Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this development research was to produce a e-learning model as teaching instruments in rural areas. The development process was through mrelalui thought experiments and instruction experimentsby skills process.The Subjects were elementary school’ students and teachers in three villages at West Java area. Results were: (1) description of rural condition for development of teaching model on the basis of e-learning, (2) pre-condition optimum implemention of e-learning teaching, (3) teaching model with e-learning system used application Moodle. Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan suatu model e-learning untuk sarana pembelajaran di pedesaan. Proses pengembangannya ditempuh melalui thought experiments dan instruction experiments melalui proses siklis. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dan guru SD di tiga desa di daerah Jawa Barat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil Penelitian berupa (1) gambaran kondisi pedesaan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis e-learning; (2) prasyarat berjalannya e-learning secara optimal, (3) model pembelajaran dengan sistem e-learning menggunakan aplikasi Moodle.

Abstract

The role of technology integration on modern learning is essential to optimize the acceleration process in Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This research describes how to implement e-learning to improve HOTS of students and students’ attitude toward e-learning of mathematics, pre- learning students knowledge, duration of login in website, and correlation of variables with HOTS. The subject is 162 students in semester IV, from two different universities and are relatively different in their pre-learning knowledge. The instrument used in this research consisted of pre-learning knowledge HOTS test, students’ attitude scale and technology (computer and internet) skills self test. Based on analysis of the data, it is concluded that students’ HOTS who have studied through blended learning are much better than other learning (full e-learning and conventional approaches). Students’ HOTS with conventional model is better than full e-learning. However, students’ HOTS with full e-learning is worst than other learning (blended learning and conventional). The attitude of students towards e-learning in both learning approaches (blended learning and full e-learning) is positive. There is no significant difference in students’ attitude to these two learning ways. There is a significant correlation between pre-learning knowledge and students’ HOTS, but there is no significant correlation between students’ HOTS and students’ attitude toward e-learning of mathematics. There is a significant correlation between login duration and students attitude toward e-learning of mathematics. No significant correlation is found between login duration and students’ HOTS.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe learning motivation, mathematical understanding and activities of students' and teachers at Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah/MTs) through Active Knowledge Sharing strategy. The research is conducted in MTs. Al-Mukhlisin Bandung Indonesia.  The method of this research is a mixed method with Classroom Action Research (CAR). The instruments used were motivation questionnaires, observation sheets, mathematical understanding tests and observation sheets. The results of the research indicate that learning motivation, mathematical understanding and activities of teachers and students through the Active Knowledge Sharing strategy increase in each cycle. Students' learning motivation is shown from the result of the questionnaire, states that the average percentage of motivation indicator increase in each cycle, those are 70,35% (cycle I), 71,17% (cycle II ) and 72.15% (cycles III), student mathematical understanding indicated from the test results states that the average value increases in each cycle and the end of the cycle has reached the classical completeness, that is 79.41%, the activities of students and teachers during teaching- learning increased in each cycle of 60.95% (cycle I), 73.33% (cycle II) and 86.67% (cycles III).

Abstract

Pendekatan Saintifik berbasis e-learning dapat eningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis dan Self-confidence Siswa. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan self-confidence merupakan aspek penting yang perlu dikuasai siswa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Resources-Based Learning dengan pendekatan Scientific menggunakan media e-learning adalah sebuah metode pembelajaran inovatif yang memungkinkan siswa untuk dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis aneka sumber melalui kerangka ilmiah yang didukung dengan media interaktif berbasis teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan pengaruh metode Resources-Based Learning dengan pendekatan Scientific menggunakan media e-learning terhadap peningkatan Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan self-confidence siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII Semester 2 dari 3 kelas yang sudah terbentuk.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan angket yang dianalisis dengan statistik anova satu jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data, diperoleh bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan self-confidence siswa yang pembelajarannya melalui Resources-Based Learning dengan pendekatan Scientific menggunakan media e-learning lebih baik dibandingkan melalui Resources-Based Learning tanpa menggunakan media e-learning dan pembelajaran konvensional, dimana terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dengan self-confidence.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengaruh E-learning untuk Meningkatkan Daya Matematik Abstrak: Pengaruh E-learning untuk Meningkatkan Daya Matematik Mahasiswa. Peran integrasi teknologi pada pembelajaran modern cukup penting guna terjadinya proses percepatan dalam peningkatan daya matematika (mathematical power) secara optimal. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan pengaruh e-learning untuk meningkatkan daya matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV pada dua level LPTK yang berbeda. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes dan teknik analisis data dengan statistik anova dua jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa daya matematika mahasiswa yang pembelajarannya melalui blended learning lebih baik dibandingkan melalui full e-learning dan konvensional. Tetapi, daya matematika mahasiswa yang pembelajarannya melalui full e-learning kurang baik dibandingkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, peran guru dalam pembelajaran matematika tidak dapat tergantikan oleh teknologi informasi. Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara daya matematik dengan pengetahuan awal, tetapi tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara daya matematik dan durasi login. Kata Kunci: e-learning, daya matematik, blended learning Abstract: Influence of E-learning to Improve Students’ Mathematical Power. The role of technology on modern learning is essential to the acceleration process in the improvement of mathematical power. This research describes the influence of elearning to improve mathematical power. The subject is the fourth semester students at two Universities. The results show that students who learned through blended learning method are much better in mathematical power than students who learned through full e-learning or conventional approaches. Furthermore, students who learned through e-learning are worse than students used conventional method. Therefore, this indicates that the role of teachers in the mathematics learning process can not be replaced by information technology. In addition, there is a significant correlation between mathematical power and pre-knowledge, on the other hand there is no a significant correlation between mathematical power and login duration. Abstract

This article discusses the results of the reading text development on the small group stage for reading activities on the school literacy movements in mathematics learning with the futsal game context, which is currently being enjoyed by the people, especially among students. This research used a design research method whose type is development studies. The evaluation flow at the prototyping stage uses the formative study flow with the stages of self-evaluation, expert review and one-to-one, small group, and field test. The research subjects were 7th-grade students in one of the junior high schools in Kabupaten Karawang. Documentation, questionnaires, and interviews are ways to collect data in this study. This study has produced the reading texts that are used for the school literacy movement program with the futsal context on practical mathematics learning.

Abstract

School Literacy Movement, one of the government's efforts to optimize the ability of students in terms of literacy, needs support from every circle; one of them is from researches in the educational field. This research aims to develop reading texts in a futsal context that will be presented in students’ worksheet with valid and practical criteria that will have a potential effect in mathematics learning. This research is using the design research method with a development studies type that consists of three main steps, such as preliminary, prototyping, and assessment with an evaluation plot formative study that used in a prototyping step, including the self-evaluation, expert review and one-to-one, small group, and field test. The research subjects are the students in 7th grade in one of Junior High School in Karawang. There are some steps taken in the data collection process, such as documentation, walkthrough, questionnaire, test, and interview. According to the data analysis, it can be concluded that this research has been producing a product in the form of thirteen reading the text for School Literacy Movement invalid and practical mathematics learning that will have a potential effect for the students’ learning result in the mathematics learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman matematika siswa melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) di Sekolah SMP PGRI Pamanukan. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan (observasi) dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI Pamanukan dengan Materi Relasi dan fungsi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes formatif setiap siklus dan observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siklus. Pada siklus pertama rerata nilai ulangan harian siswa sebesar 6,02 dan rerata nilai ulangan harian pada siklus kedua sebesar 6,81 sedangkan rerata nilai di siklus ketiga sebesar 8,03. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematika hingga memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM).

Abstract

The purpose of holding Microsoft Kaizala training is to train teachers' skills in making teaching materials according to the stages of problem solving exploration. This community service activity was attended by 163 participants, with the target activities being mathematics teachers and mathematics education students. The methods of implementing the service carried out are: (1) surveying the effectiveness of online mathematics learning; (2) forum group discussion (FGD); (3) webinars on the use of the microsoft kaizala application; (4) assistance in making teaching materials and evaluation instruments with the Microsoft Kaizala application and (5) evaluating the implementation of community service. The results of the evaluation showed that in general the participants expressed satisfaction with the implementation of community service activities that had been carried out.

Abstract

The connection ability and disposition of mathematics of junior high school students still need to be improved. This research purpose to analyze the enhancement of connection of mathematics abilities and mathematical dispositions of students who received CORE learning models and conventional learning and to analyze the correlation between the connection abilities and students’ dispositions. This study uses the embedded type Mixed Method. The population was all eighth-grade students one of the public junior high schools in Pangalengan, Bandung Regency, and the sample involved as many as 74 students. The instruments used were a mathematical connection ability test, a disposition questionnaire, an observation sheet, and an interview guide. Analysis of data used two Independent Sample t-Test and Mann Whitney test. The results showed that: 1) the improvement of the connection ability of students who received CORE learning was better than students who received conventional learning 2) the disposition of students who received the CORE learning model was better than students who received conventional learning models, 3) there was no relationship between connection ability and disposition of students using the CORE learning model. The conclusion is CORE model is effective to improve students' mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition.
