Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan anak berbakat merupakan bagian integrasi pendidikan pada umumnya, dengan kekhususan memberi kesempatan maksimal bagi anak berbakat untuk berfungsi sesuai dengan potensinya, dengan harapan bahwa pada suatu saat anak juga akan memberi sumbangan yang maksimal bagi  peningkatan kehidupan sesuai dengan aktualisasi potensinya itu. Pendidikan anak berbakat bertujuan agar (1) anak menguasai sistem konseptual dalam berbagai mata pelajaran, (2) anak mampu mengembangkan keterampiloan dan strategi yang memungkinkan mereka menjadi lebih mandiri, kreatif, dan memenuhi kebutuhannya sendiri, dan (3) anak harus mengembangkan suatu kesenangan dan gairah belajar yang akan membawa mereka kepada kerja keras. Anak berbakat pun memerlukan program yang dapat mengembangkan bakat dan potensinya.  Kata kunci: Pendidikan, Konsep, Keberbakatan AbstractThe education of gifted children is part of the integration of education in general, with the specificity of providing maximum opportunities for gifted children to function according to their potential, with the hope that one day the child will also make a maximum contribution to the improvement of life in accordance with the actualization of his potential. Education for gifted children aims to (1) children master conceptual systems in various subjects, (2) children are able to develop skills and strategies that enable them to be more independent, creative, and fulfill their own needs, and (3) children must develop a fun and passion for learning that will lead them to work hard. Abstract

Abstract – This his article discussed about the role of culture and values of local wisdom as a bulwark of radicalism that. Pervader all principles of people's live. Culture as a reflection of custom and behavior that incarnate to form a local wisdom is described through the spirit of coorperation, tolerance, and discussion to reach agreement by taking deliberation that is able to maintain the relationship of society life in harmony. By preserving and maintaining the culture and values of local wisdom well in the society life are expected to be contributor in preventing and minimizing the development and growth of radicalism in nation, state, and society life.Keywords: Culture, local wisdom, radicalism

Abstract

The application and adaptation of technology in learning spaces is a necessity in the face of changes in the era of globalization, the development of information and communication technology has had an influence on the world of education, especially in the learning process. Technological developments have led to innovative and creative learning models in the learning process. The network learning system (SPADA) has helped educators in facing the challenges of technological development. One learning model that can be applied in technological development is blended learning which is a combination of the advantages of face-to-face and virtual learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang makna dan fungsi mitos pantangan yang terdapat di Desa Pulau Beringin, Kecamatan Kikim Selatan, Kabupaten Lahat. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari makna dan fungsi  mitos pantangan yang terdapat di desa Pulau Beringin, Kecamatan Kikim Selatan, Kabupaten Lahat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna dan fungsi mitos yang terdapat di Desa Pulau Beringin, Kecamatan Kikim Selatan, Kabupaten Lahat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari empat orang informan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, rekam, dan catat. Adapun objek yang digunakan adalah masyarakat yang benar-benar mengetahui mitos yang terdapat di Desa Pulau Beringin, Kecamatan Kikim Selatan, Kabupaten Lahat. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Desa Pulau Beringin, Kecamatan Kikim Selatan, Kabupaten Lahat diperoleh 32 mitos pantangan. Terdapat makna semiotik Roland Barthes yaitu makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Selain makna dalam mitos pantangan juga terdapat fungsi. Fungsinya jika mengikuti aturan-aturan yang terdapat di dalam mitos maka akan berfungsi sebagai penata kehidupan sosial, dan pengontrol perilaku masyarakat. Mitos pantangan memiliki arti yang menceritakan tentang larangan bagi masyarakat Desa Pulau beringin, Kecamatan Kikim selatan, Kabupaten Lahat.Kata Kunci: makna, fungsi, mitos

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the influence of principal's leadership and work discipline on the professional competence of teachers. This research is a quantitative. The paper used questionnaire and interview sheet as instrument. The result showed that principal's leadership and work discipline both partially and simultaneously influenced the professional competence of teachers. The paper recommends to more concern on principal's leadership and work discipline where the school would change professional competence of teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan efektivitas metode the silent way dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Yayasan Pendidikan Islam (YPI) Tunas Bangsa Palembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA dan sampel yang dipilih secara acak didapat kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontorl. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi dan teknik tes berupa tes lisan serta analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata tes akhir siswa untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 85,88 dan nilai rata-rata tes akhir untuk kelas kontrol adalah 74,36. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat efektivitas metode the silent way dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa, hal ini terbukti dari hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung 14,05 ≥ ttabel 2,000 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan manajemen berbasis sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih yang ditinjau dari manajemen kurikulum manajemen kesiswaan, manajemen guru, manajemen sarana dan prasarana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif karena salah satu bentuk metode yang dapat mengungkapkan keadaan yang sebenarnya. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Kepala SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih; 2) guru, dan 3) tenaga administrasi dan ketatausahaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara triangulasi/ gabungan, analisis data bersifat induktif, dan hasil penelitian kualitatif lebih menekankan makna dari pada generalisasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Manajemen berbasis sekolah sudah diterapkan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih ditinjau dari manajemen sarana dan prasarana, manajemen kurikulum, manajemen peningkatan mutu guru dan manajemen kesiswaan.

Abstract

This research describes Directive and Expressive Speech Acts on the Vidi Podhub Podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube Channel, because this research has never been carried out before. The aim of this research is to describe directive and expressive speech acts on the Vidi Podhub Podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel. In this study, researchers used pragmatic studies in directive and expressive speech acts. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using note-taking techniques. Based on the research results, 12 directive utterances and 29 expressive utterances were found. Between the two directive and expressive speech acts, expressive speech acts are more numerous and dominant because the host can appreciate, give a good impression and give praise to each guest star they invite.

Abstract

Local Wisdom is a noble value contained in the cultural wealth of traditions in community groups from generation to generation that are passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, people must understand the value contained in the traditions they carry out. Based on this, the problem in this study is how local wisdom in the nganggung tradition in the study of religious values and traditional values in the nganggung tradition. The purpose of this research is to know how to describe the local wisdom in the Nganggung tradition in the study of religious values and traditional custom values. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the Nganggung tradition has religious values, namely reciting prayers, listening to lectures, helping, and strengthening friendship. As for the value of traditional customs, namely that the nganggung tradition is a hereditary tradition that has been carried out by the Sekar Biru Village Community. The nganggung tradition has provisions for the day of implementation, food to be brought, as well as reading prayers and lectures that are tailored to the day of the nganggung implementation. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the "Clash of Champions" game-based learning model on student learning motivation in mathematics learning for fifth-grade students at SDIT A Ba Ta Tsa Lahat. The population in this study was fifth-grade students at SDIT A Ba Ta Tsa Lahat. The samples in this study were students in class VB as the experimental class and class VC as the control class, with a total of 26 students in each class. The type of research used was experimental research with a quasi-experimental research method using a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. The instrument used in the student learning motivation test was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used a t-test (independent sample t-test) assisted by SPSS 26. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of the "Clash of Champions" game-based learning model on student learning motivation in mathematics learning for fifth-grade students at SDIT A Ba Ta Tsa Lahat. This is seen from the calculation of the t-test data analysis where the sig (2-tailed) value obtained is 0.001 < 0.05, then Ha is accepted.
