The analytical method used is descriptive by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The research instruments used were interviews, observation and questionnaires. Abstract

Abstract

Tomohon is a city located in North Sulawesi Province, which is unique in that it has no ocean but is flanked by two volcanic mountains, Mount Lokon and Mount Mahawu. Both mountains are still active, but are considered to provide fertility for agriculture and plantations for local residents. Mahawu Mount has been designated as a special interest tourist attraction, where the local government has arranged infrastructure and facilities. However, the availability of existing facilities does not guarantee good management of the area, there are still many things that need attention. The purpose of this study was to examine visitor perceptions of the management of the Mahawu Mount tourist attraction facilities in Tomohon City. This research method uses a survey method conducted on 100 respondents who visit tourist sites.  The research instruments used were questionnaires and observations.  The  Likert scale is used to categorize each question, as well as the use of score interpretation to facilitate answers to respondents' assessments. The analysis used is descriptive, using tables and percentages.

Abstract

The genestick product is a stick-shaped snack product made from onions in the Manado local language called kue kering biji-biji. This cake is produced by students from Politeknik Negeri Manado who are managed in groups in the form of micro-entrepreneurship, since it was sold it has stagnated, because it only uses a promotion strategy using a social media platform. Since the marketing strategy changed through word of mouth marketing, sales have increased. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of word of mouth marketing strategies on consumer buying interest in ginestick products. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through surveys, of 50 respondents. The analytical tools used are validity and reliability tests, correlation tests, regression tests, determination tests and hypothesis testing through the T test and F test. From some of these tests it is found that consumer buying interest is influenced by word of mouth marketing strategies. At the significance level of the hypothesis test (T and F tests) (0.001) and < the research error rate of 0.05 and with a coefficient of determination of 61.6%, it has a positive effect, which means that the higher the Word of mouth marketing, the higher the buying interest of Genestick product consumers.

Abstract

Abstract

Inclusive tourism remains a challenge in Indonesia, particularly in marine destinations such as Bunaken Island, where accessibility and facilities for people with disabilities are lacking. This study aims to explore stakeholder perceptions, including government officials, tourism businesses, and local communities, regarding the availability and need for disability-friendly tourism infrastructure in Bunaken. A mixed-method approach was applied, combining quantitative surveys of 321 respondents with qualitative interviews and field observations. The findings reveal that stakeholders strongly agree (>4.1) on the urgency of providing access for disabled tourists and moderately agree (>3.7) on the importance of supporting facilities, including accessible toilets, communication aids, and modified transport. However, some respondents raised concerns related to renovation costs and implementation feasibility. The study concludes that inclusive tourism in Bunaken is both necessary and economically promising. Specific recommendations include prioritizing basic accessible infrastructure, engaging disabled persons organizations (DPOs) in planning, and leveraging public-private partnerships to fund improvements. This research contributes to the discourse on sustainable and inclusive tourism by offering empirical insights and practical strategies to make Bunaken Island a more accessible and welcoming destination for all.

However, this will have an impact on the hotel if this is allowed and not handled properly. Through the survey method, research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, and analyzed using simple linear regression, Spearman rank correlation, and the coefficient of determination. The result is that there is an influence of service quality on guest satisfaction, and there is a positive relationship between the two variables; the independent variable contributes to the dependent variable. Although the relationship and contribution are minor.

Abstract

The narrative of each product in a destination needs to be conveyed by telling the uniqueness of each product to arouse curiosity among visitors or tourists. Storytelling in the context of tourism is a method of conveying a story through words, images, or other media, with the aim of conveying information, entertaining, or influencing guests. Budo is a tourist village that has many potential attractions with backgrounds that are said to be myths or actual events, but the managers have never realized that the stories behind these attractions can be memorable for tourists visiting the location. Storytelling training equips tourism managers with various skills and abilities, such as speaking skills, thinking skills, and creativity in managing the existing tourism potential to the maximum. Training methods: opening or orientation, core storytelling activities, and closing or evaluation. The primary focus is on creating engaging stories with a strong core and a structured narrative flow. Through this training, managers can develop storylines for each potential attraction and communicate them effectively.
