Abstract

This type of research is survey research. The purpose of this research is to (1) determine the influence of the learning environment on learning motivation, (2) determine the influence of the learning environment on learning outcomes. The population in this study were all MIPA class students at SMAN 20 Pangkep and the selected sample was 144 students. The data collection techniques in this research were questionnaires and documentation. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence between the learning environment on learning motivation. This was proven in testing the t-test hypothesis, which obtained a value of 9,366 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the learning environment plays an important role in the ongoing learning process, especially in student learning motivation. There is a positive and significant influence between the learning environment on learning outcomes. This was proven in testing the t-test hypothesis, which obtained a value of 9,683 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the learning environment plays an important role in the ongoing learning process, especially in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning Model on Students' Critical Thinking Ability on Ecosystem Material for Class X Students of State High School 2 Gowa. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental type of research or also called quasi-experiment with a "random pretest posttest control group" design model. There are two data collection techniques in this research, namely, test and non-test, then the data collected is analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential test analysis. The research results show that the average critical thinking ability students in the experimental class who were taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model were in the very good category with an average score of 78.52 and students' critical thinking abilities, while in the control class who were taught using the lecture method were adequate with an average score 52.55. Inferential analysis in hypothesis testing shows significant results with a sig value of 0.000 > 0.05 so that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' critical thinking abilities in ecosystem material. This is also reinforced by the results of observations regarding student activity increasing.

Abstract

Thematic Real Work Lectures (KKNT) are a form of education by providing learning experiences to students for life in the community outside campus, which automatically together with the community identifies potential and handles problems so that it is hoped that they will be able to develop village/regional potential and create solutions for problems in the village. The implementation of an independent campus is carried out by studying outside the campus (university). Learning carried out in the community environment is carried out using a transdisciplinary approach, where this approach is one of the UM curriculum approaches, apart from the capability approach and life-based learning. The location of this KKNT activity is in Berua village, Ermerasa District, Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The learning carried out for KKNT students is Making Family Name Plates in each Berua Village community, then Revitalizing the Berua Village Office, then Stunting Socialization targeting students in Berua Village, Public Speaking and Leadership Training targeted at village communities, then cleaning The target environment is increasing community awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness, then making village structure boards and village maps, then village profiles depicted on the village office walls, then teaching and learning activities targeted at schools and finally a competition targeted at community awareness of the importance of togetherness.

Abstract

This type of research is survey research. The purpose of this study is to (1) determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the biology learning outcomes of class X students of SMAN 9 Gowa, (2) determine the effect of learning motivation on the biology learning outcomes of class X students of SMAN 9 Gowa, (3) determine the effect of emotional intelligence and learning motivation together on the biology learning outcomes of class X students of SMAN 9 Gowa. The population in this study were all class X students of SMAN 9 Gowa and the selected sample was 153 students. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant effect between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes. This was proven in the t-test hypothesis testing obtained a value of 4.935 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. There was a positive and significant effect between learning motivation and learning outcomes. This was proven in the t-test hypothesis testing obtained a value of 6.965 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that emotional intelligence and learning motivation play an important role in the learning process, especially in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This type of research is Pre-Experimental research with a pre-test and post-test group design which aims to determine student learning outcomes after implementing the expository model assisted by miniature media on student learning outcomes in class VI of SDN No. 3 Tinambung Majene Regency. The sample for this research was 29 class VI students. This research was carried out in 6 meetings, and the material presented during the research was the solar system. The data analysis technique used in this research uses descriptive statistical analysis.The research results showed that the average pretest score was 52.24 and the average posttest score was 86.55. Apart from that, N-Gain analysis shows that the average normalized gain of 0.70 is in the high category. From these results it can be concluded that the application of the expository model assisted by miniature media on the science learning outcomes of students in class VI of SDN No. 3 Tinambung Majene Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah True Eksperimental dengan pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning yaitu berada pada kategori cukup dengan skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis 61,69 dan skor rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif 66,73 dengan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebesar 35% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol dengan model Discovery Learning juga dalam kategori cukup dengan skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis 49,00 dan hasil belajar kognitif dengan rata-rata 44,23 dengan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebesar 4%. Analisis inferensial menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dengan nilai sig>0,05 sehingga ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning Model on the learning outcomes of eco-system material in fifth grade students at SDN Ganrang Jawa 1, Pattalassang District, Gowa Regency. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment). This study used two sample groups, namely the experimental group of 25 students and the control group of 24 students. The instruments used in this study were multiple choice tests and observation sheets which were then tested in a class with a non-equivalent control group design. This is shown by the results of the t test, namely at the significance level α = 0.05, the average of the experimental group was 83.52 and the control group was 82.33. Based on the hypothesis test based on the df value which is 96 with a level value of 0.05 showing the result is 91,004. because t count = 24,266 > t table = 91,004, until H0 is rejected while H1 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the project based learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes in ecosystem material at SDN Ganrang Jawa 1, Pattalassang District, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on the critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is True Experimental with pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The results of the research show that the average critical thinking ability and cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class taught using the Problem Based Learning model are in the sufficient category with an average score of critical thinking ability of 61.69 and an average score of cognitive learning outcomes. 66.73 with students who achieved the KKM of 35%, while in the control class with the Discovery Learning model it was also in the sufficient category with an average critical thinking ability score of 49.00 and cognitive learning outcomes with an average of 44.23 with students who achieved the KKM. by 4%. Inferential analysis shows significant results with a value of sig>0.05 so that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that students' understanding of science concepts is still relatively low. This study aims to analyze students' conceptual understanding before the STEM learning approach is implemented, to analyze students' conceptual understanding after the STEM learning approach is implemented, and to analyze the increase in students' knowledge before and after the STEM learning approach is implemented. This study was a pre-experimental study involving one class as the focus class using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was 26 fifth-grade students at Tidung Elementary School. Data collection involved distributing science test sheets to measure student learning outcomes before and after using the STEM approach, along with observation sheets. The results showed that the average pretest score was 51.54, categorized as low and incomplete, while after implementing the STEM learning approach, the average posttest score was 80.39, categorized as high and complete. The N-gain test showed an average student score of 0.62, which falls into the moderate category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the STEM learning approach has improved the understanding of fifth-grade students' science concepts at Tidung Elementary School.

Abstract

The background of this study was that teachers' suboptimal use and implementation of learning strategies led to a learning environment that left students feeling bored and tired during the lesson, resulting in below-average science learning outcomes. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of implementing the Scramble learning strategy in improving science learning outcomes in fourth-grade students. The method used was an experimental one-group pretest-posttest. The sample consisted of 33 fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Antang I. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. The results showed that the learning process using the Scramble learning strategy had an impact on students' science learning outcomes, as evidenced by the increase in pretest and posttest scores. In the experimental class studied, the average posttest was higher than the pretest. The average posttest was 83.03, while the average pretest was 37.57. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Scramble learning strategy significantly influences students' science learning outcomes.
