Abstract

This study will reveal the quality of the textbooks used in DIY for high school students. From this research, the textbook standard will become a reference so that it can be used to achieve the goals of regional language education that have been mandated in the curriculum. This is a descriptive study. The data were collected from the WIBAWA book "Wiyata Basa Jawa". The research instrument consisted of WIBAWA textbook assessment instrument with Fry Graph instruments/indicators. WIBAWA textbook readability was 66.67%, while 33.33% of the book did not meet legibility. The 33.33% unacceptability does not mean completely unacceptable, but there are parts that are too easy and some parts that are too difficult, so it needs to be revised.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the implementation of feminist literary criticism and the development of Arabic literature learning. This research used qualitative case study method with research place in the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University. Researchers collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the depiction of women in the poem Asyhadu An Lā Imroatan Illa Anti by Nizar from a feminist point of view is a positive image and does not reveal a patriarchal culture. it is recommended for lecturers of Arabic literature to further develop a literary learning model based on the study of feminist perspectives through application to students.

Abstract

Community service is an integral part of the "Tri Dharma" of higher education that must be carried out by lecturers, including those at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This activity involves lecturers engaging with communities or industry partners outside the campus, aiming to maximize their expertise while addressing problems or optimizing the potential within society. This particular community service proposal adopts the "Mbangun Desa" (Building Villages) scheme, targeting human resource development with a specific focus on strengthening the character of youth. The program, titled "Strengthening the Character of Youth in Pacarejo Village, Semanu District, Gunung Kidul Regency Through this community service program, it is expected that youth in Pacarejo Village, Semanu, Gunung Kidul will improve their Qur'anic recitation skills and build strong character.
