Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of character education in building religious moderation. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of how character education is applied in building religious moderation at Madrasah Muadalah Tsanawiyah Nurul Qarnain Jember. Apart from that, it is hoped that this research can provide useful information about the implementation of character education in building religious moderation in madrasas. The research location was chosen at Madrasah Muadalah Tsanawiyah Nurul Qarnain, because this institution is a formal educational institution that applies typical Islamic boarding school-based learning methods with the advantage of learning based on the yellow book (religious studies). This research method was carried out qualitatively with a descriptive approach, while data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The interview process carried out as supporting data for research at the Madrasah Muadalah Tsanawiyah Nurul Qarnain educational institution included several objects including: teachers, students and staff, as well as stakeholders involved in the formation of character education in building religious moderation. The research results show that character education is an important effort to teach students to make wise choices by applying the knowledge they have in everyday life. Students at Madrasah Muadalah Tsanawiyah Nurul Qarnain show a positive level of religious moderation. This is formed through the implementation of character education, including understanding religious knowledge, attitudes of tolerance, mutual respect, and awareness of religious diversity and religious perspectives. By implementing religious activities as a form of character education, Madrasah Muadalah Tsanawiyah Nurul Qarnain has succeeded in growing and increasing students' religiosity, in this case students show a positive level of religious moderation. Implementing character education through religious activities can help students develop strong and moderate religious attitudes.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of integrating the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Smart Classrooms on interactivity, personalization, and learning evaluation. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis in schools implementing this technology. The findings show that IoT and AI enhance student and teacher interaction, enable personalized learning tailored to individual needs, and provide more measurable and data-driven evaluations. Although challenges in technology adaptation and data security were identified, this study affirms that Smart Classrooms have the potential to become a more effective and responsive model of future education, aligned with technological advancements in education. These findings are supported by relevant educational theories, such as Vygotsky’s social learning theory and Bloom’s data-driven evaluation. They are further reinforced by related literature demonstrating that these technologies can significantly enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan Pancasila sebagai paradigma pendidikan karakter di era post-truth, terutama dalam mengatasi tantangan penyebaran hoaks yang marak di kalangan pelajar. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi di MTs Annuqoyah yang menerapkan pendidikan karakter berbasis Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila, seperti kemanusiaan yang adil dan beradab serta persatuan, berperan penting dalam membentuk kesadaran kritis siswa terhadap informasi palsu. Meskipun ada kendala dalam integrasi nilai Pancasila di seluruh mata pelajaran dan pengaruh dari lingkungan luar, penerapan pendidikan karakter ini tetap memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menghadapi disinformasi. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup peningkatan literasi digital dan penguatan integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendidikan karakter berbasis Pancasila sebagai strategi kunci untuk membentuk generasi yang kritis, etis, dan bertanggung jawab di era post-truth

Abstract

In order to meet the difficulties of the digital age, this study intends to examine how Islamic educational institutions apply Human Resource management based on Islamic principles.. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach on an educational institution that applies Islamic principles in human resource management, such as trust, justice, and excellence. The research results show that the integration of Islamic values in human resource management significantly improves the performance, loyalty, and satisfaction of educators. However, the challenges in digital literacy are still felt by most educators, even though institutions have provided regular technology training. The implementation of a collaborative culture through deliberation has proven effective in enhancing innovation and the involvement of educators in the decision-making process. The use of digital technology tailored to Islamic values, such as sharia-compliant human resource management applications, also strengthens aspects of transparency and justice in institutional management. In conclusion, Human Resource management based on Islamic values, supported by digital technology, is capable of improving performance quality and creating a harmonious work environment that is relevant in addressing the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

This article aims to review and understand the basic concepts of Social Studies (IPS), the purpose of social studies education, as well as the basic concepts of Science, Technology, and Society (ITM), and their interrelationships. This article shows that: first, the concept of ITM emphasizes more on the development of students' personality; second, in the context of Science, Technology, and Society, there are positive and negative impacts that affect the development of science and technology (IPTEK).

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred bond between husband and wife with a firm agreement. A harmonious and lasting marriage is a goal that is highly desired by Islam. However, it cannot be denied that in a family there must be differences of opinion between family members, which in turn can cause division. It turns out that divorce also often occurs when the wife is pregnant, which has become a phenomenon today. As happened to a married couple where the wife sued her husband for divorce while pregnant to the Malang Religious Court with No.789/Pdt.G/2008/PA.Mlg. This is very contrary to Islamic law. Therefore, this research has objectives. Namely, to find out the opinion of the judges of the Religious Court of Malang city related to the case of divorce of a pregnant wife. As well as knowing the basis for consideration by the Panel of Judges in deciding case No. 789/Pdt.G/2007: 789/Pdt.G/2008/PA.Mlg. The research used a type of qualitative research. The data of this research was collected through interviews from informants and decision documents of the Malang Religious Court. While the analysis method in this study uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. A wife who wants a divorce from her husband then she must pay a ransom to her husband as compensation for the husband's love for her and file a divorce suit at the local Religious Court. The amount of iwadl is in accordance with the husband's request and the wife's willingness to pay it. If the husband does not wish to divorce his wife, based on the examination conducted during the trial, the judge has the right to decide the divorce between the husband and wife. However, in the Religious Courts there are rarely cases of pure Khulu' as described in Islamic law. In the Religious Court the divorce suit filed by the wife is known as Gugat Cerai.

Abstract

Project Based Learning has become an increasingly popular approach to improving students' skills in a variety of subjects. This research explores the implementation of Project Based Learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects to improve students' collaboration and creativity skills. The research method used was a classroom action study involving two classes of junior high school students as research subjects. During the research period, students are involved in projects based on PAI topics that are relevant to their daily lives. Data was collected through observation, interviews and analysis of student portfolios and carried out. The research results showed a significant increase in students' collaboration skills, such as the ability to work together in teams, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Apart from that, student creativity is also stimulated through project-centered learning, with innovative ideas and solutions generated in the context of PAI material. These findings confirm that Project Based Learning can be an effective approach in improving students' collaboration and creativity skills in the PAI learning context. The practical and pedagogical implications of these findings are discussed to support the development of curricula that are more student-oriented and relevant to current needs.

Abstract

Kalianyar Village, known as the center of the tofu manufacturing industry with 22 active tofu factories, has great economic potential. However, the products produced are mostly still in the form of traditional tofu, which does not provide added value and new business opportunities for the community. The purpose of this Community Service Program (PKM) is designed to empower mothers in the village by providing training in processing tofu into various innovative products with high economic value. This training method involves direct demonstrations, joint practice, and interactive discussions, participants are introduced to various tofu processing techniques into products such as thau donuts, tofu sticks, Kentucky tofu and tofu meatballs. This training not only focuses on the technical aspects of processing, but also on marketing strategies to increase product competitiveness in local and regional markets. The results of this activity show an increase in participants' skills in processing tofu and the emergence of initiatives to start small businesses based on tofu processing. The positive impact of this program can be seen from the opening of new business opportunities that are expected to contribute significantly to improving the economy of families and communities in Kalianyar Village.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the phenomenon of sirri marriage in Grujugan Village and explore the role of multicultural Islamic education in building community legal awareness. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Thematic analysis was applied to identify the factors causing sirri marriages, their impact on individuals and communities, as well as the contribution of multicultural Islamic education in enhancing legal understanding. The research results show that economic, social, cultural factors, and a lack of legal understanding are the main drivers of the sirri marriage practice. The impacts include unclear legal status, potential family conflicts, and social stigma. Multicultural Islamic education plays a significant role in instilling values of tolerance and justice, enhancing understanding of marriage laws, and strengthening individual character and morality. Thus, multicultural Islamic education is expected to be an effective solution in reducing the practice of sirri marriages and increasing legal awareness among the community in Grujugan Village.

Abstract

Islamic education as a sub system of national education who has a purpose to form the character of student be a human being who believes, devoted to god almighty and have a noble character, as a provision for printing student who have a quality personality, that is to have a balance of morals and knowladge. The are so many poor education carry out and ignore its importance character building in students especially in elementary school age, therefore it is necessary to instill character through the activities of the dhuha prayer habituation, and istighosah for better personal printing. The purpose of this research is to describe implementation of the strategy of the principal by building teacher collaboration, as well as the result of character enhancement in improving the character of student islamic Al-Anwar Bunder Pancoran Bondowoso. The research method used is with a qualitative approach that result narrative data in the form of natural explanations. Methods of data collection using observation, interview, and documentation. While the method of analysis uses an interactive model analysis method. Meanwhile the presentation of the data by drawing a conclusion, and to get the validity of the data using data validity with triangulation techniques. Based on research results, then it can be found that strategy of the madrasa principal in improving the character of student islamic Al-Anwar Bunder Pancoran Bondowoso school namely through teacher cooperation strategies, as well as parets, this collaboration can be through social media, or through the advice of the teacher. As well as character that is implanted in the form of a religious character, honest, and disciplined, because these characters can print student sho have noble character, who has a quality personality, have an awereness of discipline and likes to practice the sunnah of the prophet that is to have a balance of morals and knowledge.
