Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know descriptive knowledge about therapeutic communication skills. To get this result, this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach where by collecting data that is supplied by sentences in it. Literature Review Steps include: Systematic Identification, Document Analysis containing information about the problem of problems. In this study, data collection methods used by researchers are documentation methods, data on data about matters or variables in books, newspapers, journals, and so on. Books, literature, and notes about the problems to be discussed. The techniques used are content analysis or content review. The results of this study are: Communication is an important factor in medical professional careers and service success in the world of health. Medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, and others need communication to support their work success. The results of the study revealed that good communication between doctors and patients at the hospital indicated progress or improvement in the patient's physical and emotional health, as well as better control of various chronic diseases. Communication that is planned consciously, aims and activities are centered on patient recovery is referred to as therapeutic communication. Therapeutic communication is very important and useful for patients, because good communication can provide an understanding of patient behavior and help patients overcome the problems they face.

Abstract

Mathematics education courses are still perceived by some students as difficult and unpleasant subjects. Because of that, many students had surrendered before the war. Therefore, the general purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the management of e-learning media in order to improve the quality of mathematics learning in private universities. In addition, this study specifically aims to describe and analyze: 1) e-learning media planning; 2) Organizing e-learning media; 3) Implementation of e-learning media; 4) Evaluation of e-learning media; 5) The problem of e-learning media; 6) Solutions for e-learning media problems; 7) The impact of e-learning media. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through interviews, observations, and document studies. Management theory uses George R. Terry (1992), Edgar Dale's media theory (1969), Edward Sallis' quality theory (2006), and Cronbach's learning theory (Suprijono, 2009). The results of the study are as follows: 1) The planning of e-learning media has been running according to the planning principles although it is not yet complete; 2) The organization of e-learning media has been effective in accordance with the main tasks and functions of work units in the university environment, although it is not yet fully flexible; 3) The implementation of e-learning media, in principle, the two study programs have carried out according to the plan, although there are still some implementations that have not been in accordance with the predetermined plan; 4) Evaluation of e-learning media, in principle, both study programs evaluate programs based on Dikti standards by conducting a cycle (PPEPP); 5) The problem of e-learning media, in principle, the two study programs are not that serious, only technical problems such as the unstable internet network in certain areas; 6) The solution to the problem of e-learning media, in principle, both study programs have the same policy to solve the same problem related to the use of e-learning media, namely on human resources, infrastructure and e-learning facilities; 7) The impact of using e-learning media is that in principle the two study programs have similarities in increasing student learning outcomes and students giving a positive appreciation for learning mathematics. Management of e-learning media to improve the quality of mathematics learning at private universities has been oriented to the principles of learning to use e-learning media.

Abstract

Algebraic thinking ability is a fairly important ability that must be possessed by students, but in working on test questions there are still some mistakes made by students. Therefore, this study aims to find out what the most mistakes made by students in solving the algebraic thinking ability test refer to Newman's Error Analysis theory and also to find out what factors influence student errors in solving the algebraic thinking test. The research was conducted at public high schools in Cianjur in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Using a quantitative approach with the type of research conducted is descriptive. The algebraic thinking ability test instrument given as many as 3 questions to 29 students as research subjects within 60 minutes in addition to the test, interviews were also conducted to find out what factors influenced students in making mistakes. The results showed that the most mistakes made by students in working on algebraic thinking ability test questions were in the encoding indicator of 34%, the factors that influenced student errors included students not being used to working on problems systematically, students were also not used to writing answers completely, students did not understand the concept of algebra and did not understand the problem.

Abstract

Cianjur Regency is an area that is in the crust of the Sunda plate, and is right above the very active Cimandiri fault and stretches from Palabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi, Cianjur, Bandung to Cirebon Regency. At any time a shift (earthquake) and other natural disasters can strike, this is very important because the vast area of Cianjur stretches from south to north bordering Bogor, Bandung, and Sukabumi so applications such as preparedness efforts need to be made so that evacuation and coordination run smoothly if the facilities are not supported, the application for natural disaster evacuation uses an application platform that is widely used. Research using the Scrum Process application development method which is part of the agile development method, based on Scrum this process has produced research products in the form of applications that can be used by the BPBD in coordinating and evacuating refugees caused by disasters. so that all possibilities such as assisting can be carried out on target, providing information on the loss of refugee family members can be minimized, and so on being able to help BPBD coordinate everything.

Abstract

A system to recognize the faces of family members is the next generation of the system based on biometrics that we commonly encounter using facial patterns and characteristics as identification objects. This family member recognition system uses existing facial patterns in the database system as storage, then does a comparison with the tested image. The facial pattern recognition system has some problems, for example, difficulty in recognizing objects with different lighting levels in the process of taking the picture. To overcome the obstacles that occur due to variations in light levels was developed software by applying the singular value decomposition (SDV) method. The result of In this study, the application of facial pattern recognition is thought to have a relationshipkinship that is useful for identifying someone who is in the test image as well as displays a person's identity if a match is found with the sample on the application. In this study, the samples used were 100 facial images and 50 facial images of random humans, the resulting level of accuracy of this software is 92.8769% in recognizing patterns of kinship face, 60.1775% in matching the test image with the existing sample on the basis application data and 90.9567% when determining the identity of someone who is the same as databases.
