In green start-up business competition, the main challenge lies in focusing on social and environmental impacts. The purpose of this study is to describe the impact of Social Media Brand Community (SMBC) on Customer-Based Brand Equity (CBBE) mediated by Brand-Community Commitment. This quantitative study uses a purposive sampling technique and the respondents of this study are members of the green start-up brand community as many as 125 respondents, data research are tested and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The findings of this study reveal that the characteristics of SMBC (shared awareness, rituals and traditions, and moral responsibility) directly affect brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand loyalty which are elements of CBBE while brand-community commitment does not affect to CBBE. To improve CBBE, it is necessary to focus on strengthening the characteristics of the brand community. The implementation of brand community in Indonesian green start-up companies has a real impact on marketing performance, especially in growing brand awareness within the community.

Abstract

The fast fashion industry has rapidly grown into a dominant business model in the global apparel sector, driven by consumer demand for affordable and trend-oriented clothing. However, the widespread adoption of this model has raised significant environmental, social, and economic concerns. This article aims to analyze the fast fashion industry phenomenon as a systemic issue using secondary data and a systems thinking approach through a causal loop diagram. The findings reveal the industry’s substantial contribution to climate change, water pollution, microplastic waste, and labor exploitation. Key actors include the government, the fast fashion textile industry, consumers, models, influencers, workers, and investors, each with distinct mental models. By identifying leverage points, the study concludes that digital technology–based intervention strategies can be implemented to support behavioral transformation among consumers and business actors, including MSMEs in the sustainable fashion sector.

Abstract

Human resource (HR) innovation has emerged as a critical lever for advancing economic inclusion in increasingly digital and unequal labor markets. However, existing scholarship remains conceptually fragmented and weakly integrated across theoretical and contextual domains. This study provides a comprehensive synthesis of global research on HR innovation for economic inclusion by employing a dual-method approach that combines bibliometric analysis and a systematic literature review (SLR). A dual-method review was employed, combining bibliometric analysis and a systematic literature review (SLR). The dataset consists of 220 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus and published between 2020 and 2024. Bibliometric techniques were used to map publication trends, influential authors, institutions, and journals, while the SLR identified thematic patterns and conceptual linkages. The analysis reveals four dominant research clusters: (1) inclusive skills development and workforce upskilling, (2) diversity-oriented HR strategies, (3) digital inclusion in HR systems, and (4) HR contributions to social resilience among vulnerable communities. Despite growing scholarly attention, the literature remains fragmented and weakly connected to macro-level equity and inclusion strategies. The study provides a consolidated knowledge base and proposes a future research agenda to strengthen theoretical integration and policy relevance in inclusive HR innovation. This research offers an integrative global synthesis of HR innovation for economic inclusion by combining bibliometric mapping and SLR, highlighting underexplored theoretical and practical gaps in the field.

Abstract

Food waste is a significant challenge for culinary MSMEs due to weak raw material management and the absence of standardized operational procedures. This community service initiative aims to strengthen raw material management capacity to prevent overstock in the MSME pilot project, Jiji Kopitiam. The method consists of three stages: first, system analysis and intervention planning, which include problem identification and intervention design; second, program implementation; and third, the development of a sustainability plan. Root-cause analysis was conducted using a Fishbone diagram, while behavioral identification referred to the COM-B model to determine the behavioral change requirements. Intervention planning was developed using the Theory of Change and behavioural change identification to ensure that all activities followed a logical pathway toward the expected outcomes. The interventions included educational workshops, storage-layout simulations, the development of simplified SOPs, the strengthening of stock recording practices, and public educational campaigns. The results of the mentoring process indicate an improved understanding of raw material management among MSMEs, the adoption of labeling and reorganized storage practices, and increased awareness of systematic stock recording. The formulation of a sustainability plan further enhanced the likelihood of maintaining these improved practices. Overall, this mentoring program successfully fostered initial behavioral changes relevant to reducing food waste in culinary MSMEs.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of reference groups on telemedicine purchase intention among BPJS Kesehatan participants in Indonesia, with BPJS service experience as a moderating variable. Data from 105 respondents were analyzed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS 4.0, with sample adequacy confirmed through G*Power analysis (power = 0.81). Results show that value-expressive influence significantly and positively affects telemedicine purchase intention, while informational and utilitarian influences show no significant direct effects. Notably, BPJS service experience significantly and negatively moderates the relationship between value-expressive influence and purchase intention, indicating that greater service dissatisfaction weakens identity-based social motivations rather than strengthening them. This finding extends the Push-Pull-Mooring framework by revealing that severe institutional dissatisfaction suppresses rather than amplifies value-expressive influence. The study highlights the contextual role of public healthcare experience in digital health adoption decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure affects business financial performance. This study examines financial performance using Return on Assets (ROA) data. Thomson Reuters provides ESG score data. The study population consists of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with complete ESG data from 2018 to 2022. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling strategy, and hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The final sample size for this study was 38 companies, based on the selection criteria. The findings indicate that ESG disclosure has a beneficial and significant impact on corporate financial performance. When considered individually, each ESG pillar (environmental, social, and governance) has a significant impact on ROA. This study suggests that promoting environmental responsibility, social responsibility, and effective corporate governance can improve financial performance. Furthermore, the study shows that ESG has a stronger impact on ROA in larger organizations

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic educational psychology in improving the quality of learning through a qualitative library research approach. Data were collected from books, journal articles, and other relevant academic sources, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative content analysis with thematic categorization. The findings show that Islamic educational psychology contributes to learning quality through four interconnected dimensions: understanding student characteristics, developing effective learning strategies, strengthening learning motivation, and creating a conducive learning atmosphere. These dimensions demonstrate that quality learning in Islamic education is not limited to academic achievement, but also includes spiritual, moral, emotional, and social development. The study further indicates that educators who integrate psychological insight with Islamic values are better able to design responsive, meaningful, and holistic learning experiences. Therefore, Islamic educational psychology serves as an important conceptual and practical foundation for improving learning quality and fostering balanced student development in Islamic educational contexts across contemporary classrooms today.

Abstract

This research investigates and develops the Fitrah Based Education model to develop the Rahmatan Lil’alamin personality through a holistic single case study at SALIM School. This study responds to the demand for translating Islamic philosophical ideas of fitrah into educational components that link spiritual cultivation, talent cultivation, environmental responsibility, interaction adab and parental involvement. The data was gathered through participant observation, semi structured interviews, document study, and focus group discussion with students, facilitators, parents and school administration. The study suggests that the MPF RL model is built based on five interrelated components; the Tauhidic Curriculum, the Talent Civilization Project, the School of Life, the Interaction Adab, and the Parent Sessions. These components form an integrated educational ecosystem where students are guided to develop knowledge by means of Tafakkur fil Kawn, apply their talent to give benefits to the society through Talent to Mission, enhance their ecological responsibility through nature based education, practice peaceful relations through Interaction Adab, and sustain fitrah development through school home cooperation. The research concludes that the MPF RL model offers a contextual and empirical approach to operationalise Fitrah Based Education into educational practices. While the findings are only based on one case, they provide useful insights for Islamic educational institutions to produce students who are moral, life skilled, socially useful, ecological, and in line with the Rahmatan Lil’alamin paradigm.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the interaction between Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on business sustainability, with digital transformation as a moderating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach by collecting primary data through structured questionnaires distributed to business owners and managers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that Accounting Information Systems and Customer Relationship Management have a positive and significant effect on business sustainability. Furthermore, the interaction between AIS and CRM significantly enhances business sustainability, suggesting that the integration of internal financial information and customer-oriented systems strengthens long-term business performance. Digital transformation is found to moderate the relationship between AIS and CRM on business sustainability, indicating that higher levels of digital transformation strengthen the positive impact of AIS–CRM integration on business sustainability. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the strategic role of integrating accounting information systems and customer relationship management in achieving business sustainability, particularly in the context of digital transformation. The findings offer practical implications for business practitioners and policymakers in promoting digital-based system integration to enhance sustainable business performance.
