Abstract

This study aimed to determine student teachers' perceptions about the mastery of pedagogical competencies of students of the PPG Pre-service Study Program at FKIP Palangka Raya University in 2022 in Field Experience Practice. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research involved 15 student teachers as subjects, with the object being 62 students of the Pre-service PPG Study Program at FKIP Palangka Raya University in 2022, namely wave I as many as 33 people, and wave II as many as 29 people. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that had been validated by three experts and obtained a value of V (Aiken Index) = 0.92> 0.8 including in the high category and a PA value (Percentage of agreement) = 93%, meaning that it was feasible to use to collect data. The results showed that in wave I, 3 students (9.09%) were obtained in the high category, 24 students (72.73%) in the medium category and 6 students (18.18%) in the low category, and wave II, 4 students (13.79%) were obtained in the high category, 20 students (68.97%) in the medium category and 5 students (17.24%) in the low category. From waves I and II, it can be seen that the largest frequency is in the medium category, so it can be concluded that the perceptions of student teachers about the mastery of pedagogical competence of students of the PPG Study Program at FKIP Palangka Raya University in 2022 are in the medium category.

Abstract

This study used multiple linear regression data analysis techniques to determine the effect of learning burnout and academic procrastination of students, both individually and together, on mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study was conducted on 88 students of class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya, who were selected by simple random sampling. Data collection used a test for problem-solving abilities and a questionnaire for each learning burnout and academic procrastination. Before conducting multiple linear regression, prerequisite tests were carried out, namely: normality test, heteroscedasticity test, linearity test, autocorrelation test, and multicollinearity test. After meeting the prerequisite tests, the analysis was carried out and the results obtained were that there was an effect of learning burnout on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, there was an effect of academic procrastination on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, and there was an effect of learning burnout and academic procrastination together on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class X students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The relationship between students' prior knowledge and real knowledge in their environment can be a consideration in learning. Understanding this real context is related to the standards of the mathematics learning process, namely integration with culture, integration of culture with mathematics learning is called ethnomathematics. Ethnomathematics refers to the learning process that combines mathematical concepts with local cultural wisdom. The purpose of this study is on the Benang Bintik motif of the typical Dayak cloth of Central Kalimantan which contains mathematical elements in it. The type of research conducted is exploratory research with an ethnographic approach, where research seeks causes or things that influence the occurrence of something or is used when researchers do not know exactly and specifically about the object of research. Ethnography is a type of qualitative research, where researchers conduct studies on group culture in natural conditions through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the exploration carried out found geometric concepts in flat shapes in the form of squares, rectangles, triangles, pentagons, isosceles trapezoids, parallelograms, rhombuses and kites. The concept of this flat shape pattern can be a reference for teaching materials in classroom learning. The use of typical regional cloth motifs will certainly make learning more interesting in mathematics learning. The concept of flat geometry that is usually taught conventionally can be changed contextually through an ethnomathematics approach. Not only does it change the learning paradigm, it can also be a place to preserve local culture, especially the typical Dayak cloth motifs in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

The Interactive Multimedia Training for Teachers in the Watershed Area aimed to enhance teachers' competencies in utilizing interactive multimedia technology in teaching. The training was designed to address educational challenges in watershed areas, which require innovative and relevant approaches in the teaching process. The training methods included both theoretical and practical sessions, with materials covering the introduction of multimedia software, techniques for creating interactive learning media, and the application of technology in the context of environmental education. The results of the training showed that participating teachers were also able to develop multimedia-based teaching materials that are more engaging and contextual for students. This initiative is expected to serve as a model for teacher competency development in other regions with similar geographical conditions, and contribute to the improvement of technology-based education quality in Indonesia, particularly in watershed areas. The training marks a significant initial step in supporting the integration of technology in education and environmental conservation efforts through contextual learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of Pre-service PPG students regarding the implementation of the PPG hybrid Learning program at Palangka Raya University in 2024. This research uses descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative approaches with survey research type. The population in this study were all PPG Pre-service students totaling 133 people. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires consisting of closed and open questionnaires. Before being used, the questionnaire was first validated and obtained a value of V = 0.86> 0.8 including the high category and the reliability test obtained a value of PA = 91%> 75% including the good category and feasible to use. The results showed that the perceptions of Pre-service PPG students towards the implementation of the PPG Hybrid Learning program at Palangka Raya University were obtained in the aspects of learning implementation, learning activities and learning completeness were included in the very good category, this can be seen from the questionnaire results where students who answered agree and strongly agree reached more than 80%, some even more than 90%. Whereas in the aspect of lecture halls and learning facilities, it is still included in the insufficient category, especially in the statement about the facilities provided by the campus being adequate in the implementation of hybrid learning, this can be seen from the results of the student questionnaire who answered agree and strongly agree only reached 35%, which means there are still around 65% of students who answered disagree and disagree in the questionnaire given.
