam Gontor. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Then, the primary data source for this study was obtained through direct observation at the research location and interviews with the leaders of the Modern Islamic Boarding School of Gontor and the aqidah learning curriculum development team. At the same time, secondary data were obtained from documents, books, magazines, and journals. The study results indicate that implementing the aqidah learning curriculum at the Modern Islamic Boarding School of Darussalam Gontor is carried out in class, outside class, and in the dormitory. The talqin method, lectures, discussions, questions and answers, recitations, prayers, dictations (imla), and memorization methods are used in class. The material for grades 1–3 discusses the pillars of Islam, while grades 4–6 discuss the pillars of faith. The material for grade 1 is delivered in Indonesian, and for subsequent classes, it is delivered using Arabic. While outside the classroom, aqidah learning is delivered using the talaqqi method, amaliyah practice, halaqah, mudzakarah, and demonstration methods. The teaching of aqidah is also strengthened through good deeds. To improve the quality of aqidah learning, the author recommends using a dialogue method between philosophy and Islamic aqidah. With this method, students are taught to understand the challenges of modern thought and answer them with Islamic arguments. In addition, it is also necessary to learn aqidah in a contemporary context by training students to apply the concept of aqidah in everyday life, especially in facing modern phenomena such as liberalism, secularism, materialism, and pluralism, as well as the challenges of digital technology developments that influence the process and implementation of learning.

Abstract

The ability to convey mathematical concepts verbally and non-verbally is known as mathematical communication. Students' mathematical communication can be improved through the ethnomathematics-based PBL model. This study aims to analyze the application of the ethnomathematics-based PBL model to enhance students' mathematical communication in mathematics subjects. The method used is a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted on fourth-grade students at SDN Cibening 01, Paamijahan District, Bogor Regency. The sample used was non-probability sampling, with a total sample in class IV, consisting of 30 students. The instruments used were students' mathematical communication tests and observation sheets to implement the ethnomathematics-based PBL model. The mathematical communication test was administered in two stages, namely pretest and posttest. The research obtained an average score of students' mathematical communication on the pretest of 50.78%, while on the posttest it was 82.07%. Data processing was analyzed using SPSS 26 for Windows with paired sample t-test with α (0.01) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.01. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' mathematical communication between pretest and posttest. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' mathematical communication before and after the application of the ethnomathematics-based PBL model in class IV SDN Cibening 01.

Abstract

According to the Survei Nasional Pengalaman Hidup Anak dan Remaja (SNPHAR) by the Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (KPPPA), 2 out of 3 children aged 13-17 years in Indonesia have experienced violence. One form of violence that often occurs is bullying. This happens because of a lack of understanding about bullying. This research aims to determine the efforts made to increase students' understanding of bullying and find out how much children's understanding has increased regarding the efforts made. The research uses a quantitative approach with pre-experimental methods and the research design used is one group pre-test post-test design. This research was conducted at MI TF Al-Baenuriyah with a total of 33 students as respondents. The research results show that efforts made through media such as videos, big books and posters that discuss bullying can increase children's understanding of bullying at MI TF Al-Baenuriyah. This increase reached a value of 0.5908 or 59.08%, including the category of moderate improvement or if we use a representation table of the percentage of N-Gain results, efforts to increase children's understanding of bullying are quite effective.

Abstract

The school's image represents the reputation of an educational institution in the eyes of the public. The assessment of the community towards the school's image depends on the role of its public relations management. Effective public relations management is necessary in order to achieve a positive school image. This research aims to examine the role of public relations management in building the school's image at Al Amin High School, located in Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data analysis was conducted using the Atlas.ti 9 software. The research findings indicate that the public relations management of Al Amin High School has played a significant role in building the school's image. The study also revealed both supportive and inhibiting factors, as well as the efforts made in establishing a positive image for the school.
