Abstract

This paper reports the effect of Balinese folktale literacy learning on elementary students’ reading ability and social attitudes. The type of research is pseudo-experimental research with a non-equivalent post-test-only control group design. The population in this study was 129 students. The sample was selected by using random sampling techniques.  23 students were treated as an experimental group and 27 students were treated as a control group. The data were obtained by administering multiple-choice tests and distributing questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics, i.e., Manova-test.  The data of this study were also described through the classification level of each data group by using five conversion guidelines. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the reading ability and the social attitudes of the students taught by using folktale literacy learning and those who were taught by using conventional learning.  It can be seen from the Sig.< value of 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that Balinese folktale literacy learning affected reading ability and social attitudes of  elementary students.

Abstract

Prestasi sains siswa Indonesia berada di bawah rata-rata internasional. Hal ini akibat dari pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik siswa. Maka perlu diadakan pembaharuan untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang bersifat kontekstual. Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) merupakan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pengelolaan kelas dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) dan asesmen autentik terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan the posttest only control group design. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini semua kelas V SD sebanyak 81 siswa.  Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes objektif. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji ANAVA dua jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa bahwa model pembelajaran STM dan asesmen autentik mempunyai pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Model pembelajaran STM yang dientegrasikan dengan asesmen proyek memberikan hasil yang paling baik. Kombinasi ini sangat cocok diaplikasikan untuk mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar karena model tersebut mengakomodasi karakteristik pendidikan IPA. Model pembelajaran STM dapat mengeksplorasi rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap isu-isu sains dan teknologi melalui tahap penggalian isu-isu sains dan teknologi. Sedangkan asesmen proyek membuat anak bisa mengasimilasi dan mengakomodasi rangsangan dari lingkungannya, berinteraksi dengan objek, mengamati, meneliti, dan berpikir sehingga meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif nya.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar akibat adanya pembelajaran yang belum optimal dan belum membiasakan siswa belajar untuk mengembangkan kemampuan literasi mengakibatkan kemampuan literasi siswa masih rendah. jika kondisi ini dibiarkan akan berdampak terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Sehingga solusi yang ditawarkan adalah mengembangkan instrumen multiliterasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen multiliterasi di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan sebagai acuan adalah ADDIE. Model ADDIE merupakan tahapan model yang terdiri dari lima langkah yaitu analisis (analyze), desain (design), pengembangan (development), dan evaluasi (evaluate). Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV di Gugus 5 Kecamatan Buleleng, yang terdiri dari 6 sekolah dengan jumlah siswa keseluruhan sebanyak 125 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuesioner. Pengujian instrumen dilakukan melalui uji pakar dengan menggunakan perhitungan CVR dan CVI. Instrumen diuji oleh 5 orang pakar. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh hasil CVI (Content validity index) sebesar 0,98, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa instrumen di atas memiliki validitas sangat baik.  Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen multiliterasi yang dikembangkan bersifat valid dan dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan multiliterasi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Acts of violence in a changing society, as occurred in Balinuraga Village, South Lampung Regency, have had a significant impact on national stability. Based on this, the aim of this research is to analyze communication of social conflict between ethnic Lampung and ethnic Balinese in Balinuraga village, Way Panji District, South Lampung Regency.This type of research is qualitative research. Based on the problem investigated, this research is classified as case research, to provide a detailed description of the sources of conflict, impacts and social conflict communication management that are unique to the case. Primary data was obtained from 15 key informants from several ethnicities across generations and religions. The methods used to collect data were participant observation, in-depth interviews, document study, and triangulation. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire sheet. The technique used to analyze data is qualitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively interpretatively by applying conflict theory, conflict management, functional structural theory and communication theory. From the communication perspective, the current research found out that the source of social conflict between Balinese ethnic (Balinuraga) and Lampung ethnic (Agom Village) in 2012 in Way Panji District, was communication could be the source of conflict if communication is influenced by elements of group sentiment. This poor communication has an impact on social conflict in Balinuraga village. The government has handled the consequences of conflict through reconciliation; rehabilitation; and post-conflict reconstruction. Likewise, the people of Balinuraga have also handled conflict through ideological integration and social integration

Abstract

Motivasi dan hasil belajar Agama Hindu sebagian siswa kurang dan berada di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang ditentukan oleh sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara juga diperoleh keterangan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa rendah dikarenakan metode pengajaran yang monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dalam mata pelajaran agama Hindu kelas V. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Data yang diperoleh dari metode kuisioner dan tes selanjutnya dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dalam mata pelajaran Agama Hindu kelas V menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 14,14 dari rata-rata 70,86 pada siklus I menjadi 85 pada siklus II. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 12,76 dari rata-rata 72,48 pada siklus I menjadi 85,24 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dalam mata pelajaran agama hindu kelas V dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Peningkatan terjadi karena siswa merasa termotivasi untuk belajar dengan adanya diskusi kelompok belajar, games tournament dan penghargaan kelompok.

Abstract

Penerapan model masih belum menunjukkan pembelajaran yang mengakomodasi dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pelatihan implementasi phenomenon based learning bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, presentasi, dan penugasan. Secara umum kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi Pelatihan Umum, Pelatihan Intensif I, dan Pelatihan Intensif II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang relevan, berorientasi pada fenomena, dan berpusat pada siswa merupakan hasil positif dari pelatihan PhBL. Keterampilan ini membantu menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan efektif bagi siswa, yang pada akhirmya akan berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Respon kepuasan peserta yang positif ini mencerminkan bahwa pelatihan PhBL telah memenuhi harapan mereka dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang berharga. Pendekatan fleksibel dan berkelanjutan dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan dapat membantu guru mengintegrasikan Phenomenon Based Learning ke dalam kurikulum mereka tanpa menambah beban kerja secara signifikan Hal ini juga menunjukkan potensi untuk meningkatkan praktik pengajaran dengan mengadopsi PhBL sebagai bagian dari pendekatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Pancasila student profile is a description of the competencies that Indonesian students must have. This study aims to analyze the impact of project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach on achieving the Pancasila student profile in elementary school students. This research is experimental research using a quantitative approach. The research design used in this study was a nonequivalent post-test only control group design. The populations in this study were elementary school students spread across various regions, namely rural, suburban and urban areas. Determining the number of samples in this study was carried out using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance limit of 3%. Furthermore, sampling in this research was carried out using cluster random sampling techniques. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 for Windows program, a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was obtained of 0.000. Based on these results, it can be seen that the Sig. < 0.05. So, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, there is a significant difference in the achievement of the Pancasila student profile in the group that was given treatment in the form of a project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach and those who were not treated in the form of a project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach. Thus, the use of project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach is effective in increasing students' achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile indicators.

Abstract

Educators face significant challenges in acting as facilitators, assisting, exploring deeper understanding, and supporting student initiatives in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the challenges of the PBL model in elementary school social studies learning courses. This type of research is qualitative research using qualitative descriptive research methods. The population in this study were students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD). Data analysis was carried out interactively in the study. Activities in qualitative data analysis were carried out interactively and continued until completion. The results of this study provide a reasonably comprehensive picture that both lecturers and students experience several difficulties in implementing the problem-based learning (PBL) model, especially in the context of social studies learning. From the lecturer's side, they are faced with challenges in several important aspects that are the key to the success of the PBL model. One of the main challenges is designing problems relevant to students' daily lives so that learning becomes more contextual and meaningful. On the other hand, students also experience difficulties implementing the PBL model. This indicates a need for improved learning strategies, infrastructure support, and the development of lecturer and student competencies so that the implementation of PBL can run more effectively and provide optimal results.
