Abstract

Labor absorption from graduates of Vocational High Schools is lower than graduates of other education levels. It can see from the high unemployment rate of Vocational High Schools graduates of 13.55%. One way to improve vocational high school graduates' competence is by choosing the right major. Choosing the right major can help improve students' skill competencies and comfort during the teaching and learning process. The decision to choose a major that students currently make is based on the influence of others or based on the most in-demand majors. It will cause a mismatch in the placement of majors with the abilities of prospective students so that the material given during class will be difficult to accept. To help decision-making, the results of the recommendations from the decision support system (DSS) can use as a reference for selecting majors for prospective students. The data to be tested consists of seven criteria with six alternatives. The data is analyzed using the Multi-Objective Optimization on The Basic of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method and the Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS). The test results from both methods provide the same recommendation, namely the selection of the Electrical Power Installation Engineering Department as the highest preference based on the talents and interests of prospective students from on test data. When viewed from the time required for calculation analysis, the WASPS method requires faster than the MOORA method. The accuracy of the two methods used gave the same results, namely 50%. So it can conclude that the WASPAS and MOORA methods are overall suitable and can provide solutions to problems in assessing and evaluating majors by the talents and interests of prospective students.

Abstract

West Sumatra Province, with a high disaster risk level, requires a more efficient reporting system to support disaster management. Currently, the West Sumatra Provincial Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) relies on WhatsApp and Microsoft Excel, which are considered ineffective. The goal of this activity is to implement the mobile application E-Disaster on the Android platform to enhance disaster reporting efficiency at the BPBD of West Sumatra Province. The activity method consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. In the preparation stage, needs analysis is conducted through visits to the BPBD of West Sumatra Province to gather necessary information for application development. Implementation involves developing the application based on the gathered requirements and conducting demonstrations and handing over the application to the BPBD of West Sumatra Province. The reporting stage involves presenting the activity results and evaluating the application usage. The outcomes show that the E-Disaster application has been successfully implemented and well-received by the BPBD of West Sumatra Province. This application facilitates BPBD officers in promptly responding to disaster reports and enhances coordination and response in the field. The conclusion drawn from this activity is that the E-Disaster application can improve the response and efficiency of the BPBD of West Sumatra Province in monitoring and responding to disasters in the region. Thus, it is expected that this application will significantly contribute to disaster management in West Sumatra Province and serve as a model for developing similar systems in other high-risk disaster areas.

Abstract

P.T. (Persero) Credit Insurance Indonesia is one of the state-owned enterprises (SOEs) that engage in insurance or guarantees. The existence of PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo), which is one of the state-owned enterprises (SOE), has always been associated with the success of the economic development of the Nation and the Republic of Indonesia. Marketing plays a major role in the company, including PT Askrindo; However, determining strategic marketing location priorities requires careful analysis of drivers to avoid both tangible and intangible losses. The purpose of this research is to develop a decision support system (DSS) using a combination of the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and the PROMETHEE method, which can be considered in the selection of priority marketing positions based on predetermined standard . Using AHP and PROMETHEE methods to prioritize marketing locations with multiple location alternatives can aid decision-making activities, thereby improving a company's efficiency in making informed decisions. Having a decision support system, it can serve as a solution to help the branch of PT Askrindo in Medan to make decisions in choosing the best priority marketing positions.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe use of information technology in educational institutions be necessary for work to be efficient and flexible. The process of reporting student data and assessment results at SMA Negeri 1 Dharmasraya is still manual using paper (paper-based), and there is no specific storage for the database. To make reports on student learning outcomes and share resources easier then an information system was built on a client-server network using object-oriented programming with a centralized database so that the stored data can be organized. The build systems using the System Development Life Cycle waterfall model, which starts from the analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The results of this study are the establishment of a multiuser system that implements the use of client-server computer networks to process student grades.Key Words: Client-Server, Information Systems, OOP

Abstract

Indonesi merupakan Negara dengan konsumsi tanaman padi tertinggi di dunia. Pemerintah mentargetkan swasembada beras sehingga terus mengusahakan peningkatan produktivitas padi nasional. Salah satu solusinya adalah dengan mengembangkan teknologi Salibu. Pengembangan Teknologi Salibu selain memberi banyak keuntungan juga memiliki kendala, seperti tidak semua daerah dapat menerapkan teknik ini dan tenaga ahli yang masih kurang dan belum tersebar. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dirancang suatu aplikasi yang mampu merekomendasikan kondisi suatu daerah Cocok atau Tidak Cocok atau Cocok Bersyarat untuk diterapkan teknologi Salibu. Aplikasi yang dirancang menggunakan sistem pakar dengan metode Certainty Factor dan interface Android. Hasil yang didapat interface berkerja dengan baik. Tingkat akurasi 91,11 % dan kepuasan pengguna 90,5 %. Oleh karena itu dapat dikatakan aplikasi sistem pakar untuk mengidentifikasi kecocokan suatu daerah menerapakan tekonologi Salibu telah dapat digunakan.

Abstract

Rama Tenda Dekor adalah perusahaan yang menyediakan jasa sewa tenda untuk berbagai jenis acara. Saat ini, proses transaksi di perusahaan ini masih dilakukan secara manual, yang menyebabkan sejumlah kendala. Pelanggan sering kali kesulitan memperkirakan biaya pengeluaran untuk alat pesta, sementara pemilik mengalami kesulitan dalam memantau ketersediaan tenda. Sebagai usaha penyewaan tenda yang terus berkembang, proses transaksi manual menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti menumpuknya arsip transaksi yang membuat perusahaan kesulitan dalam merekap data transaksi secara efisien.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Penyewaan Tenda berbasis web pada Rama Tenda Dekor menggunakan framework CodeIgniter. Metode Pengembangan Sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode waterfall yang mencakup beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan sistem, pembangunan sistem, dan pengujian sistem. Sistem informasi ini dibangun menggunakan framework CodeIgniter dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP serta MySQL sebagai pengelola database. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah website yang mempermudah pelanggan dalam mendapatkan informasi detail produk yang akan disewa serta memungkinkan pemesanan secara langsung tanpa harus datang ke kantor. Dengan adanya website ini, dapat membantu pemilik dalam memantau ketersediaan tenda dan mengelola data transaksi secara lebih mudah dan terorganisir

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, managing data and information in educational environments has become increasingly crucial. The new student admission process at SDIT Rabbani Kota Bengkulu still faces several challenges, such as document accumulation, difficulties in data management, and delays in administrative procedures. These issues hinder the smooth and efficient execution of the admission process. To address these problems, this study aims to design and develop a web-based student admission information system equipped with an e-Reminder feature through a WhatsApp Gateway. The research adopts the Waterfall development methodology, which includes analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system is built using the Laravel and Vue.js frameworks and is integrated with WhatsApp services to send automatic notifications regarding important admission steps and schedules. The implementation results indicate that the system has successfully streamlined the admission process, reduced administrative delays, and improved communication between the school and prospective student guardians. Therefore, this system enhances administrative performance in student admissions and provides a more modern and informative service experience.

Abstract

At the department level, the Quality Control Group (GKM) is an extension of the Quality Assurance Institution. Implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) within the department is GKM's primary responsibility. With reference to the National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti) and international quality assurance (IQA), the SPMI policy seeks to be a commitment of higher education institutions to sustainably maintain and improve the quality of higher education providers in order to fulfill the vision and mission and satisfy stakeholders through the application of the Tridharma of higher education. In the PPEPP cycle (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, Improvement), GKM is crucial to maintaining quality standards. GKM keeps an eye on and assesses every application of quality standards. However, the GKM Team has not been able to perform its duties as effectively as they could in its implementation. The restricted amount of time and teams available is one of the causes. This study is to support the GKM's responsibilities, particularly with regard to monitoring and assessment. in order for GKM to perform its tasks more readily, effectively, and efficiently while saving time. The "Development of GKM Workspace Application" research will be used at Andalas University's Faculty of Information Technology's Information Systems study program.

Abstract

Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul Hijauan Pakan Ternak (BPTU HPT) in Padang Mengatas is the only Livestock Breeding Center in Indonesia that specializes in producing breeding stock of Simental and Limousin beef cattle. While BPTU HPT Padang Mengatas focuses on livestock farming, they also recognize the need for technology and programs to streamline their work and keep up with the evolving times. Currently, various activities such as internship registration, cattle sales, visit requests, guest registration, and community satisfaction indexing are still carried out manually, resulting in significant time consumption for both data entry and report compilation. Specifically, in the internship process, BPTU HPT Padang Mengatas requires the implementation of an internship attendance information system for interns. This system enables evaluation of the interns based on their performance and presence during the internship period. The introduction of this information system is expected to assist the employees of BPTU HPT Padang Mengatas, enabling internship supervisors to expedite the data collection process. Additionally, it is anticipated that this application will facilitate BPTU HPT Padang Mengatas in monitoring and controlling its activities.

Abstract

Public Health Center (Puskesmas) is a community health center that facilitates health services and implements community health efforts. In supporting its activities, the health center has not provided reports displaying visualizations according to the needs of the health center. Facing an increase in the number of patient visits, data analysis is needed to identify trends and forecast future patient visits. With more accurate information, the health center can plan and make better decisions in managing public health. To meet these needs, the proposed solution is the use of a dashboard-based system. Additionally, dashboards can play a crucial role in planning more effective disease awareness programs. By utilizing historical data and appropriate forecasting models, the health center can predict the number of patient visits and disease trends in the future. This will help the health center plan more effective prevention and intervention programs and improve the quality of patient care. In this study, data collection methods include field studies and literature reviews, with field studies involving observations and interviews. The research results include four dashboards: visit dashboard, polyclinic dashboard, disease case dashboard, and prediction dashboard.
