Abstract

Islamic business ethics is the implementation of the basic principles of Islamic-based business, which the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah guide. This study will explain online business practices in Indonesia by observing an Islamic perspective. This study uses a qualitative strategy by investigating Islamic business ethics in online business practices in Indonesia through information and document data collection in the form of reputable online media news. Data were analyzed and managed using Nvivo plus 12; then, conclusions were drawn. The aim of this study is achieved by finding that there are still many ethical violations in online business practices from a religious perspective. The findings also reveal that Islamic values are rarely used in business implementation because some violations occur not based on the intention of worship and are not based on Islamic principles such as At-Tauhid, Al-Amanah, As-Sidq, Al-Adalah, At-Ta'awun, Al-Maslahah, At-Taradi, and Al-Akhlaq Al-Karimah. This also proves that online business practices are still oriented to worldly aspects. The implication of the results of this study explains that doing business activities from an Islamic perspective contains principles that comprehensively govern ethics. So that the purpose of doing business is not solely for the interests of worldly welfare, but for the welfare of the ukhrawi in the pleasure of Allah SWT, and the benchmarks are al-Qur'an and al-Hadith.

Abstract

The Regular Community Service Program 132 in Jonggrangan, Kulon Progo, focuses on raising public awareness about the prevention of Foot and Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV) through digital education. The main issue faced by the community is the lack of understanding regarding FMDV and its transmission, which impacts the local cattle farming sector. The objective of this program is to provide digital-based education to enhance farmers' and the community's understanding of FMDV prevention and early treatment. The methods used in this program include a qualitative approach with observations, in-depth interviews, group discussions, and direct counseling sessions with farmer groups and the community. The program includes the creation and dissemination of educational videos, e-books, the installation of posters in cattle barns, the development of a land-use map archive for the distribution of cattle barns, green areas, and residential zones in Jonggrangan, as well as training sessions featuring veterinarians as speakers. The results of this program indicate a significant increase in public understanding, with 38 out of 42 farmers stating that they better understand the symptoms and preventive measures of FMDV after participating in the education sessions. Additionally, the land-use map created during this program helps the village government monitor the distribution of cattle barns and design more effective prevention strategies. This initiative has successfully raised community awareness of the importance of barn hygiene and biosecurity procedures, which is expected to reduce the spread of FMDV in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction and workplace spirituality on turnover intention through affective commitment as an intervening variable. The study was conducted on employees of PT Agung Toyota Paal 10 Jambi with respondents taken through saturated sampling techniques of 128 respondents. The data analysis technique chosen was SEM with SmartPLS-3 software. The results of the study found that job satisfaction has a positive effect on affective commitment. So does workplace spirituality. And as previously suspected, employee affective commitment can reduce turnover intention. So does job satisfaction. However, this study has not been able to prove that workplace spirituality can reduce turnover intention. High workplace spirituality cannot be directly used as a strategy to reduce turnover intention. This study also proves the mediating role of affective commitment in explaining the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention and also mediating the effect of workplace spirituality on turnover intention. In addition, workplace spirituality can reduce turnover intention through commitment felt by employees. This study provides implications regarding the importance of organizations developing a work climate that creates spirituality to increase positive responses and reduce the desire to leave the organization.
