Abstract

Differentiated instruction is an approach focused on adapting teaching methods, content, processes, and learning environments to meet the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of individual students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated instruction as a solution to address the diversity of student characteristics in the classroom. Using a systematic literature review, this research examines various strategies and challenges faced in applying this approach in primary and secondary education. The findings reveal that differentiated instruction enhances student engagement, learning outcomes, and fosters character development and independence. However, successful implementation requires full support from schools, sufficient resources, and adequate training for educators. The study concludes that differentiated instruction is an effective approach to creating inclusive and responsive learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between self-efficacy and learning motivation with problem-solving skills in the Citizenship Education course among students in the PPKn program at Pamulang University for the 2023/2024 academic year. Citizenship Education plays a crucial role in shaping students’ understanding of citizenship values, rights, obligations, and responsibilities. Problem-solving skills are seen as key to applying these values. The study focuses on psychological factors influencing problem-solving ability, specifically self-efficacy (belief in one’s capability to handle tasks) and learning motivation (internal drive to learn). The research uses a survey method with questionnaires assessing self-efficacy, learning motivation, and problem-solving skills among PPKn students. The collected data will be analyzed to identify relationships between the variables. This study aims to provide insights for developing learning strategies that support students' problem-solving skills, preparing them to become critical and active citizens.

Abstract

The current teacher professional education program faces several challenges affecting its effectiveness, including issues in teacher learning, instructor issues, implementation problems, sensemaking issues, and the suboptimal number of pre-service PPG graduates. This community service activity targets teachers and alumni of D4 and S1 education and non-education fields across universities. The method used in this activity is socialization. Activity evaluation is conducted post-socialization by filling out instruments and/or Q&A sessions prepared by the PkM Team regarding participant responses to the activities carried out by the PkM Team of lecturers and students. It is expected that through this PkM activity, the understanding of teachers and alumni of D4 and S1 education and non-education fields across universities regarding the importance of understanding and implementing the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2024 on Teacher Professional Education will increase. This will help them face the existing challenges and enhance the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual di Indonesia terus meningkat dan menjadi masalah sosial yang serius. Selain dampak fisik dan psikologis, korban sering mengalami pelabelan negatif dari lingkungan sekitar seperti teman, sekolah, dan tetangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk pelabelan negatif yang dialami korban kekerasan seksual serta dampaknya terhadap masa depan korban dalam aspek pendidikan, sosial, dan psikologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 100 responden korban kekerasan seksual di wilayah Tangerang Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 50% korban menerima pelabelan negatif seperti “anak nakal” atau “penggoda”. Pelabelan ini berdampak besar: secara pendidikan korban mengalami penurunan prestasi bahkan putus sekolah; secara sosial, mereka dikucilkan dan menarik diri; secara psikologis, korban mengalami kecemasan, rasa malu, dan trauma berkepanjangan yang dalam beberapa kasus berujung pada percobaan bunuh diri. Lingkungan seperti keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat memiliki peran penting, baik sebagai pendukung maupun pemberi stigma. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelabelan negatif memperparah kondisi korban dan menghambat pemulihan mereka. Pendekatan empati dan dukungan lingkungan sangat dibutuhkan untuk menciptakan ruang aman bagi korban kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

Philanthropic behavior among students is a salient indicator of civic awareness. This study analyzes how driving factors and inhibiting factors shape students' participation in campus-based social activities. Using a quantitative survey of 200 students from three Indonesian universities, we administered a 20-item Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed the data using validity and reliability tests, Pearson correlations, and multiple linear regression (? = .05). All items demonstrated validity and reliability. Regression results indicate that driving factors have a positive and significant impact on philanthropic participation (? = 0.585, p .001), whereas inhibiting factors, such as time constraints and academic workload, do not significantly predict participation (? = –0.051, p = .404). The model explains 39% of the variance in participation (R² = 0.390), indicating that prosocial values, empathy, peer support, and campus community participation are more significant predictors than contextual constraints. These findings reinforce the Theory of Planned Behavior and the literature on prosocial development, underscoring the importance of intention and social norms in shaping behavior. We discuss implications for program design, including integrating community service into formal recognition systems, strengthening student-led initiatives, and ensuring sustained organizational regeneration to cultivate durable civic participation on campus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam membina keterampilan interpersonal peserta didik melalui pendidikan karakter di SMKN 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan, mengidentifikasi strategi yang digunakan, serta mengungkap tantangan yang dihadapi. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendidikan karakter dalam membentuk lulusan yang tidak hanya kompeten secaraakademik, tetapi juga memiliki kemampuan sosial yang mendukung keberhasilan di dunia kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari lima guru mata pelajaran dan dua wakil kepala sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis dengan model Miles, Huberman, danSaldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan sebagai teladan, fasilitator, dan evaluator nilai karakter dalam pengembangan keterampilan interpersonal siswa. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi pembelajaran kolaboratif, project-based learning, roleplay, studi kasus, dan refleksi nilai yang terintegrasi dalam kurikulum serta budaya sekolah positif. Tantangan yangdihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, fokus siswa pada aspek teknis, variasi kesadaran nilai, keterbatasan pelatihan guru, dan minimnya sinergi dengan orang tua. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai merupakan instrumen penting dalam membentuk keterampilan interpersonal peserta didik, namun memerlukan dukungan sistemik yang konsisten. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah semua bidang salah satunya dibidang pendidikan. Guru dan siswa dituntut untuk belajar dari rumah melalui pembelajaran online, hal ini berpengaruh pada rasa percaya diri dalam belajar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya temuan penurunan hasil belajar matematika siswa dari hasil observasi awal penelitian. Sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dan metode drill. SD Cenderawasih 2 Jakarta kelas IV semester genap tahun ajaran 2019-2020 sebagai tempat melakukan penelitian. Metode eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV, kemudian dipilih sampel secara acak. Kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 30 sampel dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 30 siswa. Intrumen penelitian telah dilakukan uji validitas dengan rumus Point Biserial Correlation didapat 30 soal yang valid dan uji reliabilitas, sementara uji reliabilitas menggunakan KR-20 diperoleh hitung tabel r = 0,894  0,361 = r . Kedua data dilakukan uji lanjutan yaitu normalitas maupun uji homogenitas. Hasil uji normalitas pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh Lhitung =  161 = Ltabel 0,110 0, sementara kelas kontrol Lhitung =  161 = Ltabel 0,063 0, , sehingga kedua sampel dapat disimpulkan berdistribusi normal. Hasil perhitungan uji homogenitas dihasilkan Fhitung =  861 = Fkritis 1,095 1, , sehingga kedua kelas tersebut dapat disimpulkan mempunyai varians homogen. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji–t didapat hitung kritis t = 2,389  2,002 = t taraf signifikansi  = 0,05 serta derajat kebebasan (dk) = 58. Maka tolak H0, sehingga hasil penelitian mengambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan metode drill.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an understanding of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning child protection to prevent Cyberbullying and provide an understanding of the types, negative impacts, and prevention efforts related to Cyberbullying. This research method involves the student council of SMP NEGERI 1 Ciseeng with the implementation of socialization for two days. On the first day, the material was given about the socialization of the Law and on the second day the material was given about cyberbullying. The results showed that some student council members had experienced cyberbullying, they did not understand how to deal with the problem and overcome the trauma and how to report to the authorities. The success indicators in this community service activity increase students' understanding of the child protection law and also the prevention of cyberbullying. The students were also enthusiastic and actively participated in the smooth running of the event with a Q&A session. The results of the study showed a significant effect between the Pre-Test and Post-Test after the presentation of the material that had been delivered. In conclusion, if W count < W table then H0 is rejected or there is a difference between the Pre-Test and Post-Test.
