Abstract

This research aims to develop oral language skills through the storytelling method using hand puppets in the 4–5-year age group. The type of research used in this research is collaborative classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart research model. The research subjects were 17 children from the TK An Islam TK IT Abata Lombok group. Data collection techniques include observation and documentation. The research instrument used was an observation sheet instrument in the form of a checklist. Data analysis was carried out through quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The indicator of success in this research is if the child's oral language ability reaches 82% and gets 4 stars. The results of the research show that oral language ability through the storytelling method using hand puppets has increased. This can be seen from the proportion of children who received a very good category score, namely Very Well Developed or BSB, in cycle I increased by 23.5% and in cycle II increased by 82.3%. This shows that the use of hand puppet media, especially in TK IT Abata Lombok I, has proven to be more effective in improving the oral language skills of children aged 4-5 years

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in children's fine motor skills through playing with plasticine media in group A RA Biharul Ulum Ma'arif Ujung Labuang. The problem in this research is how to improve children's fine motor skills through playing with plasticine media. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which includes two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in 3 meetings and each cycle is carried out sequentially consisting of 4 stages, namely ( 1).Planning, (2).Implementing actions, (3).Observation, (4).Reflection. The research subjects were 21 children consisting of 9 boys and 12 girls. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative, the increase in learning outcomes that occurred in cycle 1, which was held three times, resulted in Very Good Development Criteria (BSB) with a percentage of 0.19%. In cycle 2 there was an increase in fine motor skills through playing with plasticine in group A, there was an increase in the criteria for Very Well Developed (BSB) with a percentage of 1.76%. Using plasticine media can improve children's fine motor skills, therefore it is important for teachers to give examples to children and provide motivation to children, one of which is by giving children the opportunity to create free forms of plasticine play activities that can be shaped and processed according to their wishes and needs. child's imagination

Abstract

Terjadinya variasi bahasa bukan hanya disebabkan oleh penutur yang beragam, tetapi karena kegiatan interaksi sosial yang dilakukan juga sangat beragam. Sosiolinguistik memandang bahasa sebagai sistem sosial dan sistem komunikasi yang paling utama, selain itu sosiolinguistik merupakan bagian dari masyarakat dan kebudayaan terhadap bahasa dan hubungannya dalam pemakaiannya di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitiann ini ialah untuk menganalisis pemerolehan variasi bahasa yang diperoleh anak usia dini di Canden, Jetis, Bantul. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah anak usia dini. Sedangkan objek penelitian ini yaitu pemerolehan variasi bahasa anak. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis pada penelitian ini ialah menggunakan Miles and Huberman. Data yang diperoleh kemudian di reduksi, disajikan, dan diambil sebuah kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa wujud pemerolehan variasi bahasa pada anak 3 tahun yaitu menggunakan bahasa Jawa Ngoko, Bahasa Jawa Kromo dan Bahasa Indonesia untuk berinterasksi dan berkomunikasi dengan orang lain dalam keseharian anak baik di lingkungan keluarga maupun di lingkungan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas penerapan tugas kontekstual berbasis teori APOS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa calon guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen dengan model kelompok kontrol non-ekivalen, melibatkan kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis tugas kontekstual dengan pendekatan teori APOS serta kelas kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang mencakup lima indikator utama, yaitu kemampuan menyatakan ide secara tertulis, menggunakan representasi, menjelaskan prosedur, mengaitkan konsep dengan konteks nyata, serta menyusun argumen matematis. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Rasch, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji-t independen, analisis peningkatan skor, serta pemodelan struktural berbasis PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes yang digunakan memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik dengan distribusi tingkat kesulitan butir soal yang seimbang. Temuan utama memperlihatkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol pada seluruh indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Selain itu, model struktural mengonfirmasi bahwa teori APOS berkontribusi positif terutama pada aspek menjelaskan prosedur dan penggunaan representasi matematis. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan tugas kontekstual berbasis teori APOS efektif dalam memperkuat keterampilan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa calon guru serta memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan matematika yang lebih kontekstual dan bermakna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam konteks les privat serta perkembangan awal penguasaan kosa kata anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan partisipan seorang anak usia 5 tahun yang mengikuti les privat selama satu bulan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara orang tua, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis permainan dan media visual meningkatkan minat serta keterlibatan anak dalam mengenal kosa kata bahasa Arab. Anak menunjukkan perkembangan dalam pengucapan serta pengenalan 6–8 kosa kata dasar setelah empat kali pertemuan. Faktor pendukung pembelajaran meliputi lingkungan belajar yang nyaman, media konkret, serta hubungan dekat antara guru dan anak. Adapun faktor penghambat ialah rentang perhatian yang pendek, kesulitan fonetik, dan kurangnya pengulangan di rumah. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan bermain dan interaksi personal dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk anak usia dini

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are essential for conveying ideas, interpreting symbols, and linking abstract concepts to contextual phenomena. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of applying APOS theory-based contextual tasks in improving the mathematical communication skills of prospective teacher students. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group model, involving an experimental class that receives contextual task-based learning using the APOS theory approach and a control class that follows conventional learning. The instrument used was a mathematical communication skills test covering five main indicators, namely the ability to express ideas in writing, use representations, explain procedures, relate concepts to real contexts, and construct mathematical arguments. The data were analyzed using the Rasch model, normality test, homogeneity test, independent t-test, score improvement analysis, and PLS-SEM-based structural modeling. The results indicate that the instrument demonstrates strong validity and reliability, as reflected by average Infit and Outfit MNSQ values of 1.00, item reliability of 0.89, and person reliability of 0.84. Significant differences were found between the experimental and control groups across all indicators of mathematical communication skills, with higher posttest mean scores in the experimental group (76.10) compared to the control group (49.87), as well as greater learning gains in the experimental group (N-Gain 68.27%) than in the control group (33.18%). The structural model further confirms the positive contribution of APOS theory to mathematical communication skills, particularly in explaining procedures (β = 0.323) and using mathematical representations (β = 0.257). Overall, this study confirms that the application of APOS theory-based contextual tasks is effective in strengthening the mathematical communication skills of prospective teachers and provides important implications for the development of a more contextual and meaningful mathematics education curriculum.
