Abstract

The development of environmental values and pro-environmental behavior must begin from an early age, particularly within primary education. Schools, therefore, have a strategic role in shaping sustainable habits through educational interventions. This study aims to assess the need for educational programs that integrate green activities and to evaluate teachers’ and principals’ understanding of green consumer behavior. Using an Ex Post Facto research design and purposive sampling, data were collected from 32 fifth-grade teachers and 32 public primary school principals in Bandung, Indonesia. A validated Guttman-scale questionnaire was used, and data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed that all respondents recognized the importance of implementing green activities and instilling green consumer behavior. The gap between conceptual understanding and classroom practice—particularly among teachers—indicates a need for more targeted capacity-building. This study highlights the importance of developing integrated, project-based, and contextually relevant learning models to promote environmental literacy and responsible consumption, contributing to the broader goals of environmental education and character development.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKM) that integrate science process skills on macrozoobentos materials that are feasible and practical and improve students' science process skills. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with 3D model design (Define, Design, and Development). This research instrument consists of an expert validation questionnaire, a readability test questionnaire, a pre-test and post-test test to see the test to improve learning outcomes, and a student response questionnaire to assess practicality. The results of the study showed that expert validation consisting of material validation of 83% of the category was very feasible, media validation of 78% of the feasible category, validation of practitioners of teaching lecturers of 92% of the category was very feasible, and readability test of 88.9% of the category was very feasible. An increase in students' science process skills of 0.79 with a high n-gain criterion. The indicator planned experiments and used tools and materials had a high n-gain score. The student response results showed that the percentage of 90.5% was categorized as very good. The Student Worksheets developed are suitable for learning media and can improve students' science process skills in macrozoobentos materials in ecology practicum.

Abstract

The learning model is one of the causes of the lack of student motivation in learning problems so that it affects student learning outcomes. The use of the right learning model is one of the determinants of success in learning activities carried out by teachers. This study aims to analyze the effect of TGT learning model assisted by educandy on student learning outcomes on ecology material. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample amounted to 28 students selected through cluster random sampling technique. Cognitive aspect learning outcomes were obtained through pretest and posttest. Learning ecology material through the TGT model assisted by educandy makes students participate actively so that the learning stages are carried out very well. The cognitive learning outcomes of students using the TGT model assisted by educandy obtained a score of 82 with an n-gain value of 0.62 with moderate criteria. While in the control class, students' cognitive learning outcomes obtained a score of 70 and an n-gain value of 0.45 with a moderate category. The results of the t-test analysis obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.005 means the hypothesis is accepted. There is an effect of TGT learning model assisted by educandy application on student learning outcomes on ecology material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada permasalahan dalam pembelajaran, yaitu rendahnya keaktifan siswa dan rendahnya motivasi belajar selama proses pembelajaran yang menyebabkan suasana kelas terlihat pasif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran RADEC berbantu Padlet pada materi sel hewan dan sel tumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata keseluruhan respon siswa mencapai 73,92%, yang tergolong dalam kategori baik. Respon siswa diukur berdasarkan tiga indikator yakni respon siswa terhadap materi sel hewan dan sel tumbuhan, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan Padlet, dan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran RADEC. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran RADEC berbantu Padlet pada materi sel hewan dan sel tumbuhan adalah baik.

Abstract

Literasi lingkungan menjadi sebuah konsep penting dalam pendidikan formal ketika meninjau permasalahan lingkungan hidup saat ini yang beragam. Tujuan dari literasi lingkungan adalah untuk mengedukasi mengenai konsep pelestarian dan peningkatan kondisi lingkungan alam guna menciptakan keberlanjutan dalam kehidupan dan lingkungan alam. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa melalui pembelajaran dengan lembar kegiatan siswa berbasis predict observe explain. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Pre-Experimental Design one-group pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa meningkat melalui pembelajaran ini. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil nilai N-Gain dari pretest dan posttest sebesar 0.62 dengan kategori sedang atau dapat dikatakan meningkat sebesar 62%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan lembar kegiatan siswa berbasis predict observe explain mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai keanekaragaman hayati, mengetahui sikap peduli lingkungan siswa, dan menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan siswa mengenai keanekaragaman hayati dengan sikap peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini melibatkan populasi siswa kelas X di SMAN 25 Bandung dengan sampel sebanyak 71 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial, berupa uji Korelasi Pearson dan uji Regresi Linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif, pengetahuan siswa mengenai keanekaragaman hayati tergolong tinggi, sedangkan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa berada pada kategori baik. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif antara pengetahuan keanekaragaman hayati dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. Hubungan tersebut dikategorikan "cukup kuat” berdasarkan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0,423. Pengetahuan keanekaragaman hayati memberikan kontribusi sebesar 17,9% terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan, sedangkan 82,1% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diuji dalam penelitian ini.
