Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between Work Climate, Self-Efficacy, and Job insecurity on employee performance. This research employs a purposive sampling technique, with a total of 176 respondents (87 men and 89 women). The population in this study consists of employees at PT Avo Innovation and Technology. Primary data for this study were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, which has been tested for validity and reliability. In this study, SmartPLS 4.0 software was used for descriptive statistical, outer model and inner model analysis. The results of this study indicate that work climate has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Self-Efficacy also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Similarly, Job insecurity has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work climate, self-efficacy, and job insecurity simultaneously have a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine accident-prone areas on the Banda Aceh – Medan Causeway, identify factors of traffic accident-prone areas that often occur on the Banda Aceh – Medan Causeway and also calculate the cost of material losses for the last four years, namely in 2018-2021. The methods used in this study are descriptive research types and quantitative approaches. The data analysis technique used is the UCL and AEK methods. The results obtained in this study are based on the Accident Equivalent Rate (AEK) method and the Upper Control Limit (UCL) method in 2018-2021, areas that are prone to accidents are located at STA 009 + STA 474 - STA 012 + STA 477, while at other STA locations below the UCL line or smaller than the UCL value, they are not at risk of being accident-prone. Based on the analysis of the factors causing areas prone to traffic accidents that often occur on the Banda Aceh – Medan STA 009 + 474 - STA 012 + 477 Causeway due to road condition factors, driver negligence factors and incomplete road facilities factors. And based on the calculation of material losses due to accidents on the Banda Aceh – Medan STA 0 + 465 – STA 15 + 480 Causeway, there are material losses of Rp. 19,755,323,448.31 during 2018-2021.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of Flexible Working Arrangements (FWA) and Perceived Supervisor Support (PSS) on Work Engagement (WE) and employee performance at Perfetti Van Melle Bogor. Additionally, the research evaluates the mediating role of WE in the relationship between FWA and PSS with employee performance. A quantitative method was employed, with the population consisting of all 200 employees at Perfetti Van Melle Indonesia. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results indicate that FWA and PSS have a significant positive effect on WE, with t-values of 3.814 and 3.499 and p-values of 0.000 and 0.001, supporting hypotheses H1 and H2. WE also significantly positively affect employee performance, with a t-value of 15.804 and a p-value of 0.000, supporting hypothesis H3. Moreover, FWA and PSS improve employee performance through WE as a mediator, with t-values of 3.425 and 3.404 and p-values of 0.001, supporting hypotheses H4 and H5. In conclusion, flexible work arrangements and supervisor support significantly influence work engagement, which in turn enhances employee performance. Work engagement serves as a mediator that strengthens the effect of these two factors on performance, highlighting the importance of FWA and supervisor support in boosting productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara work life balance (WLB) dan keterlibatan karyawan melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Ketidakseimbangan antara kedua aspek ini dapat menyebabkan stres kerja, burnout, konflik rumah tangga, dan pada akhirnya berdampak negatif terhadap produktivitas serta loyalitas karyawan. Sebaliknya, work-life balance yang baik berkontribusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang sehat dan mendukung keterlibatan emosional serta kognitif karyawan terhadap organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review dengan menelaah 35 artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang terbit antara tahun 2010 hingga 2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara work-life balance dan employee engagement. Faktor-faktor penentu kualitas WLB antara lain fleksibilitas jam kerja, dukungan sosial dari atasan dan rekan kerja, budaya organisasi yang menghargai keseimbangan, serta motivasi intrinsik individu. Selain itu, strategi organisasi seperti penerapan kerja hibrida, penyediaan program kesejahteraan, dan pengembangan pemimpin yang empatik terbukti mampu meningkatkan kedua variabel secara signifikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam merancang kebijakan dan lingkungan kerja yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada hasil, tetapi juga memperhatikan kebutuhan holistik karyawan.

Abstract

Program PKM yang dilaksanakan menyasar Kelompok PKK Desa Sumberadi yang memiliki unit usaha catering yang dikelola secara mandiri oleh beberapa anggotanya. Masalah yang dihadapi anggota Kelompok PKK Desa Sumberadi dalam usaha cateringnya adalah minimnya pendapatan dari usaha catering tersebut. Setidaknya ada 2 bidang yang menjadi permasalahan utama yaitu pada sektor produksi yang belum mampu menghasilkan produk dengan nilai jual yang kompetitif, sedangkan sektor kedua adalah pada bagian pemasaran, terutama jangkauan pasar yang terbatas, permintaan yang tidak stabil, dan program promosi yang kurang dilaksanakan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas, tim pengabdian mengusulkan beberapa solusi yaitu: 1) meningkatkan daya saing produk; 2) meningkatkan keterampilan mitra terkait penyajian dan pengemasan produk; 3) Perluasan pasar; 4) peningkatan kualitas promosi; 5) penggunaan media sosial dalam program promosi. Pelaksanaan program ini akan dilakukan dalam 4 tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pelaporan dengan masa efektif program sekitar 8 bulan. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah metode FGD, dan pelatihan (workshop) dengan mengundang narasumber yang ahli di bidangnya.

Abstract

Based on data from the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), more people are investing in the capital market due to easy access and education through technology. This study compares the performance of Bitcoin, stocks, and gold to help investors make informed choices. The sample consists of monthly closing prices for these three investments from January 1, 2018, to April 30, 2023, with a total of 192 data. Results show no significant return difference between Bitcoin, LQ45 stock, and UBS gold. However, there are significant differences in risk between these three investments. Performance calculations using Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen methods also show significant differences. Based on the research, LQ45 stock is the best investment option for investors.

Abstract

The catering business produces food and beverages for sale to consumers with the goal of maximizing profits. The numerous catering businesses in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, both large and newly established, increase competition in aspects such as ordering methods and marketing media. Therefore, a system that utilizes the internet to market catering services is needed to help business owners more easily market and manage order data. Currently, the buying and selling process in catering businesses still uses conventional methods in marketing and transaction management, which have several inefficiencies. This community service aims to design an online catering ordering application to help business owners implement this design into an application that can be used to manage order data and market their business more broadly

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh meaningful work terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi pada guru dan karyawan Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya kualitas guru di Indonesia yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil Uji Kompetensi Guru, serta tingginya tingkat tekanan kerja, burnout, dan ketidakpuasan kerja yang berdampak pada kualitas pendidikan. Sebanyak 289 responden dari 41 sekolah dipilih menggunakan teknik stratified cluster sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) melalui SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meaningful work berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement, dan employee engagement berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, meaningful work secara langsung memengaruhi kepuasan kerja, namun pengaruh tidak langsung melalui employee engagement terbukti lebih kuat. Model penelitian memiliki goodness of fit yang baik dengan nilai Q-square 0,874 serta nilai R-square masing-masing 0,693 untuk employee engagement dan 0,590 untuk kepuasan kerja. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pekerjaan yang bermakna dan keterlibatan yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru dan karyawan, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya sekolah memperkuat makna kerja dan keterlibatan karyawan melalui sistem penghargaan, fasilitas kerja, pelatihan berkelanjutan, serta peningkatan kesejahteraan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan memperluas konteks dan variabel agar hasil lebih dapat digeneralisasikan.
