Abstract

Terrain analysis on land can be done through field activities or remote sensing. The development of aerial photography technology through drones can be used to identify land conditions, especially on narrow land, and requires large-scale maps. Terrain characterization can use a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) generated through aerial photography with drone vehicles. This study aimed to determine the research location's topographic characteristics, scale, and class of map geometry accuracy. The research location is in the Eastern Region of Padjadjaran Jatinangor University, Hegarmanah Village, Jatinangor District, part of the Cikeruh Sub Das. The method used is a descriptive survey method and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the topographic characteristics of the study location had an elevation of 715 – 747 m above sea level and a flat slope class (0 – 3%) – steep (>60%), which was dominated by a steep slope class (26 – 40%) on 55 land units. The aerial photography used meets the standard of map accuracy class at a scale of 1:2,500 class 3

Abstract

The research is carried out to see the impact of slope steepness differences with different slope positions on the composition of soil fractions in Cikeruh catchment. The fieldwork in this research is carried out based on physiographic appearance and is also known as the free physiographic survey method. Soil samples were taken at slopes 8-15%, 15-25%, and 25-40% with four replications. Thus, there were a total of 36 sample points. The result conclude that slope steepness gave a significant impact on soil fraction composition.

Abstract

The Cikapundung Sub-watershed is part of the Upper Citarum Watershed, with its catchment area covering West Bandung Regency, Bandung City, and Bandung Regency. The increasing land use activities in the Cikapundung Sub-watershed have driven significant development activities in the upper areas of the subwatershed. One of the factors influencing this development is the road network, which affects the accessibility of an area, known as the driver variable. The creation of this driver variable requires GIS analysis using the Euclidean distance module, which calculates the distance from the roads. This calculation yields radial distances, ranging from the farthest to the nearest distances. It is known that local roads are the longest in the Cikapundung Sub-watershed, reaching 644.31 km. Based on the Euclidean distance calculation, the farthest distance from the road is 9504.22 meters, and the nearest is 0 meters. The map resulting from this calculation can be used to analyze the extent to which the distance from the road influences land use changes as a driver variable in the Cikapundung Sub-watershed.

Abstract

Pisang merupakan sumber pangan yang tersedia sepanjang tahun karena mudah tumbuh dan memiliki berbagai manfaat, menjadikannya komoditas hortikultura yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan guna memenuhi kebutuhan pasar domestik maupun internasional. Salah satu langkah penting dalam program pemuliaan tanaman untuk menghasilkan kultivar unggul adalah melakukan karakterisasi tanaman tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai tingkat keragaman genetik dan kekerabatan pisang sub-grup plantain di tiga kabupaten di Jawa Barat, berdasarkan karakteristik morfologi dan agronomi. Lokasi penelitian meliputi Kabupaten Bandung, Sumedang, dan Sukabumi, dan berlangsung dari bulan Juli hingga September 2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dan eksplorasi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keragaman genetik pisang sub-grup plantain di tiga kabupaten tersebut relatif rendah, begitu juga dengan keragaman hayati agroekosistemnya. Secara keseluruhan, variasi yang diamati pada pisang sub-grup plantain di ketiga wilayah ini kurang bervariasi, dengan tingkat keragaman total sebesar 0.83, yang mengindikasikan variasi genetik yang terbatas di antara populasi pisang yang diteliti.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effects of dosage and frequency of applying single fertilizers (N,P, K) and compound NPK fertilizers on total nitrogen (N-total) using lowland rice (Oryza sativa L.) grownin Inceptisols. The research was carried out in rice fields located in Ciparay, Jelekong Subdistrict, BaleendahDistrict, Bandung Regency. A Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was employed, consisting of seventreatments with three replications: (1) Control, (2) Single NPK fertilizer (grade 123,75-36-50), Frequency3, (3) Compound NPK Pelangi fertilizer (grade 80-40-40), Frequency 3, (4) Single NPK fertilizer (grade 8040-40),Frequency 3, (5) Single NPK fertilizer (grade 123,75-36-50), Frequency 2, (6) Compound NPKPelangi fertilizer (grade 80-40-40), Frequency 2, and (7) Single NPK fertilizer (grade 80-40-40), Frequency2. The results indicated that, in general, fertilization applied twice yielded the highest N-total values.Meanwhile, fertilization applied three times resulted in higher available phosphorus (P-available) levels.However, differences in fertilization treatments did not significantly affect exchangeable potassium (K) inInceptisols.

Abstract

Arjasari merupakan daerah yang memiliki kondisi geografis yang mendukung masyarakatnya untuk berprofesi sebagai petani ubi dan jagung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan tingginya produktivitas ubi dan jagung yang mampu menambahkan peluang pada pasar ekspor yang menjanjikan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan pada program ini memakai metode wawancara secara langsung untuk merekap data dari hasil wawancara. Program ini mencakup kegiatan koordinasi dengan petani, persiapan pertanyaan, dan wawancara secara langsung. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa lahan jagung di desa Arjasari memiliki produktivitas lahan yang realtif rendah Petani jagung rata-rata memiliki kesulitan akses modal dan pasar¸. Sehingga petani masih tergantung kepada para tengkulak.
