Abstract

Pola penerapan hidup bersih dan sehat merupakan bentuk dari perilaku berdasarkan kesadaran sebagai wujud dari pembelajaran agar individu bisa menolong diri sendiri baik pada masalah kesehatan ataupun ikut serta dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang sehat di lingkungannya. Pelaksanaan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan sekumpulan perilaku yang dipraktekkan berdasarkan kesadaran sebagai hasil dari pembelajaran. Tujuan Pendidikan Kesehatan Perilaku Hidup Bersih Sehat dan Gizi Anak Sekolah di Dusun Bonto Bonto Desa Tunikamaseang Kabupaten Maros sebagai upaya promotif dan preventif terhadap penularan suatu penyakit. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa pendidikan kesehatan, sedangkan untuk media yang digunakan yaitu video dan pengaplikasian Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan observasi langsung pada saat penyuluhan dengan melihat interaksi antara peserta dengan pemateri penyuluhan dan keaktifan peserta dalam acara edukasi. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh data peserta paham dan mampu mengaplikasikan secara langsung tentang cara mencuci tangan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat “Pendidikan kesehatan tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di Dusun Bonto Bonto Desa Tunikamaseang Kabupaten Maros pada anak dan remaja mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan serta memahami pola penerapan hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) dengan cara mencuci tangan dan pola makan yang sehat.

Abstract

The quality of dug well water should comply with established regulations. The pollution caused by bacteria to water in the ground widens to ± 2 meters at a distance of 5 meters from the source of pollution 3 and narrows to a distance of 11 meters in the direction of the ground flow. This type of research is descriptive research, namely to determine the use of silica sand filter media, activated carbon in filter reactors on reducing TDS, Nitrite (NO2), Dissolved Manganese and MPN Coliform by comparing the composition of the filter media with reference to clean water quality standards Permenkes No. 2 In 2023, the samples in this research were dug wells located in Kapasa Village, Biringkanaya District, Makaasar City. The results of this research after the filtration intervention of manganese media, activated charcoal and silica sand, found that TDS, color, Manganese Nitrite (NO3) had decreased levels of environmental pollution, this is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2023. Conclusions from the results research shows that silica sand, manganese and activated charcoal filtration media, TDS, manganese nitrate (NO2) and MPN Coliform can effectively reduce water pollution levels in dug wells in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation. So the risk of infectious and non-communicable diseases can be overcome with the intervention of silica sand, manganese and activated charcoal filtration media.

Abstract

This study aims to find the effect of knowledge about nutrition on poor families in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi - Indonesia. To find the effect of socioeconomic status on food consumption behavior of poor families in Maros Regency. This type of research is ex-post facto using a quantitative approach with a survey method. The design or research model on the effect of exogenous variables, namely Socio-Economic Status is given a symbol (X1), Knowledge about nutrition is given a symbol (X2), and endogenous variables, namely Food Consumption Behavior are given a symbol (Y). The research locations are in Tukamasea Village, Mattoangin Village, Minasa Baji Village, and Alatengae Village, Bantimurung District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. More specifically, the main locus of research is poor families in 4 (four) villages in Bantimurung District, Maros Regency. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The number of samples in this study was 200 households. The data analysis technique used is Path Analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that there are (1) there is an influence of socioeconomic status on consumption behavior, there is a direct and indirect effect of knowledge about nutrition on the food consumption behavior of poor families (direct influence), and knowledge about nutrition has an effect on lifestyle (indirect effect).

Abstract

Environmental sanitation is an important factor in maintaining public health and preventing the occurrence of environmentally related diseases. Poor sanitation can be a medium for transmitting various diseases, such as diarrhea, skin diseases, and respiratory infections. This study aims to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of environmentally related diseases. The study used an observational analytical design with a cross - sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 120 heads of families selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and environmental sanitation observation sheets, then analyzed using the Chi- Square test. The results showed a significant relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of environmentally related diseases (p < 0.05). It was concluded that poor environmental sanitation increases the risk of environmentally related diseases. Efforts to improve environmental sanitation and provide ongoing public health education are needed.

Abstract

In order to improve the level of public health. There are many things that need to be considered, one of which is considered to have a quite important role, namely health care. So that the desired health management can be carried out well. There are many conditions that must be met, one of which is that the health service must have good quality values. Performance will be directed at all efforts carried out using human resources and supporting work facilities, thus all ideas and policies are taken to increase the company's work productivity. Efforts to compress existing resources to make something happen optimally by combining sources and results in an optimal form, human labor, in addition to facilities and other production sources are resources that must be utilized fully and purposefully.  This research aims to determine the relationship between competence, work discipline and satisfaction with employee performance. The type of research used is an observational study with a cross sectional study approach. The population of this study was 49 civil servants, and the sample in this study was a total population of 49 people. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between competency, work discipline and employee satisfaction with employee performance at the Bontosunggu Community Health Center, Gowa Regency. Bontomarannu Community Health Center can prioritize developing the work competencies of its employees through training, workshops and further education as well as providing rewards for employees who excel. This will help improve the quality of service provided by employees. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between work competency, work discipline, job satisfaction and employee performance at the Bontomarannu Community Health Center, Gowa Regency.  Keywords : competency; discipline, satisfaction, performance

Abstract

Stunting cases in Maros Regency decreased from 3812 cases or 13.04% in 2020 to 2892 cases or 9.47%, but in 2022 the opposite happened, namely a significant increase in the number of cases and the prevalence of cases increased to 3750 cases or 12 .82%. In Tompobulu District, stunting cases have decreased from 12.69% in 2020, down to 12.11% in 2021. And in 2022 it will fall to 9.69%. Therefore, in this research we will analyze the relationship between the five STBM pillars and stunting cases in Tompobulu District, Maros Regency. The type of research in this research is research using a survey with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population in this study were all stunted toddlers who were examined, totaling 146 toddlers. The sample in this research is the entire population. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between CTPS (0.005), drinking water and food management (0.005), securing RT waste (0.000), and securing liquid waste (0.000) with the incidence of stunting. Meanwhile, stopping defecation has no relationship with the incidence of stunting (0.911). The conclusion of this study is that the 4 variables in the study have a relationship with the occurrence of stunting. It is recommended that local communities increase awareness of the importance of sanitation in their area in order to reduce the high stunting rate.  Keywords: 5 Pillars, Community Based Total Sanitation (STBM), Stunting
