Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara mengembangkan minat dan bakat siswa melalui ekstrakurikuler pramuka SDN Cipondoh 8 Kota Tangerang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif.Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analisis, yaitu penelitian yang menggambarkan data informasi yang berdasarkan pada fakta yang diperoleh di lapangan.Pengumpulan data melalui metode wawancara kepada pembina Pramuka, siswa dan orang tua.Observasi dengan mengamati pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka,serta dokumentasi kegiatan Pramuka.Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Aspek Perhatian,Berdasarkan hasil pertemuan kesimpulan bahwa Pertama guru pembina Pramuka kelas 5 SD seperti apa cara memberikan perhatian yaitu dengan membuat pra pembelajaran semenarik mungkin.Contoh kegiatan pra pembelajaran yang menarik perhatian siswa antara lain dengan mengajak siswa melakukan kegiatan ice breaking seperti bermain games, menyanyi, melakukan gerak badan, dan lain sebagainya Kedua siswa kelas 5 SD menyimpulkan bahwa Melatih kemandirian, gotong royong, meningkatkan rasa peduli, mencintai alam, dan melatih kedisiplinan.bahwaKetigaMenurut para ibu yang saya amati perhatian kepada putra/putri yang ada di sekolah dalam kegiatan Pramuka sudah mengelengkapi oleh mereka dan tinggal putra/ putri yang menjalankannya dengan baik.

Abstract

The research aim is to develop teaching materials for English writing skills based on Creative, Active, Systematic, and Effective (CASE) for Elementary School Students in Tangerang City. Creative, Active, Systematic, and Effective (CASE) based teaching materials are learning resources that can direct students to learn creatively, actively, systematically, and effectively so they can gain maximum knowledge and understanding of the material. The research method used in this study uses Research and Development (R&D) using the Dick & Carey approach. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students from SDN Cikokol 4 Tangerang. The instrument in this study was a product assessment questionnaire given to students, teachers, and media expert, material expert as well as English language experts. The result indicated that the product of material development gained average of 82,4% or in category of very sufficient, and the pretest posttest result was t-count 2,319 > t-table 2,048. In other words, it can be concluded that there was a significant different score between pretest and posttest in terms of writing skills. Thus, it can be stated that the product of materials development can be used in the teaching learning English and can develop students writing skills effectively.

Abstract

In 21st-century learning, technology integration plays a crucial role in supporting the development of learning tools such as student worksheets (LKPD), teaching materials, and interactive media to create innovative learning processes that align with the demands of the digital era. However, its implementation in practice remains suboptimal, as learning activities are often limited to conventional assignments without meaningful use of technology. This study aims to explore and develop interactive electronic worksheets supported by Wizer.me as a learning medium for English instruction among elementary school students. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation process involved media and material experts, as well as student responses through a series of trial phases. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through both quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The results indicate that the developed product achieved a very high level of feasibility based on expert assessments and positive student feedback. Overall, the interactive electronic worksheet assisted by Wizer.me proved effective in enhancing student engagement, motivation, and interest in learning English. The findings of this study highlight the importance of utilizing educational technology to strengthen interactive learning experiences and improve the quality of language learning in elementary education.

Abstract

Literacy culture is an important aspect of improving the quality of learning and shaping students' character in elementary schools. However, low reading interest and various challenges in implementing the School Literacy Movement (Gerakan Literasi Sekolah [GLS]) remain issues faced by many educational institutions. This study aims to describe the strategies for developing a literacy culture at MIN 6 Tangerang Regency, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of literacy programs, and analyze their impact on students. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research participants consisted of the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, classroom teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The findings reveal that the literacy culture development strategy at MIN 6 Tangerang Regency is implemented through the stages of habituation, development, and learning. The habituation stage includes 15-minute reading activities before lessons, the Wednesday Reading Movement (GERCA), and the utilization of reading corners. The development stage is carried out through various literacy activities, such as storytelling, poetry recitation, speech contests, pildacil (Islamic preaching for children), and writing activities, while the learning stage integrates literacy into the teaching and learning process. Supporting factors include the principal’s commitment, teacher involvement, parental support, and the availability of literacy facilities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of limited reading materials, excessive use of digital media, and differences in students’ reading abilities. The literacy program positively contributes to the improvement of students’ reading interest, learning motivation, discipline, responsibility, and communication skills.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping how English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers support vocabulary learning beyond formal classroom instruction. Existing studies have mostly examined learners' autonomous use of AI tools,while the teacher's role in mediating AI through everyday instructional planning remains under-theorized. This conceptual paper proposes a teacher-centered framework that explains how informal AI-mediated planning can enhance EFL vocabulary instruction. Synthesizing vocabulary acquisition theory, teacher cognition, learner engagement, and digital pedagogy, the framework links teacher decision-making to informal AI-supported planning, pedagogical mediation, learner engagement, and vocabulary development. The framework positions AI as a planning resource whose instructional value depends on teachers' professional judgment rather than as an independent instructional agent. The model provides a foundation for future empirical research and practical guidance forpedagogically grounded AI integration in vocabulary instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Bagaimana Impelementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Disiplin Siswa Kelas IV di SDN Jurumudi 3 Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek 6 orang siswa pada kelas IV A, kepala sekolah dan guru kelas IV A. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV A dan siswa kelas IV A, dokumentasi dan analisis data yang dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Terdapat 4 persiapan dalam menerapkan implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam membentuk karakter disiplin 1) pemahaman pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka, 2) perencanaan pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka, 3) pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka, 4) evaluasi pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa di SDN Jurumudi 3 Kota Tangerang berhasil menanamkan karakter disiplin melalui pembiasaan sikap disiplin siswa, seperti datang tepat waktu, membawa perlengkapan belajar, menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu, dan mematuhi aturan sekolah dan kelas. Pembiasaan ini dilakukan secara konsisten setiap hari agar siswa terbiasa bertanggung jawab terhadap kewajiban mereka.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Kurikulum Merdeka, Karakter Disiplin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan pengembangan karakter siswa kelas empat melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SDN Poris Pelawad 5, Kota Tangerang. Data penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi partisipan, dan catatan tertulis. Dengan model interaktif mereka, Miles dan Huberman mampu mereduksi data, menunjukkan fakta, dan menarik kesimpulan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model ini. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan peninjauan operasi kepanduan merupakan tiga fase krusial. Kepala sekolah, pengawas, dan pelatih bekerja sama secara metodis selama tahap perencanaan untuk mengembangkan program kegiatan. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan secara rutin setiap hari Sabtu dan dalam kegiatan tahunan berupa perkemahan, dengan materi yang disesuaikan dengan usia siswa dan menggunakan pendekatan aktif seperti permainan edukatif dan kerja tim. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkelanjutan melalui observasi dan instrumen seperti SKU serta asesmen akhir semester, untuk menilai perkembangan karakter siswa dalam aspek kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kepemimpinan, kerja sama, dan sikap sosial lainnya. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pramuka terbukti berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter positif siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study was motivated by learning boredom and difficulties in English vocabulary retention experienced by third-grade elementary school students due to reliance on conventional rote-memorization methods. The purpose of this Research and Development (R&D) study was to design, test the feasibility, and analyze the effectiveness of an instructional medium in the form of a Green Education-Based English Digital Storybook titled Learning from the Green School. The research method utilized the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects involved all 32 third-grade students at SDN Gondrong 4, Tangerang City, with the cognitive effectiveness trial focusing on 23 core subjects who had baseline learning scores below 90. Data collection instruments included expert validation questionnaires, user response questionnaires, and test instruments (pretest and posttest). The results indicated that the developed product is highly feasible for implementation based on the evaluations from the material expert (96%), language expert (94%), media expert (92%), and educational practitioner (96%). This feasibility assessment was further supported by user responses through teacher and student feedback questionnaires, which yielded a mean scoring percentage ranging from 93% to 96%, falling into the highly excellent and effective criteria. Based on the product trials, a significant increase in the students' cognitive mean scores was observed across all three trial phases: the individual trial (one-to-one) increased from 55 to 88, the small-scale trial increased from 58 to 90, and the large-scale trial increased from 60 to 92. The hypothesis testing through the Paired Samples T-Test yielded a significance value of (sig. > 0,05),meaning that H0 is rejected and Hα is accepted. Consequently, the Green Education-Based English Digital Storybook is proven to be feasible, practical, and significantly effective in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students.
