Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural memegang peranan krusial dalam menghadapi tantangan global dalam ruang kelas. Artikel ini, berjudul "Pendidikan Multikultural di Kelas Global: Strategi Pengajaran Responsif Budaya," membahas strategi pengajaran yang responsif terhadap keragaman budaya dalam konteks global. Pendidikan multikultural bukan sekadar mengakui keberagaman, tetapi juga mengajarkan keterampilan dan pemahaman yang dibutuhkan untuk berinteraksi dengan dunia yang semakin terhubung. Artikel ini mengidentifikasi beberapa strategi pengajaran yang efektif untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang responsif budaya. Pertama, pendekatan pengajaran harus mengakui dan menghargai latar belakang budaya siswa. Guru perlu memahami keberagaman bahasa, nilai, dan norma-norma budaya yang membentuk identitas siswa. Kedua, kurikulum harus dirancang untuk mencerminkan keragaman global. Materi pembelajaran harus mencakup berbagai perspektif budaya untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang dunia kepada siswa. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi dapat menjadi alat yang kuat untuk mendukung pendidikan multikultural di kelas global. Platform pembelajaran daring dapat menghadirkan sumber daya yang mencakup budaya dari seluruh dunia, membantu siswa memahami realitas global lebih baik. Pemanfaatan teknologi juga memungkinkan koneksi lintas batas antara kelas-kelas di seluruh dunia, menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih menyeluruh dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman praktis dan konseptual tentang pendidikan multikultural di era globalisasi. Dengan mengintegrasikan strategi pengajaran responsif budaya, artikel ini mengajak para pendidik untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan kelas yang semakin heterogen dan menyiapkan siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam masyarakat global dengan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang keragaman budaya.

Abstract

This writing aims to describe the development of the Social Studies curriculum in Indonesia. Social studies education in Indonesia did not just appear and develop, but through a long journey full of dynamics. This article reviews social studies education from a historical perspective and its development using historical research methods, which include the steps of heuristics, source criticism (external and internal), interpretation, and historiography. The development of the social studies curriculum in Indonesia has adopted the concepts of social studies education in several major countries, such as the United States and the United Kingdom, which became a reference because of the similarity of the conditions of multicultural society and the background of the country's unstable situation at that time. Nevertheless, the development of social studies education in Indonesia is adapted to the conditions of society and government in the country, which has an impact on the preparation of curriculum and implementation of learning in schools. Along with technological advances, social studies education also continues to grow by utilizing a variety of learning resources and media. In addition, the development of social studies learning materials also involves the active participation of the wider community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the meaning and implementation of the value of mutual trust in Imam Muslim Hadith No. 1551 as the basis for forming religious character in Islamic educational institutions. This hadith contains moral principles about Islamic brotherhood, social responsibility, and empathy that are relevant to efforts to build trust between individuals in the world of education. The novelty of this research lies in its approach, which integrates the study of hadith texts with the practical realities of education, resulting in a model for internalizing religious values that is applicable and contextual in the modern era. This research uses a qualitative approach with field research combined with content analysis of hadith texts. Data collection techniques were carried out thru observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and pesantren caregivers, and documentation of learning activities in Islamic educational institutions. The research results indicate that the internalization of mutual trust values is implemented thru integration into the learning curriculum, teacher role modeling, and the formation of an institutional culture based on honesty, responsibility, and social solidarity. This process has a positive impact on improving students' spirituality, morality, and social care. Thus, the value of mutual trust in Imam Muslim Hadith No. 1551 can be used as a conceptual foundation and practical model for strengthening religious character education in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This research examines the cultural transformation of pesantren in internalizing multiculturalism values in the digital disruption era. The research focus is directed toward changes in cultural, pedagogical patterns, and the role of pesantren leadership in responding to the dynamics of diversity and digital technological developments. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method thru in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The research findings indicate that pesantren are undergoing a cultural shift from a hierarchical traditional pattern toward a more dialogical, inclusive, and adaptive culture thru the integration of moderate Islamic values, the utilization of digital media, and the strengthening of digital literacy and ethics. This transformation strengthens the role of pesantren as agents of religious moderation, but still faces obstacles such as the digital competency gap and limited contextual learning modules. The research conclusion confirms that the success of internalizing multiculturalism values in pesantren is highly determined by the visionary leadership of the kiai, the readiness of human resources, and institutional policy support. Therefore, this research recommends strengthening digital literacy, developing a multiculturalism-based pesantren curriculum, and implementing sustainable cultural transformation strategies to ensure that pesantren remain relevant and contribute to building an inclusive society in the digital age.

Abstract

The community engagement programme on halal certification assistance for cassava-based crackers (lempeng) was carried out in Ledokombo Village, Sumberjambe District, Jember Regency, East Java, Indonesia, with the aim of enhancing halal literacy, improving product quality, and fostering a community-based halal ecosystem. This initiative was motivated by the limited understanding among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of halal certification procedures and the necessity of legal compliance to expand market access. A participatory approach was employed through several stages: awareness-raising sessions, raw material identification, administrative assistance, and technical guidance on packaging and branding.The findings indicate significant improvements in three key areas. First, MSMEs’ halal literacy increased through a deeper understanding of certification procedures and the principles of halal and thayyib production. Second, product quality and competitiveness improved via the adoption of hygienic production standards, the use of certified halal ingredients, and the development of more attractive and informative packaging. Third, a supportive network involving MSMEs, local government, and relevant institutions emerged, reinforcing programme sustainability and strengthening the halal ecosystem at the local level. Moreover, the programme offered experiential learning opportunities for students as change agents, enabling them to develop practical skills in community empowerment. Overall, the halal certification assistance programme in Ledokombo Village, Jember Regency not only facilitated legal compliance but also generated substantial socio-economic impacts, contributing to the national agenda of positioning Indonesia as a global hub for the halal industry.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of halal certification assistance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Randuagung Village, Sumber Jambe District, Jember Regency. The background of this research is the importance of halal certification as a guarantee of product compliance with Islamic law and as an effort to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs in both local and global markets. A qualitative method with a field study approach was applied through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that most MSME actors initially lacked knowledge about the benefits, procedures, and requirements of halal certification. Through socialization and mentoring activities, five out of nine MSMEs expressed their willingness to apply for halal certification and successfully completed the administrative requirements, including the issuance of a Business Identification Number (NIB). Beyond administrative aspects, the mentoring program also increased the awareness of MSMEs regarding the importance of maintaining standards of hygiene, halal integrity, and food safety. This program not only adds value to MSME products but also supports government initiatives in developing the halal industry and contributes to empowering rural communities’ economy. For sustainability, further technical guidance is needed to ensure that all MSMEs are able to complete the halal certification process independently.

Abstract

This study addresses the low entrepreneurial readiness among vocational education students, a condition that persists despite the increasing national demand for young entrepreneurs. This gap is evident in the lack of practical skills such as identifying business opportunities, calculating production costs, and effectively marketing products. The aim of this study was to strengthen students' entrepreneurial capacity through an integrated mentoring model tailored to their learning context at SMK Al-Furqon Bondowoso, Indonesia. The method used was a community-based training approach that included seminars, workshops, coaching, and hands-on practice during a three-day intervention (January 4-6, 2026). The findings indicate an increased understanding of entrepreneurial concepts, competency in calculating production costs, pricing, and profit margins, and improvements in designing basic marketing strategies using offline and online media. Participants also demonstrated a shift in attitudes toward entrepreneurship as a viable career path that can be planned as early as possible. The study concludes that context-responsive mentoring can bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in vocational settings and has the potential to be replicated to support entrepreneurship development in similar institutions at the secondary education level. These findings also emphasize the importance of an entrepreneurial empowerment model for the younger generation.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the review of Islamic law on the obligations of a father who abandoned the maintenance of the child in the decision of the Supreme Court number 608/K/AG/2003 and describing a living madliyah children after divorce based on the protection of children's rights in Law Number 23 Year 2002 on the Protection of Children. This research is included in the type of normative legal research, using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The processing of legal materials in normative legal research is by means of literature studies which are described and then linked between one legal material and other legal materials, especially the relationship between the elements covered in the research problem. So it is presented in a systematic writing form to answer the problems that have been formulated in this research. The result showed that the duty of a father to meet child support does not become payable if the elapsed time, but it could be due to maintenance if there is a decision of the judge. This imposition on the grounds that the father in condition to be able to work deliberately remiss. Supreme Court Decision No. 608/K/AG/2003 does not conflict with Islamic law. Every parent has an obligation to be responsible for nurturing, nurture, educate, and protect children. Deliberateness of a father neglects the obligation to provide maintenance, so that children can not get their rights and suffer a loss, then it can be described as acts of negligence as regulated in Law Number 23 of 2002 on the Protection of Children

Abstract

Studi ini menganalisis rendahnya kesiapan berwirausaha di kalangan siswa pendidikan vokasi, yang tetap terjadi meskipun kebutuhan nasional terhadap wirausaha muda meningkat. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dampak model pendampingan kewirausahaan terpadu berbasis komunitas, yang meliputi seminar, workshop, coaching, dan praktik langsung, terhadap pengembangan kompetensi produktif dan kemandirian wirausaha. Hasil intervensi menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menghitung biaya produksi, menetapkan harga, merancang strategi pemasaran offline dan online, serta pemahaman konsep kewirausahaan secara praktis. Selain itu, terjadi pergeseran sikap positif terhadap kewirausahaan sebagai jalur karier yang layak dan dapat direncanakan sejak dini. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa model mentoring yang responsif terhadap konteks pembelajaran vokasi dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik, serta berpotensi direplikasi untuk memperkuat kewirausahaan di institusi pendidikan menengah serupa.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic-based mediation in strengthening family resilience within Muslim communities, particularly in conflicts between daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law. Such conflicts represent a significant social issue that not only affects household harmony but also influences broader community stability. This research aims to analyze mediation practices and formulate a community-oriented mediation model grounded in Islamic family law principles. Using a qualitative multi-site case study approach, the research involved eight Muslim families experiencing in-law conflicts, as well as mediators including religious leaders and institutional actors. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that conflicts are primarily triggered by parental interference, differences in values and parenting practices, and economic tensions. Effective mediation is characterized by the integration of Islamic values such as musyawarah (deliberation), ishlah (reconciliation), and justice; the balancing of power relations; and the establishment of clear agreements regarding roles and communication. These mediation practices contribute not only to conflict resolution but also to strengthening family resilience in psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions. This study proposes an Islamic relational mediation model that positions mediation as a community-based strategy for reinforcing social cohesion and family resilience. The findings highlight the importance of culturally grounded mediation in supporting sustainable community development within Muslim societies.
